It was the week Rapunzel and her friends were coming back home to Corona, they would be home that day. Everyone else was getting the castle but Nigel had other plans for a certain alchemist as he made his way to where Varian was sleeping now that Varian was able to be in a guest room since he got sick being in the cell filled with mold and rats bit his body so he was rather sick. Luckily Xavier was able to cure his rat bites and gave him some potions for the sickness. The guards were away from the door and Nigel was able to sneak into the room and carry the boy into Remyus potion room luckily for Nigel the old man was in town getting more ingredients. Nigel cuffed Varian's hands and feet to a special table that is like a chair with cuffs on the bottom and top of the table sitting up. Varian woke up just as Nigel was looking around the room for a unused syringe and the perfect potion to use on Varian to punish him more. Varian tried to talk but his throat was sore due to the sickness. Varian watching Nigel as he struggles to get free but panicked when he heard Nigel saying "Ah ha found the perfect potion to use on you to get revenge for you ruining my life you brat! You will from now on will be a donkey for life so you can't' do anymore harm to anyone ever again Hahahaha!" Nigel fills the syringe full of the potion which was dark gray color on the bottle had a picture of a donkey on it. Varian started shouting for help before Nigel muffled him as he just started to scream loudly as Nigel then grabbed Varian's arm checking for a quick vein before quickly injected into Varian's body causing Varian to scream loudly just as the Captain of the guards, three other guards and Remyus rushed into the room grabbing Nigel as he dropped the syringe shattering it on the floor. As Nigel is pulled away he clawed his nails at Varian right eye leaving 3 red claw marks on it as Varian screamed in pain. Remyus and Captain of the guards rushed over cleaning the wound as Captain of the guards freed  Varian from the chair table as Varian collapsed into their arms crying and scared as Remyus found the bottle Nigel used shaking in shock knowing the boy's fate. Captain of the guards rushed Varian to his bedroom asking two other guards to run and get the King and Queen fast. King Frederic and Queen Arianna rushed into the bedroom out of breathe asking "What had happened to Varian?" King Frederic asks "Who harmed him like this!?" Captain of the guards explains "We heard screaming and loud talking coming from Remyus's potion room to find Varian cuffed in a experiment chair table as Nigel injected a potion into Varian's arm before we could stop him forgive us PLEASE? We sent Nigel to the dungeons for doing harm to a child and assaulted one of my guards. I'm sorry we couldn't stop him in time, I'm afraid whatever potion Nigel injected into Varian will do who knows what to him." Remyus rushed into the bedroom holding the bottle and a notebook with a pen. Remyus exclaiming "Oh my your Majesties I didn't know you were in here PLEASE excuse me." Remyus got past the King and Queen placing his supplies on a table next to Varian's bed where Varian lay sweat and breathing heavy while Captain of the guards was strapping his hands and feet to the bed to keep him front trying to hurt himself or anyone else in the room. Queen Arianna concerned asked "But why must he be strapped down like that? Hasn't he been punished enough?" Captain of the guards explains "I understand your upsetting see this but if what Remyus says is true about what potion Varian was injected with is capable of causing him to go into spasms as he undergoes the transformation!" Varian screams "What transformation are we talking about...isn't there a fast way to reverse it before it happens?!" Remyus explains "I'm afraid not, out of all my other animal potion I hadn't had the time to create a cure for this one potion! But I'm sure that my student Xavier maybe able to help during or after the transformation!" Varian screams "It hurts so much...cries..give me something for the pain at least PLEASE!?" Remyus exclaimed "Working on it right now!" Varian screams "Aaahhh! My ears are buzzing and feeling weird! Ow it hurts...groans!" Everyone watched in horror as they saw with their own eyes Varian's small ears were growing elongated 5.5 inches longer and tiny dark gray hairs were spreading throughout the whole length of the new ears and white hairs were growing on the inside of the ears along with a line of black hairs on the tops of the ears too. The group gasped in horror as they watching as Varian shouts asking "What's happening ahhhh..sobs!?" Varian's buck teeth and his other front teeth grew becoming 1 inch incisors and his other teeth become bigger molars. Varian groans as he feels something stretching long from his tailbone before he heard a loud RIP sound as he looked towards his crotch area to  see a 15 inches long donkey tail swinging from his tailbone area! Varian looked like he was going to throw up so both Remyus and Captain of the guards rushed over cutting off the cuffs before Remyus placed a metal bucket under Varian's face as he leaned over the edge of his bed aiming for the bucket just in time losing his lunch. Once Varian was done he looked pale as Remyus helped clean up Varian's face of any fluids around his donkey lips. Remyus finally gave Varian the pain medicine by injection and Queen Arianna helped remove the broken cuffs still wrapped around his wrists and ankles after they were cut off so he would feel better. Varian sat up asking "Moan....what's going on with me?" Remyus quickly gives Varian the pain curing medicine making  the pain disappear. Queen Arianna answered "We're not sure but we'll help you get through this and make a cure soon." Varian exclaimed "I feel hot all over my legs, arms, and chest