Little fish in a big pond

Why do you not respond in grace?

Under what authority do you swim at your own will?

Why, if you can travel the world,

do you stay rooted at one point?

The little fish swam in circles by my feet

A fish so in love with its water

It chooses to stay

And when I come again at the end of my long life

Here I will find you still
