Taehyung bit his lip as he struggled to focus on not shaking his graphite pencil, glancing back and forth between the young man across from him and the sketch pad in his own lap.
The other was looking away from him, at the sky, almost as if he was lost in thought.
Taehyung placed the side of the pencil between his lips and rubbed his fingertips over the sharp angle of the mysterious man's jawline on the paper; he had drawn the angle much too sharp.
He wanted him to look real, no matter how fictional- ethereal- he appeared to him in this moment.
The soft breeze that lifted Taehyung's hair as it swept through brushed against the young man's face and he closed his eyes, a small smile finding its way to his lips.
The other boy's eyes widened and he took his pencil back into his hand, telling the muse softly not to move even an inch.
The boy knew what he was doing, he had always known.
At first he thought it was a bit creepy, but then he'd sometimes watch while he drew him.
Sitting here now, he turned his head against his wishes to gaze at the black smudges of graphite smearing across his cheek.
When he turned to face him, he growled and narrowed his eyes at him.
"I asked you not to move!" he pouted, smacking his own forehead with the hand that had been holding his pencil, leaving another black smudge standing proud against his tanned skin.
The boy nodded, running his tongue over his lips before he opened his mouth and asked, "Why do you love drawing me so much?"
He simply gazed at him, smoothing his paper out and tracing more lines over it without looking down. "Because you're beautiful," he whispered.