area." Queen Arianna help Varian take his clothes off to reveal his entire body was covered head to toe with dark gray fur and white fur on his stomach. Varian started hyperventilating as he saw this as Queen Arianna whispered "Easy....easy just breathe slow deep breathing we'll get through this. There....there it's ok...breathe." Varian weeps as he screamed loudly as he and Queen Arianna watches his fingers close into fists then fused into black hooves as he waves them clawing at the air not being able to grip anything in what once was his hands! Varian then points to his feet as Queen Arianna helps remove Varian's shoes off to find his legs were now donkey legs and his feet were now also black hooves. King Frederic and the others cringed at the sight as Queen Arianna helped Varian stand off the bed he uttered "Why me?" Queen Arianna whispered "There.....there we'll cure you soon." Varian still had his head just with donkey nostrils where his nose used to be and donkey lips. His neck widened to fit his donkey body. Even as a donkey he could still speak for now suddenly a guard named Phil runs into the room exclaiming "Your Majesties...Captain it's Rapunzel and her friends are coming towards Corona in a hot air balloon right now! We must go greet them! Why is there a human donkey in the castle?" Varian in anger screamed "Are you kidding me!? Why did she have to come home now!? I'm doomed...sobs!" Queen Arianna tried to comforted Varian as she asked Maid Elizabeth for help to get some better clothes on Varian to disguise his donkey parts and placed a big wizard's hat over his donkey ears and striped hair. They did a great job including placing his gloves over his hooves and his boots on his feet. Queen Arianna and Elizabeth walks Varian into the throne room helping him sit down as they tell him not to worry they keep him safe. Queen Arianna walked out to join in seeing her daughter Rapunzel and her friends while Rudiger stayed with Varian who was shaking scared of being harmed any further. Varian told Rudiger to hide behind the curtain. Finally after 3 minutes everyone else walked into the throne room with Rapunzel and her friends next to the King and Queen. King Frederic explained "And to surprise you we have a special guest." Rapunzel and her friends looked up at the guest curious and they don't really recognize who it is. Rapunzel rushed forward excited grabbing the guests hand saying "I'm so happy to meet you my name's Rapunzel. PLEASE tell me your name?" Varian is quiet too scared to answer as Eugene and the others come over willing to meet the young man. Eugene speaks up exclaiming "Hi friend I understand if you're shy meeting a princess for the first time, I'm Eugene this is Lance." Lance says "Hey there!" Eugene continued "This is Cassandra." Cassandra asks "Hey there PLEASE call me Cass?" The young man stuttered "Hii....hi I'm Damian it's a pleasure to meet you all." Cassandra whispered to Eugene "I thought he was gonna say a name we all know." Eugene whispered "Relax Cass you don't want to scare him off do ya." Rapunzel confused asked "So Damian do you live far? Do you travel? What things do you like to do?" Varian cringed not looking at Rapunzel as Queen Arianna approached exclaiming "Maybe we shouldn't bug him to much he's had a scary time earlier today? Come let's sit and you can tell us about your adventures to the Dark Kingdom." Rapunzel nodded as she and her friends walked over to some chairs telling them all about what happened but as Rapunzel was finishing Max and Pascal noticed something under the curtain waving back and forth Max walks over to the curtain scaring Rudiger out of hiding as they both growled at each other. King Frederic and Queen Arianna tense up as Rapunzel and her friends stand up quickly recognizing the raccoon. Rapunzel exclaiming "That's Rudiger...wait then where's...?" Cassandra looks towards the guest who is shaking and sees his hair fall from his hat revealing his striped hair. Cassandra in anger rushed over to the guest grabbing hold of his hat yelling "Alright you I know who you are! Give me that hat!?" Varian with his hooves trying to hold onto his hat best he can screams "NOO...No..don't PLEASE!?" Rapunzel and her friends recognized that voice as they rush over just as Cassandra pulls the hat off causing both Damian and her to fall onto their backs. Rapunzel and her friends gasped in horror to see that Damian was actually Varian in disguise. As Rapunzel and her friends grabbed their weapons out Queen Arianna rushed over blocking them from getting near Varian as she screamed "That's enough all of you!?" Rapunzel in shock asks "Mom...Dad what are you doing defending Varian!? Did you forget what he's done!?" Varian falls to his side covering his donkey ears with his arms as he stands up but it was hard to stand on his hooves as he stumbles as he turns around to see Cassandra jump up landing in front of him grabbing his collar yelling "What are you hiding!? Show us you jerk!?" Varian sighed as he says "Ok." Cassandra stops struggling asks "Wait what did you say?" Varian exclaimed "I said ok I'll show you what I'm hiding." Cassandra letting go of Varian's arms stepping back as Rapunzel and the others rushed over readying their weapons as Varian sighed before he uncovered his head letting his donkey ears spring up making them gasp in horror at what they are seeing. Eugene walked over with Lance asking "What in the world?" Eugene grabs Varian's left donkey ear feeling it as Lance asks "Are these real?" Lance grabs Varian's right donkey ear feeling it too. Varian's nostrils blow steam out in anger causing the two men to cower behind Cassandra asks "What going on here Varian? What are you planning!?" Varian enraged screams "How can I possibly be planning anything if I'm sick as a dog and I've been attacked by your