"it's you Natsu! Amaya is your daughter!" levy smiled at me.

I felt my heart stop.

"What did you just say?" I asked.

"You're Amaya's dad!"

"Levy I think Id know if I had a daughter..."I told her.

I tied to wrap my mind around what Levy had just said. If im Amaya's dad then that means at some point in time I had to have had sexual relations with Lucy.

Im pretty damn sure Id remember something like that. I mean really. You remember those kind of things right?

Like your first kiss...who you lose your virginity to.

But I had no memory of doing that with anyone. Let alone Lucy. She'd probably kill me if she knew I got her pregnant.

"Natsu, are you okay?" Levy asked.

I looked up at her. "Yeah, I just...can't really process this."

I glanced over at Amaya. A beautiful little girl. Strawberry blonde hair and dark brown eyes. A perfect smile to tie it all up.

Funny thing is. A parent was supposed to name her, since Lucy was in a coma when she was born I named her. I just so happened to be her parent.

"I know, it must be strange. You spent three years with Amaya and you never knew that she was your daughter. But Wendy and I ran the tests. We aren't lying to you." Levy smiled at me as our eyes met again.

"Thank you for telling me. Amaya needed a father. Now I'm gonna make up for the time she didn't have one." I said getting up.

"Good. She'll like that." Levy added before standing.

"Amaya! Why don't you come here, I'm gonna take you out to lunch!" I yelled loud enough for her to hear me.

Amaya was very obedient. She came instantly to my side. Her grin was as wide as ever as she took my hand.

"Natsu, can we have sea food?" She asked.

This would be my first meal with her as her father. Id give her anything she wanted.

"Of course! I know just the place." I pulled her along the road.

We walked for several minutes through Magnolia. Searching for the sea food shop that I had seen.

It didn't take much longer before we stood right in front of it. It was a new restaurant in town I hadn't tried yet.

I took her in and we sat down at a table. Waiting for the waiter to see us and take our orders.

"Natsu...when we get back to Fairy Tail, can we go see Lucy. I have some money and I want to buy her a flower!" Amaya smiled at me.

I felt a smile form on my face once again. She was only three, yet the kindness in her heart riviled Lucy's.

"Yes we can..That's a great idea." I said.

After Lunch was over, on the way back to the guild.

Amaya had picked out a beautiful flower for Lucy as we past a few shops on the way back to the guild.

 She was silent most of the time, but the smile on her face kept me from saying a thing to her. 

She didn't know of Lucy being awake yet. I was always there when Amaya went in to see Lucy.

She would talk to her about what the guild was doing, and how Levy has taught her new words. It was quite adorable.

We reached the guild and Levy seemed to be waiting for us at the doors.

"Ah good you are back. Natsu, master would like to speak to you immediately." She said calmly.

"I promised Id take Amaya in to see Lucy." I replied.

"I can take her for you." Levy suggested.

"Absolutely not, you know only I take Amaya." I frowned.

"Okay...but you have to see Master first." She said.

I looked down at Amaya. "Can you sit with Levy in the guild while I talk to Master? I promise to take you in when I finish."

"Okay." Amaya sounded sad, maybe disappointed.

But I tried to brush it off as I walked past her and Levy to where the Master was in the second floor. I saw him standing near the wall. Not sure of what he was doing there.

"You wanted to see me, Master?" I asked, getting his attention as he turned around.

"Ah yes, Natsu. Its about Lucy and Amaya." He replied.

"What about them?"

"As the father of Amaya, you have to make a choice. Amaya IS Lucy's child. But seeing as the current state of Lucy and her loss of memory, we need to figure out if we will tell the two about each other." Master spoke.

"What do you mean? Of course they need to know. Lucy is her mother, wouldn't you want to know if you had a child you didn't know about?!" I asked, being slightly offended.

"Yes but Natsu that isn't the point. After all the Lucy has been told, about who she is, us, and the guild. She doesn't remember any of it. It may be the wrong decision telling her she had a daughter before she is ready." Master said.

 I nodded. Though I didn't completely understand. It came from the Master and if anyone knows what hes talking about...its him.

"Alright. Ill keep it quiet for now, but if I feel the need. I'm going to say something." I said before walking out.

I walked down the steps and straight to Amaya. She was sitting with Levy just like I asked her. Amaya was drinking some milk.

"Amaya, you ready?" I asked.

"Yeah!" She grinned at me before running straight down to the infirmary. 

I followed her into the room that Lucy was. When I walked in I saw her in the same place that she was yesterday.

She looked uncomfortable when I stepped through the door.

"Natsu..you didn't tell me Lucy was awake." Amaya smiled.

"It was a surprise hunny." I smiled back.

Amaya run to Lucy's side and smiled. Lucy looked down at the child that stood in front of her. Lucy's eyes showed hints of sadness that were very subtle. It looked as if she really wanted to recognize her. But there was no way she'd know who Amaya was. Considering shed never actually seen before.

"Its okay Lucy. I wouldn't expect you to remember her." I said, coming over to her and sitting down.

"Why not?" She looked over at me.

"Because she was born while you were asleep. You've never met her before. Lucy...this is Amaya." I spoke.

"Its nice to meet you, Amaya." She smiled down at the little girl.

Amaya grinned at Lucy, her big brown eyes looked so joyful.

"Ive never seen you awake before!" Amaya said.

"Im sorry i wasn't able to meet you sooner, hunny." Lucy said, sweetly.

I watched the two of them talk, the only thing that crossed my mind was the fact that they were Mother and Daughter. They don't even know that they are family.

Then it struck me. Sitting in this room was a complete family. The family I had always wanted. Lucy, the Mother. Amaya, the Daughter. And me...the...the Father.
