Saitama and yourself haven't been friends for a long time. You both lived in the same apartment building until you couldn't pay your rent anymore. Saitama had been listening to you pleading to the owner of the building and he actually felt kind of bad for you.

You were homeless now and you didn't even have enough money to survive for the rest of the week. Saitama saw you sitting on the edge of the road with a suitcase placed at your legs. You weren't crying but you were close to it.

Saitama didn't know what to do and these feelings came all too fast and too new, he hadn't been feeling things ever since he became a hero three years ago and now suddenly a girl he didn't even know lived in his building was forcing them out.

Minutes later you continued to sit and sulk on the sidewalk contemplating your next moves and heard scuffled footsteps approaching you. Turning your head you glanced up to see an awkward bald man looking at his feet beside you. He then looked at your eyes with a bored expression and you continued to stare puzzled.

"There's monsters.. Around, come inside."

That was then the beginning of your deal with Saitama; you would help him with his needs concerning his apartment and consumption of food and he would allow you to stay with him. You were shocked but you were also so grateful at the same time. You actually freaked Saitama out by bursting into tears of happiness.

You met Genos later that day who happened to be Saitama's disciple after you learned all about Saitama's hobby; a hero who could kill monsters with one punch. You scoffed at the statement as Saitama watched- not even cracking a smile but then you were seriously proved wrong when some giant praying mantis broke through the ceiling before meeting it's death by the fist of the bald hero.

You had to pick your jaw off of the ground when you saw him punch the Lion beast and so today you knew you shouldn't ever make that man upset, or say anything about the lack of hair on his shiny head.

Living in the apartment with yourself and two other guys- a cyborg and a superhuman hero- it was occasionally quite boring when they would leave to save the citizens of City Z and kill the monsters. You had constantly asked if you could go with with and watch on the sidelines but Saitama would get this unfamiliar look in his eyes when he shot hit head straight towards you and said no.

Both Genos and yourself would grow surprised by his strong voice but your pleading did nothing to change his mind. All you could do was hope they would come home safe- which they never failed at- and make them some food that they always eagerly scoffed down as soon as they entered the door.

You almost scolded Siatama because of how much he resembled a pig when he ate his food but watching him eat so fast made you somewhat delighted because he liked your food. Before and after every meal Saitama would thank you for the food. He was constantly sincere and sometimes he even looked nervous doing it. You would blush and tell him it was your pleasure to which a small smile grew on his face.

Genos was consistently analysing you with his robotic eyes and you unceasingly felt nervous under his direct gaze. Genos happened to do this whenever he knew Saitama wouldn't look or else Saitama was just that oblivious- you thought the latter and you didn't know why you felt like you had something to keep from Genos.

But what was even more peculiar was that Genos would analyse you after Saitama had done or said something nice to you. Saitama was always kind to you, he would- to your surprise- compliment you, he would thank you; sometimes for nothing at all and he would always ask if you were okay and sometimes you would even catch his emotionless gaze on you before he casually looked away after being caught.

This morning you awoke to the mouth-watering smell of blueberry pancakes- confused because it wasn't you in the kitchen- you walked into the tiny kitchen that was full of unnecessary pans and cooking equipment and standing with his bare and muscular back facing you was the bald and beautiful Saitama facing the stove as he clumsily flipped some deformed looking pancakes.. Could they even be called that?

The man cooking jumped at the sound of your stifled yawn as you stood like a statue watching his muscles move and contract as he flipped the pancakes. You swore you almost drooled but stopped breathing all together when the man turned around.. Giving you a first class seat to the sight of his abs that almost caused you to crumble.

"Oi, you hungry?" The man asked, unaware of your current mental crisis of bodily shut down. You nodded unconsciously, unaware of anything he said apart from the fact that you saw his mouth moving.

He then scratched the back of his neck and his cheeks seemed to turn pink, making you look at him puzzled when your eyes finally made it to his flawless face. These actions seemed like signs of nervousness but you didn't know why he would be.

"Uh.. You cook for me- so I thought I could cook for you?" He answered as he gripped the spatula in his hand tighter. You sighed feeling the blush rise to your cheeks and quickly took your spot beside him, hair making a curtain around your face so he wouldn't be able to see how flustered he just made you. You smiled quickly at him and muttered a small thank you as you gently took the spatula and continued flipping and pouring the batter in the hot pan.

The man shrugged and took his seat on the couch watching the news. A new broadcast popped up with the news reporters yelling about a monster terrorising City A. The cameras shook as the people screamed for a hero when they stated that other heroes had already arrived and now they were barely conscious. You watched with agitation, turning off the stove and jumping next to Saitama just as he was about to get up to put his hero suit on.

You grasped his brawny arm causing him to watch you with puzzled eyes but grew annoyed when you suddenly pleaded, "Take me with you! I wanna come!"