King's adviser Nigel injected me with a potion turning me into a donkey!?..breathing heavy!!" Everyone in the throne room gasped in horror at what Varian just said expecting King Frederic to punish him for that comment but instead King Frederic walks over and rubbed Varian's back to calm him down saying "Easy there relax that's it...just relax." Within a instead Varian breathes slowly as he falls on his butt and holding his head uttering "I'm sorry. May I go to my room please? I'm not feeling good." King Frederic nodded as Varian was about to leave when Rapunzel was about to walk over with a angry look on her face gripping her frying pan tight in her hands as she was about to stomp towards him when Queen Arianna stood between them as Varian left with Rudiger on his shoulder. Captain of the guards walked into the room as Cassandra yells "Dad why aren't you arrested him he's supposed to be in jail!?" Captain of the guards with anger on his face marches over towards the group explaining "Look Cassandra the young man has been through enough! I had to rescue him from Nigel a little while ago from harming Varian any further! Plus he has been very sick do to the conditions in his cell so we had to move him to a guestroom from now on til he's better! Xavier has offered to give him a job working with him at the blacksmith's booth! So leave him be!?" Cassandra enraged asks "How do I know you aren't covering for him and how do we know his donkey ears are even real!?" Eugene and Lance interrupt Eugene saying "Actually Cass those ears we felt were very real!" Lance exclaimed "Yep the fur on those ears were the real deal." Cassandra wasn't convinced so she looked at Rapunzel who nodded using her hair like a whip towards Varian wrapped around his waist thrusting him back them crashing him on his butt hard making him yell "Ouch haaaw haaaw ow Haw Hee Haw! What do you all want now!?" Varian turns towards the group seeing them covering their ears due to him braying in pain. Rapunzel drags him closer to them before Cassandra points her sword at his face asking "I don't believe you are really becoming a donkey! Let me see this fur for real! We'll see whither you are tricking us!" Cassandra grabbed a small amount of Varian's donkey fur and pulled it off his chest making him scream in pain! Varian sat on the floor crying his eyes out as Cassandra looked in shock as she looked at him and the bit of fur she had in her hand. Rapunzel rushed over studying the fur before gasping in shock as she released as her hair around Varian released him. Varian was being comforted by Queen Arianna she was rubbing his back as he had his hands up to his eyes crying his eyes out. King Frederic with a mad look on his face walked over to them asking "I would like you all to go with Captain to the dungeons to hear the truth? Then go to the Rapunzel's room and wait there for us?" Rapunzel looks sad at her parents as she nods as she and her friends followed Captain to the dungeons as they watched Varian go back to his room with Rudiger. The guards outside Varian's door making sure his door was locked so Varian would  be safe. Varian was so tired as he did his best to get out of his clothes and got into bed covers himself as he uttered "Man what a day. Sorry about all the craziness today Rudiger. Let's try to get some sleep. Yawned goodnight Rudiger." Varian closed his eyes as he fell into a deep sleep snoring as he slept through the night. Meanwhile in the dungeons Rapunzel and her friends were walked over to a cell with Captain who lite the cell with his flaming torch to reveal Nigel himself sitting on the ground cuffed to the wall. Nigel slowly looked up at them smiling as he saw who it was before. Captain asked "Tell them you BASTARD what you did to the boy!?" Nigel laughed manically startling everyone as he uttered "Yesss I was the one trying to turn that traitor into the jackass he should be!? Laughing manically!!" Next morning a tired and hungry Varian woke up yawning stretching his arms and legs as he slowly got up out of bed trying his best to stand on his back hooves. Varian walked over to his dresser mirror as he brushed his hair before opening his eyes gasping in horror to see a horrorify discovery. Varian screamed as he saw his face had a short donkey muzzle, dark gray fur covering his face, the back of his hair ran down his neck reaching past his shoulder blades and a set of white rings around each of his eyes. His eyes were still the same and his buck teeth had grown an inch longer. The worst thing was his private parts were bigger than before and his manhood had gone into a penile sheath covering it!  Rapunzel knocks on the door asking "Varian what's going on!? Are you doing alright!?" Varian sighed saying "No not really!" Rapunzel tried to open the door but it was locked as she asked Eugene to use his technique to pick the lock and the door opened. They looked around the room until they saw a figure hiding behind the curtain with a donkey tail waving below it. Rapunzel smiled as she walked over to open the curtain but Varian waved his hooves at her asking "Nooo no PLEASE don't look at me!? I look more awful than yesterday!" Eugene leaned against the wall next to Varian exclaiming "Look kid there's nothing to be afraid to show us. But if it's embarrassing you can just whisper it to me?" Varian sighed rubbing the back of his head as he waved over Eugene as he whispered into his ear making Eugene face go very red. Rapunzel asked "What is the matter?" Eugene uttered "Uuhhh! You don't want to know trust me Sunshine." Rapunzel stepped back respectfully as Eugene helped Varian get into his clothes, once they were done they walked out to show Rapunzel how Varian's face looked. Rapunzel gasped as she stroking Varian's hairy donkey cheek while he tried to smile a big buck toothy grin.
