When word got out and around about a forbidden fruit, it was quite bluntly obvious about what you were going to do- eat the fruit.

You knew you had eyes watching you, particularly the Master's old eyes but you ignored them as usual- you knew that he couldn't do anything when you were innocently walking around the guild like you were. He knew you were scheming something though because that was just who you were.

You were basically ignored by a lot of the other mages in Fairy Tail but you didn't mind since you preferred going solo anyway. But just like in every other story, there was always one guy who wouldn't leave you the hell alone. It wasn't that you hated him per say, it was just that he seriously irritated you so you just enjoyed doing it back to him.

His pink hair was deliciously hot but because he annoyed you, you only found it annoying. His obnoxious laughter and his smile brought you weak at the knees but it only made you frown in displeasure. The fact that he wore an open vest and nothing beneath it only made your mouth water but you could only punch him in the head in retaliation.

"(Y/N) I know what you're thinking so don't even think about doing it." You heard your guild master mutter authoritatively behind you. You turned around with a somewhat innocent-looking smirk painted across your lips as you watched the Master up and down as he stood, his hands crossed on his chest as he stood on the bar.

You moved your weight from one foot to the other as your hip tilted out in defiance, "I don't know what you're talking about you old man. Lay off, will ya?"

Makarov only stared back you with an impassive expression and you took your leave before halting suddenly to miss the baseball-sized fireball that only just missed your face, "Why are you speaking like that to Makarov! I wanna know what's happening! Tell me~!"

You growled in irritation once again when listening to that whiny voice and promptly ignored it. You walked away to look around different places of the guild- ignoring the foot steps that followed behind you stubbornly.

"Leave me alone you fire breather!"

"But I feel left out! Why don't you leave me alone you- you-Argh!!"

He groaned in frustration and you almost smiled in satisfaction at his troubled behaviour, "Idiot.." You muttered as you wiped your face, "You're the one following me.." You argued back softly.

He grinned sheepishly and saluted you strongly, "Then lead the way!"

'God damn this boy..' You thought as you mentally punched yourself in the face. You walked away nonetheless and looked everywhere, ignoring the odd looks and questions you received. The fact that that old geezer didn't want you to find that stupid fruit was even more motivation for you to find it, because you were gonna eat it and see what was so 'forbidden' about it.

You knew she hadn't noticed but you had been watching Mira as she watched you with cautious and slightly uneasy eyes. She seemed very sceptical about you and it was as if she knew something you didn't and that obviously made you suspicious enough to approach her as the Master was talking to other Mages as he continued to get drunk.

"So Mira.. Wha-"

"HEY MIR-"

"SHUT UP!" The scream erupted from your throat when Natsu cut you off, which was one of things you seriously hated; being cut off. You glared at the boy beside you as he stared back with a shocked look covering his face, as well as Mira's face.

"Ahem.." You glanced back at her, coughing awkwardly, "AS.. I was saying, what's with that look on your face huh? Are you perhaps hiding something.. Perhaps rhyming with d-..p..b-Brute.. Yeah! Brute, Huh??"

You neared the white-haired she-devil with each syllable leaving your mouth and you knew Natsu was already confused at your choice of wording. You could hear him behind you, "Br-brute..? What is that.. Wha- Brute..?"

Mira glanced at Natsu with an odd look before it disappeared as she offered you a sweet smile that unconsciously became contagious, "I don't know what you're talking about, do you want a drink (Y/N)?"

You sighed and sat on the stool before the girl, Mira took that as a yes before you spoke again, "Gimme the damn fruit Mira, I won't take no for an answer."

"Ohhh.. It was fruit!"

Natsu was ignored again before he came back to the conversation and stood beside you, a little too close for comfort by the looks of the blush on your cheeks, "I'm sorry, no can do (Y/N).."

