Sky's P.O.V
I open my eyes, seeing a room. I sit up slightly, this is Ian's, Jerome's, and Quentin's place. I lay back down on the couch on my back. KK is sleeping on the other couch in this room. I stare at the ceiling. My memories...they are coming back but all I heard are voices in my head. No faces, no anything. And what I usually get is info that I feel like I don't want to know. Like some useless recipe for a potion. I want more then that. I don't want to remind a empty shell of lies.

But that's the crowning jewel.

Brine..oh no. I look over at KK. I can't just leave her alone, but I can't be near any of them when Brine is out. I get off the couch and collapse to my knees instantly.

But I want to play with your new friends Sky.

I clench my fists putting them on the floor. I can feel him trying to take control of me. I never said all of my new memories were useless. I did get some advice of controlling Brine. But they never call me anything. I squeeze my eyes shut and take a few deep breaths. The key to keeping him caged is relaxing and focusing. I always panic whenever he tries to take control.

You can't cage me Sky. I'm a part of you. I'm you.

That's not who I really am though.

"S-Sky?" A voice asked. I feel hands on my shoulders. "Is he trying to take over again?" It's Kyra. "Bury him down. Don't let him take control." I feel her arms wrap around me.

You can't bury me forever. Your new friends are a problem. I was okay with the girl since she did nothing, but your new friends are threatening to me.

He's starting to take control! No. Not here.

"I need to go." I said. I get out of Kyra's arms and leave the house. I run away and hear my name being called.

I will not allow you to remember who you were Sky.
Ty's P.O.V
I see the girls coming. I lean my head back and look at the sky. Ellie sits next to me.

"Where's Seto?" Asada asks.

"Inside, asleep." I said. Asada goes inside.

"Did you really mean it when you said you were done with being a Guardian?" Farla asks. I look at her.

"I'm surprise you even care Farla." I said. She gets a confused expression on her face.

"Umm..what? I always cared Ty." She said. I look at the sky again.

"Yeah right." I said quietly.

"What's wrong with you?" Farla asks. It actually sounds like she cares, when she doesn't. It's an angel thing. They only tend to care about certain people. Others are completely invisible to them and I'm always in that category. Jason moves a little. My eyes look down at him.

"Jason woke up by the way." I said.

"He did?" Farla asks sounding happy. She kneels down next to him. Jason's eyes open. I feel Ellie's hand move on my arm. Mitch comes outside and stares off into the distance.

"Ty..you said you wouldn't let Brine hurt me right?" Mitch asks. I look at Mitch.

"Is he near?" I ask. Mitch nods. I stand up.

"Your not gonna let him touch me, right?" Mitch asks.

"Ellie go inside." I said. Ellie nods and goes inside.

"Ty?" Mitch asks. I look at Mitch. I grin and he takes a step away from me.

"You're the bait, remember?" I ask. Mitch nods a little. I look out in front of us. I have this bad feeling. I take a few steps out and look around. It's nighttime, so Brine shouldn't be hard to spot. My eyes stop at a group of trees. My wings unfold and I stare dead at them. "Get inside you two." Farla stands up.

"Why?" She asks.

"Now!" I said. They go inside. "I know your there. Come out."

"I never would have expected to see you Ender." It said. I walk towards the trees but stop once he comes out. I look at his white eyes. I clench my fist a little. "But we're all in for a shock."

"Snap out of it. Come on man. Three centuries and Brine still has control over you? Come on." I said. He suddenly jumps towards me. I grab his wrists and turn around. My hands glows a faint purple along with my eyes. My claws and fangs grow back in. I grin. "Don't make me do something to you I'll regret, Adam."

"Adam's dead." Brine said. I grip his wrists tighter.

"Your lying." I said. Brine smirks.