Genos waited impatiently, having watched everything happened between you and Saitama as he was the one that actually helped Saitama think of what to cook you.
He just stood their watching as his masters heart beat rose immensely at the contact you gave him and perked up watching as your hearts began to move in sync and called out, "Sensei- are you okay? Your heart beat is fast."

"Eh!? Oh- It's nothing- Let's go."

Genos nodded unconvinced and you watched as he wordlessly moved from your grip and dragged himself to his bedroom where he came out a second later, half way through doing up his zip and walking away before he stopped and turned to you quickly, "Stay safe."

You gulped and nodded your head as you watched him ran out of your sight in a second flat.

It was now night time and the sun had gone beneath the horizon a few hours ago. The news reports came through at about midday stating a hero had saved them and that the monsters had disappeared or died. You were glad it was over for now but you were irritated at the fact that you knew Saitama and Genos had probably done it but just like every other time- they never got the recognition they deserved.

Bangs on the door made you race over and rip it open to see the amazing sight of a perfectly fine Saitama and Genos standing behind him. You breathed a sigh of relief and hugged Genos, to which he accepted late due to how awkward he felt and next was Saitama who stood watching your peculiar behaviour.

Nevertheless you embraced him in a hug, wrapping your slim arms around his waist so he could hug you back around your neck even tighter. You loosened your arms after a second to let go but Saitama shocked you when he actually held you longer and tighter, seeming to nuzzle his face into your neck without thinking of what he was doing.

Without a word he slowly let go and mumbled out a goodnight, walking to his dark room that engulfed him in till he couldn't be seen and the door had closed behind him.
Now you stood in the doorway with a silent Genos who was watching you both again with an indecipherable look on his face. You stared back with a brow raised, lifting your hands to rest them on your hips while you waited for him to explain himself.

"Why have you not reacted to Sensei's affectionate actions, (Y/N)?"

With your eyes almost popping out of your head you stumbled over to the couch, inviting him over to elaborate with a flabbergast expression laying on your face. He simply continued to stare as he took the seat next to you, the only light illuminating the room being the lamp beside the tv.

"Sensei is... emotionless due to his hero abilities but he is trying to show you, have you not known?" He answered with a tilted head without breaking eye contact.

"What on earth are you talking about Genos? You saying Saitama- the caped baldy- likes me or something?" You asked incredulously, wringing your hands together in your lap as Genos whispered back his answer after hearing Saitama's loud and very unattractive snores.

"Sensei has his ways, (Y/N)- in fact I originally thought you two were an item when you moved in because of how he looked at you. I have never seen Saitama-Sensei emit that much emotion since I met him and began training under him as his disciple. Are you really that naive (Y/N)?"

You thought about the cyborgs words, nodding along with him before you repeated his last sentence in your head.

"Aye! I'm not naive!" You growled out waving your fist in the air to somehow threaten him. An unaffected Genos stared and looked down, sighing to himself as he proceeded to look back at you with his eyebrows furrowed.

"My apologies, it wasn't my intention to offend you (Y/N) but I must ask you if you have noticed when Saitama stares at you" You rolled your eyes to his insincere sounding apology but kept nodding anyway, continuing to listen.

"Have you noticed that Saitama seems more calm and relaxed now that your around- compared to when I had moved in. Or maybe when he cooks you things and watches you with a smile when you eat his food. Or how about how eager he gets when he is heading back here to see you again. And when he compliments you sometimes or asks if your doing okay just so he can be more relaxed as long as your fine. And when he never, ever let's you go out with him to kill a monster because I can see how worried he gets when he thinks about him not being able to protect you."

You felt your head nodding, unstopping since the cyborg first began speaking. You were speechless thinking about all of the little things Saitama did that actually had a big effect on you- causing you to become a flustered mess; your infatuation growing with every little thing he did. Thinking of everything you began to realise how naive you really were being but the hero was always so emotionless so it sort of made it unfair but you couldn't deny that you were forever in debt to him when he took you in and gave you a place to live and food to eat.

You also couldn't deny the fact that you had grown feelings for him thinking back to when he nervously approached you and took you in, making that ridiculous deal just to make you stay.

You looked back to Genos- smiling widely at him before hugging him and murmuring a, 'Goodnight' and 'Thanks.' Genoes nodded and went to his bed when you turned to watch Saitama's door, biting your lip.

You slowly walked towards it, hand twisting the cold door knob to push it open and watch a shirtless Saitama sleep on his mattress with the blankets splayed over his waist where you caught a glimpse of his V- line.

You smiled again and crouched down to cup his face; silently leaning down and placing a chaste kiss upon his forehead when he mumbled incoherent words in his sleep and seemed to lean into your touch.

A smile never leaving your face; you got into the bed beside him and as you lifted the blankets to cover you, you felt the man next to you snuggle into your warmth and embrace you into his body when you laid your head on his chest . Seconds later he slowly and sloppily placed a kiss on your head with a small smile on his face.
And so you both fell into a blissful slumber wrapped in each others warmth and unspoken love together.