"Damn, okay come on Natsu." You shrugged your shoulders as you backed away from the bar and Mira stared at you puzzled, as did the fire dragon slayer, "Wait that's it? What about the fruit?!" Natsu cried out in displeasure as he got dragged away from you. You sat at a nearby table, startling Natsu when you brought his arm closer to you to whisper in his ear, "Go along with it you idiot."

In not even a second the fire breather was coughing for air once you had punched him in the gut so fast that he didn't even see your arm move, "Oh my gosh Natsu are you alright?!" You put on a façade as you pretended to actually care about Natsu when you placed a tender hand on his back, rubbing the cloth of his vest covering his muscular back.

"Wh-Why- You-wha?!"

Natsu coughed out incoherent words and you cut him off before he said too much, "Natsu! You have to go to the infirmary!" You yelled the last word and successfully got Mira's attention as she ran towards the both of you and proceeded to drag Natsu away as you winked at him as he left in agony.

You jumped over the bar top and looked along the shelves before a certain jar caught your eye. You looked around again and there was nothing else but bottles of alcohol and cups so you took the jar and left.

"Man that hurt! Why would you do that?"

You turned to see Natsu before rolling your eyes and turn back to the scenery of the ocean, "I told you to go along with it you idiot, you're so dense.."

He furrowed his brows when he caught you throwing something small into your mouth, "Whatcha eating! I'm so hungry!"

"Help yourself, some kind of forbidden fruit this is, it doesn't do crap- taste's good though."

"Huh?! This is it? Give me some! What is it?"

You sighed again at Natsu's annoying nature and muttered out with your mouth full, "It's.. mm-the.. ferbidn' froot.."

He took a bite and grinned before eating the whole thing, it was only the size of a mandarin anyway. You felt something weird then though because the second Natsu swallowed his fruit, all of your thought's ceased.

"Leave me alone-"

"I was just thinking that!" He grinned carelessly, "I don't care!"

"I thought that too!"

"OI you old man! What the hell is this!"

"She's so pretty.."

You stilled and looked behind you to find Natsu openly staring at you, "Ma-Ma.. Makarov!" You yelled. You short man arrived as he yawned and the distressed faces that welcomed him only caused a sigh to leave his mouth, already knowing what had occurred, "You found the jar, didn't you?"

You nodded and furrowed your brows when you couldn't hear anything in your head, no voices or unconscious thoughts at all.

'What is this? What the hell is happening, why can't I hear anything in my head, it was that fruit right? Oh my gosh I'm dying, no please. I am so confused I do-'

"ARGH it's SO LOUD!" Natsu yelled in aggravation as his hand tightened around his skull with a pained look.

You pointed at the pink-haired boy with a crazed look upon your face and Makarov only smiled like the cheeky bastard he was, "You found the fruit and just as you have both found out, it only works when two people eat from the same fruit. It'll wear off in a day so now you can deal with the consequences."

He walked away without another word and you had to mentally refrain yourself from blasting the master to the next city, "You're so violent (Y/N)! Why would you want to do that to Makarov!?" Natsu exclaimed in horror and curiosity, 'I'm so hungry..'

"Hungry?! You just ate! What is wrong with you!"

'How does he eat so much yet still maintain such an amazing body!?'

His face blew up with blush, a grin growing across his mouth, "What?" You questioned in fear, "You think I'm hot~!"

You covered your mouth and blushed deeply as you stared in horror, 'She's so cute!'

"Y-Y-You th-think I'm cu-cu-cute!"

"I do! How did you know that?!"

"We can hear each other's thoughts you damn idiot, You're so annoying!" You growled out as the hot blush ceased to leave your enraged face. The way Natsu carelessly throws out comments like bluntly admitting he think's you're cute are a problem.

You turned around anyway and headed for the door's of the guild, passing Gray as he watched quietly, "What the hell is happening?"

'Leave me alone!'

"Leave me alone!" Natsu had yelled with furrowed brows. You gaped and face-palmed when he literally said what you thought with no hesitation at all, this was becoming dangerous.

