(Y/N) POV
I jumped up out of bed cause of music being played in my ears. I look grumpily at the laughing boy beside me. "Morning!" He squeaked and I crossed my arms. "Really?" "What? If I let you sleep in, you'll miss your own birthday!" He said and smiled. "Maybe that's what I want to do." I said and he pulled the blanket off of me. "Hey!" I said and he picked me up bridal style. He carried me to the bathroom and dropped me in a tub. "Get ready, today is going to be fun!" He said and left. I crossed my arms but gave in and turned on the water.
~Time Skip~
I walk out of the bathroom with my hair in a bun and a black and pink dress (above). I walk downstairs and see Lui made me Pancakes with whip cream and strawberries. He pulled out the seat for me and poured me orange juice. "You're not gonna be lazy this birthday!" He said and I rolled my eyes, smiling. "What's so special about this birthday than the others?" I ask and he kisses my lips. "You'll find out." He said and I finished my pancakes. He grabbed my hand and led me to the car. "Now where are we going?" I ask and he just puts me in the front seat. "You'll find out." He said and I rolled my eyes, this boy. But I love him.
~Time Skip~
He brought me to the movies, the amusement park, a fast food restaurant, and now the beach. So far it was the best Birthday ever. Lui held my hand as we walked along the shore. The moment was ruined by someone ripping out hands apart. "Lui!" A all to familiar girl yelled. I looked at Mae as she hugged Lui. "Mae? What're you doing here?" "Lui, I want to get back with you." She said and I gasped. Lui was surprised, he didn't know what to say. Lui didn't like hurting people's feelings but he wanted what was best for him and everyone. "I'm sorry Mae. But I don't want to get back with you." He said and she nodded sadly. "Then let me do something.." She said and he nodded. She turned to me and pulled out a cute little wrapped box from her pocket. "Happy birthday (Y/N)." She said and I opened it. It was a long diamond necklace with a diamond heart at the end. I smiled and she put it on me, and gave me a hug. She waved goodbye and I smiled, "She's going to be my best friend, I can tell." I said and Lui nodded. He intertwined our fingers again and kissed my hand. "(Y/N)..." He said and I turned to him. He tucked a lose hair behind  my ear and smiled. "I loved you since the day Evan introduced you to us. Your smile, your laugh, and your personality made me feel complete. And when you said you loved  me too about 3 years ago, I felt so happy. And all the memories I made with you, good or bad, they were all amazing if they were with you." He said and got on one knee. "(Y/N)?" He asked and I'm basically crying at this point. "Y-Yeah?" I choke out and her pulls out a dark blue box. "Will you marry me?" He asked and opens the box that revealed a beautiful engagement ring. "Yes!!" I said and held out my hand. He slid the ring on my ring finger and pulled me in for a kiss. We pulled away and put our foreheads together. "I love you, happy birthday babe." He said and I smiled as tears rolled down my face. "I love you too, thank you." I said as he wiped my tears. I'm glad I didn't stay in bed this morning.
