Today's Headlines in Bradford's Telegraph and Argus

A Dead found behind Hotel Red Rosalia.

On April 24, 2015 around 4:00 pm, Police officers in Keighley, Bradford discovered the body of 36-year-old Ninian Davies. He had been murdered behind hotel Red Rosalia. The only clue regarding this murder is the number 9 encrypted by a pointed weapon on victim's forehead. Inspector Kayne Johnston has been put in charge of this case, as heard by him this case shall be solved soon as the suspect himself has left a clue. The body of Ninian have been sent for post-mortem. Mr. Kayne Johnston believes that the report will surely give a clue to get closer to the culprit.

Besides these what shall be the reason for this murder is still a mystery. As information collected about Ninian, proves him to be an innocent. He works as a servant at Hotel Red Rosalia. He's found to be sincere and hardworking regarding his job. Even his family members couldn't find any reason for him to get murdered by someone.

A murder? I see....

This is a murder case I'm reading here after a long time.

There's nothing of my interest except that number 9.

Whatever.....

"Excuse me, Mr. Kayne. The post-mortem reports are already here."

"Place them on my desk."

As Mr. Kayne had a look through the report, he couldn't actually find any clue that could help him find the suspect.

It was clearly stated that Ninian was hit badly on his head, the crack on the skull was markable. The shock due to this has caused his death.

"I guess I have to look over the case reports again. Hufff "

"Cedric, bring Ninian's case file to my cabin immediately."

Why will someone murder a guy like Ninian? And what does that number 9 indicate? Why will a suspect leave clues on his own? Is he trying to get popular or something? Or is he trying to fool us by diverting to somewhere else?

As thoughts popped one after the other in Mr. Kayne's mind there was a knock on the door.

"Come in."

"Mr. Kayne. I have something for you. Hope this will help you with your case."

"Mr. Rei! What is it?"

Mr. Rei is a higher official of the police commission. He hands Mr. Kayne a brown envelope which contains an important clue regarding Ninian's murder.

As he opened the envelope he could find a hair sample and a report.

"Mr. Rei is this?"

"Yes, it is."

"But as much I remember we didn't notice any hair sample near victim's body."

"That's too pity for an officer like you. You should be a good enough observant."

"So what did you find from this?"

"Why don't you check the report yourself?"

As he went through the report, the owner of the hair sample was found to be none other than Mr. Len Rodriguez.

Mr. Len Rodriguez is the owner of Hotel Red Rosalia. He's well known for his brand Rosette which is popular in Bradford. He runs many fields under this brand name like cosmetics, fabrics, cold drinks, etc. He's also an ambassador for Bradford's baseball team. He's known to be one of the richest Business magnets here in Bradford.

"So did that help you to solve your case?"

"Absolutely not."

"May I know what made you say that Mr. Kayne."

"It's totally impossible."

"Reason?"

"First, there's no need for him to kill a servant of his own Hotel.

Second, there's no way he could have killed Ninian behind his own Hotel. No one will wish to spoil their own reputation.

Third, He's out of thestation from past 4 days.

So are these reasons enough?"

"Is that so? Then how come we got his hair sample on victim's body? "

"A good question rather a hard one to answer. But it's not too long when I'll find and place the answer in front of you."

"Ok then. You're the in charge and the case's on your shoulder so I'll leave now."

The door closes as Mr. Rei leaves Mr. Kayne all alone with his thoughts again. He gets a cigarette out of his pocket and starts smoking. Theories over theories come to his mind with each smoke he leaves out.

Wait a second! There's something fishy about the hair sample. If Mr. Rodriguez is out of the station from past 4 days then the only reason for his hair sample to be found there is either the suspect has purposely got that hair sample to divert the case towards Mr. Rodriguez or one of Mr. Rodriguez' family member must be involved in this case. Though both the possibilities prove to be equally applicable so then the further investigations will revolve around these two aspects. As per my intuitions, it's better to start the investigation from the second possibility. Since the elimination of misleading theories can end up with the theory that can give us the actual answer. )

With that, he drops his cigarette in the ashtray and leaves the cabin with his cap on.

Along with some policemen to assist him he reaches Mr. Len Rodriguez' home. Though the house actually looks like huge villa yet has its own simplicity of architecture. Since he's a huge business magnet there were many security guards, Bull-dogs and some hounds all around the villa.

As Mr. Kayne entered he was warmly welcomed by Mr. Rodriguez' wife.

"Well, Mr. Kayne would you like to have some coffee or some drinks?" Asked Mrs. Rodriguez.

"No thanks. Well, I'm here for an investigation Ma'am. It'll be helpful if you cooperate with us."

"Investigation? I guess I'll faint now." Says Mrs. Rodriguez in a dramatic way.

"Can you call all your family members here? It's important for all of them to be present here."

As asked by Mr. Kayne all the family members were present in the hall except the son of Mr. Rodriguez.

Investigations were carried out separately with each member, though couldn't actually reach any conclusions from them. All the members proved to be innocent by their statements.

"Well, I'm done with my investigations, thanks for your cooperation. Ask your son to be present tomorrow in our office, I would like to have some words with him too."

I guess this theory's going to be eliminated soon. One more person to be investigated.)

Next day...April 26, 2015

It's almost 10:00 am. There was no sign of anyone moving in or out of the office. Mr. Kayne was going through his previous files to find a similar case. When someone appeared at his doors.

"Excuse me, Mr. Kayne."

"Cedric?"

"Someone's here to meet you, sir."

It should be the son of Mr. Rodriguez.

"Ask the person to come in."

"Excuse me in." A shivering voice of a lady echoed slowly through the room.

"I'm Mrs. Davies, wife of Ninian. I'm here to tell you something important I found yesterday in his room."

"What's that?"

"Here." She handed few papers assembled in a file to Mr. Kayne.

As he went through them, "These are.....! This is something of my use. Thank you, Mrs. Davies."

Looks like theories I thought of aren't waste. I'm getting closer to the culprit. But I expected someone else to be here by now.

"Cedric, give a call to Mrs. Rodriguez asking her son to be present here by 12:00 noon."

He placed the file given by Mrs. Davies in his locker and again started to go through some cases loaded on his computer.

It was already 12:30 yet there was no sign of Mr. Rodriguez' son.

"Hmph" a smile

"Hmph" another smile but an evil one.