"Oh my god what if he hears me talking about his body of something like that, I'm totally screwed! I can't just talk out loud for a whole day without thinking anything!"

'..Love? I don't love her! Do I?"

You halted and face-palmed again when Natsu still didn't realise that he wouldn't listen to his own thoughts, you turned around and stomped back to the guild to watch Natsu sitting at a table with Erza, Lucy and Gray.

"Hey (Y/N), You're back!" Lucy smiled and you only nervously smiled back, 'She's so pretty, I wish I was like her..'

"What? Why would you wanna be like Lucy?" Natsu interrupted loudly which caused you and Lucy to stare at him; you in horror and Lucy in confusion.

"Don't speak everything I think you Idiot! Oh my god!" You exclaimed in desperation. He grinned sheepishly, 'She sure calls me Idiot a lot.. Hehe..'

"That because you are one! You're so annoying- Do you not find it absolutely bizarre that we hear each other's thought?!"

Natsu stared before answering with no expression on his face, "What? No I think it's awesome! If I had known their was a fruit like this, I would've done this with you ages ago!"

"That's so stupid! I don't want to hear what you think! It's too stupid for my brain to handle!" Gray laughed at your comment and you wanted to giggle at the look of shock and irritation on the fire dragon slayers face, "That's so mean!"

'He's so annoying! Why is he so damn attractive!'

"You think I'm attractive!"

'She's so adorable! And she think's I'm attractive- she also thought I had an amazing body! Does she like me?!'

"Why are your thought's screaming! My head hurts and stop thinking so much nonsense!" You yelled defensively. Erza didn't stop eating her strawberry cake and Lucy watched slightly frightened yet amused and Gray watched this only for his pure entertainment. You face burned red and you crossed your arms across your chest to somehow feel less vulnerable than you already do.

"Nonsense?! Me liking you is nonsense?"

"Oh please why would you like me! I call you names and abuse you! Are you stupid, stupid?"

'Stupid this, Stupid that- what is wrong with me' You thought unconsciously, keeping your thoughts in check would definitely be easier said than done, "You-.. You do that because you like me like I like you! Uh Huh!" He grinned at you as he pointed at you, his yelling almost making your deaf.

'As if.. He just hot, right?'

'I heard that! You know I always know what you're thinking, right?!'

'Right.. And?'

"Are they speaking to each other right now?" Lucy muttered out as Gray slowly nodded, watching both of your faces twitch with everything you both thought.

'And~ I am always on your mind! Ever since eating that fruit! So that means you HAVE to like me!'

'Idiot! I could say the same thing about you then! You sure are pretty confident In yourself, aren't you?'

'Well yeah, after hearing what you think about my body, hair and face..-'

'I didn-'

'But you did! And you don't even realise it!' He smiled joyfully as if accomplishing a goal and you wanted to punch him again.

'And besides, isn't it obvious I like you? After everything you've heard me thinking? You're so dense (Y/N)!'

"Who the hell are you calling dense!"

"OH.. That scared me, it was so quiet.." Gray mumbled when he jumped at the sound of your voice.

"Shut up Gray!"

"Shut up Gray!"

You both yelled it at the same time and you hated how you liked the fact that you both screamed in amazing synchronisation, "Just admit it (Y/N), You-" He pointed at you defiantly as he approached you, "Like me! And I like you! So it's amazing!" He yelled as he then pointed to himself. He chuckled in accomplishment and you sighed, sitting in the seat beside you, 'Dammit..'

'So- so what! Leave me alone!'

"Nuh-uh! I'm not leaving my girlfriend alone! You're such a tsundere!"

"Don't say it out loud you idiot! We can still hear each other's thoughts!"

"You didn't deny it though!" He laughed as he pulled you up to squish you in between his muscular arms.

"Shut up! Stupid!"

You both blushed at the intimate contact as he hugged you, you buried your face in his shoulder to hide your embarrassed face, 'He's so warm.. Smell's so nice.."

"You're so CUTE!"
