This takes place before Eren turns into a titan

Here you were, in the court, tied up on a pole next to someone named Eren Jaeger; who was currently being kicked in the face by Levi. You had a hood covering your face since you became disgusted of what you had become and didn't want Levi to know that it was you; you had turned into a titan in the expedition for some reason, after all. How did this happen? Well, it all started two months prior to this moment.

~flashback~

You lied down on a root of a tree, relaxing after your tiring training. You always trained and did your best, and it paid off when you became a part of Hanji's squad two months ago. She was a klutzy but amazing squad leader after all. You shut your eyes, smiling at the thought.

"(F/N)!!" Your friend and squad leader, Hanji, yelled, running to you with a smile on her face and a white envelope in her hands. You quickly sat up and leaned against the tree you were sitting on. She stood in front of you, panting, her smile never fading. She handed you the white envelope, its seal had the wings of freedom on it, it must be from Erwin.

"What's this?" You asked as you accepted the letter.

"Just read it! Now!" She said, all excited and happy. You opened the envelope and took out the letter inside.

"Miss (F/N) (L/N), you are being moved to squad Levi. Sincerely, Commander Erwin Smith." You read out loud and then your eyes widened. "I'm being moved to squad Levi?!" A wide smile appeared on your face.

"Yes! Isn't that great?" Hanji said and you stood up and hugged her and you two jumped in joy.

"But I won't be on your squad anymore, Hanji..." You said and broke away from the hug.

"Aw, shucks. It's fine! We'll still be friends anyway."

"Tch. Brat, stop yelling and start training." A cold voice said to you...Oh crap, it was Levi. Your heart thudded so hard that it felt like it was going to jump out of your chest. His beautiful raven-black hair swayed in the wind gracefully and his steel gray eyes shone in the sunset. You had to admit, he looked pretty damn hot and you had a crush on him.

You saluted to him and started training...again.

~~~timeskip: expedition~~~

You and Levi have gotten quite close over the past one and a half months, and he treated you like his best cadet, earing you some recognition and some glares from a jealous Petra. It was now time for the expedition.

The horses of your squadmates lined up in the formation, you tightly gripped the reigns of your (C) horse, racing behind Levi, Oluo*, Günther, Eld,and Petra. Your horse seemed like it had a problem and you had a bad feeling about Petra; she was glaring at you after all. Your horse slowed down even more, which was odd since it was a finely bred racing horse, and Petra seemed to have slowed down on purpose. Levi, Oluo, Günther, and Eld were soon out of sight and you and Petra were left behind.

"Well, aren't you getting slow, (F/N)~." Petra mocked. "Oh, how dumb of you to ride an injured horse~."

"You--! I should've know that you did something to my horse!" You yelled.

"Oh, look, it's an aberrant titan, see you, (F/N)." Petra dashed away, leaving you. Your eyes widened as you looked behind to see a 15 meter class aberrant titan. You deployed your hooks, attaching to its nape, but it grabbed you, taking you into its gigantic mouth; swallowing you whole. Luckily, it didn't chew you. You were horrified. There were dead bodies and severed limbs everywhere, floating around you in the Titan's stomach.

"This isn't happening..." You tried to console yourself, but to no avail, it didn't change the fact that you were actually in a titan's stomach. "I still have my duty to fulfill, I have to kill all the titans...This is just a dream...yes, that's right...I'll just wake myself up then..." You raised your hand to your mouth, hesitantly biting it. The feeling of being lightly electrocuted surrounded your body, and in a blink of an eye, your hand pierced through the titan's stomach. Your vision was green.

'When did my hand get so big?' You thought to yourself as you forced your way through the hole you created, ripping the titan in half, killing it. Once you were out, you looked at yourself. Your skin was a metallic color and had several glowing (C) streaks, going down from your shoulder to your wrist on both of your hands and two streaks going down from your thighs. Your hands were covered in metal-like gloves. You had finally realized what you had become, a titan, a monster. You were filled with rage, thinking that the titans had turned you into one of them. You grabbed an upcoming titan and ripped its head off and smashed its body on the ground and repeated it, again and again, killing several titans. Then, you couldn't move anymore, well, atleast your titan body couldn't move anymore, but the real you in your titan form's nape had awakened. The nape started to dissipate, creating a hole in it, allowing you to step out.

You were confused and scared of what you had become. Were you a human? A titan? Or both? Questions raced through your mind...

-meanwhile-

"Corporal, corporal!" Petra said as she caught up with the rest of her squad, fake tears running down her face.

"What is it brat? And where's (F/N)?" Levi said coldly, annoying Petra. He always talked about you and not her.

"(F/N)...is dead..." She said.

"What?!"

"She was eaten by an aberrant titan. I-I couldn't save her..."

"Eld, lead the squad! I'm going back." Levi yelled. Petra gritted her teeth.

'Is (F/N) really more important to him than his squad?!' She thought angrily.

Levi rushed back on his horse to see you in your titan form, angrily killing titans, but of course, he couldn't tell that it was you.

"A titan killing titans?" He thought to himself until your titan form stopped moving and slowly dissipated and you stepped out. "A human?"

Your horse somehow found you and you jumped off your titan form's back, landing safely. You dug out a black cloak from the sachel that your horse carried and put it on, the hood covering your face. Levi rushed over to you, but several witnesses tackled you to the ground and tied you up. Luckily, your hood was still on. They rushed over to Erwin with you in a cart carried by a horse.

"We have to abort the expedition, this is an important discovery. We have to go back." They said then you started to feel weak and blacked out.

You opened your eyes to see the court.

'How did I end up here?' You wondered.

"The trial to decide on which legion these 'titan shifters' will go to has begun." The judge boomed. You were still drowsy and you barely paid any attention to what the people around you were saying until you heard a kick. You looked to the brown eyed boy beside you and saw that he had been kicked by Levi. He then moved on to you ater kicking the boy.

"Who are you and why were you outside the walls on the expedition of the survey corps?" Levi asked, but you didn't speak or even try to utter a single word. Your eyes widened as you suddenly felt your hood being pulled away. "(F-F/N)?" He stuttered and you looked down in shame.

"Isn't that the new member of the special operations squad?" You heard someone murmur form the crowd.

"This is...unexpected. Cadet (F/N) of the Scouting legion is the 'metallic titan shifter'." The judge said while blinking his eyes profusedly, not quite believing what he was seeing. "If that is so, then the Titan shifters will be placed under the care of the Scouting legion." The judge smacked his mallet (i think) making his decision definite.

"My apologies, cadet." Levi quickly untied you and helped you up. Once you stood up, Levi did the most unexpected and out of character thing...

He kissed you and embraced you. Your eyes widened and you tensed up but melted into it anyways. It felt like utopia...atleast for a few moments. Everyone's eyes became fixated on you and the atmosphere in the court suddenly became dense and...

Awkward.
