It wasn't supposed to happen like this, But you were glad it did.

You knew you should've been more careful and you knew that if your mother had found out she would've disowned you without a second thought but you couldn't help but feel happy knowing that there was now a tiny little human growing inside you.

No one noticed that you had stopped taking missions about three weeks ago; when you found out you were pregnant. You never stood out like that but you didn't mind because at least you got stay with Mira as you watched wizards come home from the missions they had accomplished.

You were currently sitting at a table that was full of your team mates; the whole 'team' would now be delayed for nine months. Natsu sat beside you with his arm sitting protectively around your waist while he boasted about his latest mission that he and his team had completed. You smiled in delight, you small hand rubbing your stomach when you thought about when you were going to tell Natsu that you were currently carrying his child.

You knew that people would notice soon- much to your dismay. Everyone in the guild goes on missions to get paid and what would you do? You had to get money to save and provide for your unborn child. Natsu would especially notice very soon because you were his right hand man- you two were the best team and it wasn't just because of the mutual love and connection you shared.

You two thought alike and it often scared some people because of how much you had in common with Natsu and vice-versa. But this time you just hoped that you could convince him when you told him you just didn't feel like it. Hopefully his dragon senses wouldn't beat you into letting him know you had another life inside of you, you wanted to tell him yourself- but you still weren't sure how.

"-eeling okay?" Lucy's sweet voice knocked you out of your dizzying mind, gaining your attention when you looked at her, raising your brow silently to ask her to repeat her question.

She leaned over the table, proceeding to place her palm over your forehead while Natsu watched this in a puzzled manner.

"What's up?" You asked while you sat still, letting her continue to feel your face.

"Lucy, if you wanted to have an excuse to touch me, you could've just said so." You playfully giggled, rolling your eyes while you flipped your hair over your shoulder.

Natsu's hold on you tightened when you felt him chuckling beside you and Lucy just growled in frustration- sick of people teasing her about love interests. She grumbled to
herself and sat back in her seat while everyone else at the table laughed to themselves. Erza continues to eat her strawberry cake, Gray is daydreaming as Juvia is next to him talking about her ever-lasting love for him and Natsu is just itching to do something to entertain himself.

With a sudden bang on the table thanks to Natsu's fist, your sudden shock was then replaced with fear when Natsu excitedly screamed out, "UHHH I'm so bored! (Y/N), let's go on a mission!"

Watching Natsu's grinning face made you upset when without a sudden thought, you looked to Gray who watched with a bored face when he suddenly perked up as you screamed his name- startling yourself along with everyone else in the guild.

You continued to stare at the Ice mage as he watched in annoyance and confusion and then stopped all together when you finally completed your sentence.

"Gray! You- I mean, he can go with you!" You yelled, pointing to Gray and Natsu at the same time. The boys looked at each other with furrowed brows, totally shocked and baffled at your answer; Natsu- your boyfriend and Gray- your best friend and then there was Gray and Natsu- who were pretty much enemies.. Maybe Frenemies.

Gray sighed and nodded after watching your pleading eyes for about half a minute and Natsu simply walked away, most likely wondering why you rejected him while mumbling incoherent words to himself.

You watched as your boyfriend walked away from you with forlorn eyes but yelped when you felt someone tugging you from your seat and straight out of the guild, where you two couldn't be seen speaking. Turning to the person you saw Gray who retracted his grip on your arm. His eyes held annoyance and you had to look away from his eyes before he spoke and broke the quiet.

"Why didn't you go on the mission? Natsu asked you! And if you didn't already know, Natsu and I aren't exactly buddy-buddy with each other."

Gray watched with awaiting eyes but all you did was simply - and involuntarily- reached your arm up to slide it onto your stomach. Gray caught the movement but didn't catch your small and gentle smile. Thinking about it now, Gray happened to be your best friend, so why not?

The other hand that wasn't on your flat stomach reached up to rest on your forehead as you playfully leaned against a now shocked and bewildered looking Gray who just managed to catch you as you bellowed out to him.

"Oh Gray! It's absolutely wonderful- I-I'm with child!" You laughed out the end of your sentence and yelped when Gray came to his senses- pulling you into his chest and hugging you mumbling, 'oh my god' and 'congratulations' into your shoulder. You swore you even heard, 'With that flame-for-brains?'

"Who else knows?" Gray asked quickly when he pulled you back by the shoulders to look at your face. You timidly smiled at him- hoping to soften the scolding you were bound to receive when you answered him.