"Adam's not controlling me anymore. So I'm in full control while he is lost...forever." Brine said. What? "You understand now Ty?" I let go of his wrists, staring at him. Brine grins. "He doesn't care about you, he never did." He's lying. I know he is. I look away from Brine. Adam was...He...Brine is getting into my head! I look at Brine right as he hits me with a spell. I fall backwards. "Where's that rage I want to see? Where's the real side of you Ender?"

I move back, away from him. That side is in chains, where he belongs. I stand back up and Brine hits me with another spell.

"Poor, pathetic Ty. Always needs help. Can't take care of himself." Brine said. I look at Brine. He looks just like Adam. Sounds just like him. But inside, it's not him anymore. He's replaced by a monster.

Kill him. It's the only way Ty.

My claws grow out and I narrow my eyes at Brine.

Kill Brine before he kills them. It's the only way.
Farla's P.O.V
It's been real quiet. Seto is awake and I sit down at the kitchen. I look at the door. What's happening out there? Someone gasps.

"Farla!" Asada yelled. I get up and run to the living room. Seto is on the ground gripping his arm and Asada is down next to him. "It's growing. What's happening? Ty just redid the spell minutes ago." Mitch and Ellie come in the room.

"Move." I said. She does and I go down next to her. I move Seto's shirt and look at his face. "Seto. Seto. Can you hear me?" His eyes are shut. Wait a second. Back at the Aether we found out Ty's endermagic wears off if...I gasp. Asada looks at me.

"What's wrong?" She asks.

"Be on your guard. All of you." I said. I stand up. My staff forms in my hands. "I'm so sorry to involve all of you. But right now, if you see Ty. It's not him."

"What do you mean by that?" Mitch asks.

"I'm going outside to protect Jason. Ellie, can you teleport Seto away with you?" I ask. Ellie shakes her head.

"Ty hasn't taught me that yet. About what you said, does that mean...he's in control?" She asks. I stare at Ellie for a few seconds. That's it. She knows Ty. I grab her wrist. I pull her away from the others.

"Has he turned around you before?" I ask. Ellie nods.

"He hates it. He changes into a completely different person. Is that what is happening?" She asks. I nod again.

"Ty's endermagic is basically shut down. That's why the curse is growing on Seto again since Ty's magic is gone. You got to get him back under control, before Seto dies." I said. Ellie looks around.

"I..I..I don't know what to do. Whenever Ty turns, he flies anyway from me and is gone for days. I don't know how to get him back to himself." Ellie said. I grab her arms.

"Ellie you don't have to do anything. It's you that he'll turn back to himself. He cares about you. He protects you. He doesn't want to lose you. You've been there for him for who knows how long. I finally get what he was talking about before this. You showed that you cared about him, we never showed that. Adam did, but the rest of us didn't. If Adam doesn't get Ty back to himself, you certainly will." I said. Ellie stares at me for a few seconds.

"I-I'll try." Ellie said.

"Please hurry. Seto's running out of time." I said letting go of her. She nods and runs outside.

Ellie's P.O.V
I have been following the line of fallen trees and the sounds of a battle. I figured he must be there. I can see claw marks in trees. I look around. I stop. What am I doing? Teleportation.duh. I close my eyes.

"Ty." I said. I open my eyes and see Ty. I gasp and take a few steps back. His wings, his eyes, he's different! "TY!" Ty looks over at me. A guy appears a few feet away from Ty. I look at them. That must be Brine. I take a few steps towards Ty. "Come on, let's go home." I slowly put my hand out towards him. I feel like I'm gonna burst into tears. This is my fault. He didn't want to stay here but I just had to talk him into it. "Please Ty. This isn't you. Where's my Ty?" He turns towards me. Tears start coming down my face.

"Pathetic." Brine said.

"Please. Seto's gonna die. You got to control yourself so your magic reappears for him. I know you don't want Seto to die." I said. Ty grabs my arm and then grabs my throat. I grab his arm. Ty leans towards me and his face stops inches from mine. I stare into his black dragon eyes.

"Ty's gone...forever." He said.