He narrowed his eyes, waiting and you finally answered in a low voice, "You're the first to know Gray." He nodded his head at that, smiling lightly- almost a boastful smile but it turned grim when he realised that you mentioned that he was the first to know.. Instead of the father.

"What about Natsu? How long have you known."

"Uh.. I don't know how to tell him.. It's been l-like.. Two-"

"Days?"

"- Or three weeks."

Gray's eyes popped out of his head at that and you scrunched your nose, waiting for the lecture before another familiar voice startled you, "Hey! (Y/N)- Natsu, I found her!"

You heard Happy's voice as he suddenly landed on your tense shoulder, you heard Natsu racing towards you and chirp out, "Hey! Whatcha talking about?"

"The weather!"

"The mission!"

You squinted your eyes on confusion, the weather? Really Gray.

You glared at Gray who watched you with large and frightened eyes when you felt Natsu's side on your back, you turned to him and gave a smile- hoping he wouldn't see through the facade and pecked his cheek.

"We weren't talking about anything Natsu- Just the weather on your mission. Wouldn't want you guys to get sick when you came home!"

- Time Skip Two Weeks Later -

Lifting your head from the toilet bowl, you gagged at the smell and taste of your own vomit while you flushed the toilet. You wiped your mouth and stood up slowly, looking in the bathroom mirror you shrieked when Natsu suddenly pounced through the door with that huge smile on his face.

You would've laughed and embraced him in a huge hug if this was a good time but obviously you weren't going to do that. He grabbed your waist and leaned forward for a kiss that you dodged much to his dismay and you hastily got out of his tough embrace, leaning over the sink to brush your teeth.

Natsu looked around with a frown on his face- he had just come home from that mission with Gray and you didn't even kiss him or welcome him home. Smelling the air- Natsu looked from you and the toilet bowl, noticing the stench that smelt particularly awful.

"You're sick?" Natsu asked quickly with concern as he approached you quickly, watching your face from the bathroom mirror.

"Just had some bad food. Welcome home- how was the mission?" You smiled gently- still in pain from your heaving and spewing- you knew you had to tell him at some point now, your stomach was still flat but you had just begun vomiting quite a bit.

He chuckled while puffing his chest out, seeming boastful- opening his mouth to speak about the villains he burnt to a crisp before you dashed straight back to the toilet bowl- emptying out the rest of your lunch.

- Time Skip -

A few hours later, Natsu and yourself had made it to the guild, with Natsu complaining about how you should be in bed resting the whole time, you finally made it there and Natsu was lucky he still in one piece.

Sitting at a table alone, you watched the guild members all taking part in the fight that Natsu and Gray had begun. Chairs and Tables were thrown and somehow in the midst of the fight with Gray, Natsu had been keeping an eye on you- punching the chairs that were accidentally thrown in your direction.

Much to Natsu's confusion- Gray had actually done that too and smiled gratefully at the boys- silently thinking about raising a child here. This was your family after all.

Stifling laughter to yourself you watched the wizards going crazy and you couldn't help rubbing your stomach as you mumbled words to yourself- unaware of the volume since the fighting was already loud enough.

"Uhmmm... What to do with this guild, hm? You're daddy is over there fighting your uncle. We'll see if you get his pink hair." Giggling to yourself you continued, " Uncle Gray uses Ice but your daddy uses fire so they don't get along- but they will if i have something to do with it."

"Lucy is the blonde, she has spirits- I think its pretty cool. Erza- make sure you don't try to start a fight with her- she's scary and puts daddy to sleep when he get's annoying but it's okay. Mommy loves him like that anyway."

"Juvia plays with water, and she loves uncle Gray very much- hopefully by the time you're here they will be together like mommy and daddy is. I already know you're going to love this place as much as I do- you are my child after all."

Hushed whispers were now heard in the guild and when you had left your imagination, you found yourself staring straight Natsu as he was doing the same with large and astonished eyes. A jaw dropped and his arms slack by his sides.

You looked around noticing people had actually gone quiet because of your blabbering and you guessed you weren't as careful as you thought when the colour drained from your face.

Not taking you eyes from Natsu you watched for any type of reaction or emotion as he wordlessly carried himself in your direction. You watched as he suddenly grabbed you cheeks, smashing his lips to yours in a messy kiss- almost devouring your face when you squealed in surprise.

Pulling away in a dash you watched as Natsu held the biggest smile you had ever seen - which was immensely huge - and he yelled out, "I'm going to be a dad!" In one ecstatic motion, hearing cheers and applauds before he passed out due to overwhelming happiness- if that was even possible.
