A while ago, someone had asked me for an office romance. I forgot who and since it was a comment request, I cannot even trace it back but here is a bonus chapter for all you precious people.

A week post their return from their Christmas honeymoon, Vani were basically inseparable. With no misunderstandings plaguing their beautiful relationship, they were going strong and were happy. The entire family was glad to see their two members so in love.

However, now that the trip was over, Veer's work was catching up to him. He had taken a long and sudden break to accommodate the trip so he had a lot of pending work. To top it all off, they both also had duties for their realms that were pending as well. Bani would spend hours at the nag temple and help her fellow clan mates and resolve pending issues. She also personally trained the special naagin force in the naglok's army. Veernashu, being the Cheel prince also had a lot of duties. He had to to resolve issues. Usually, this wouldn't be this time consuming but due to the break, work had piled up. There was also Shakura's hearing. He was powerful but having wronged the future king, he dug up his own grave. But, all of this meant loads of paperwork which kept them busy. Vani still made time for each other but missed being around each other 24*7.

Today, it was fine morning. Bani groaned and woke up, rubbing her eyes and noticed Veer was not there. She got ready and came downstairs to see him at the breakfast table. He was talking to Tapish.

V: haan bhai, all my princely duties are done for now...bs abhi thoda Mercury ke paperwork dekhne hai...ye week thoda busy tha but most things are on track.

He noticed Bani come and rose to pull her a chair. He pecked her head.

V: Good morning gharwali!..had a nice sleep? Kl mandir se aate aate late ho gaya tha na?

B: good morning!..good morning bhai..haan thoda late to ho gaya tha...but last case tha so I thought to wrap up..waise where are the rest?

T: Good morning Bani, Meera kitchen me hai..

V: Chachu office gaye hai and vo dono college chale gaye...aaj viva hai un dono ka..

B: okay...let me help Meera di..

M: Koi zarurat nahi hai...ho gaya kaam..baith, saath me breakfast krte hai..

They began to eat. Bani's breath hitched when she noticed that Veer casually held her hand under the table. She smiled slightly.

T: Veer tu left haath se kyu kha raha hai?

V: oh? Dhyan nahi gaya...koi na..

M: Bani ka bhi to haath nahi dikh raha..

Bani blushes and quickly places her hand on the table.

B: kuch bhi di..mai toh right se kha rahi hoon..and left ye raha...rest your mind.

Meera chuckled.

V: (leans in and whispers) haath toh chuda liya pr khudko kaise bachaogi?

Bani wanted to asked him what he meant when she noticed that now he placed the hand at her waist. He was trailing her bare waist and circling her navel. Bani gulped as she started to feel hot. It had been a few days since she felt her husband's touch and after their wild honeymoon, she felt deprived if she didn't get to feel him every day.

Veer knew this and smirked. He trailed down and placed a hand on her thighs. He tried to grab at her core but her saare was hindering. He was about to lower her saree from her waist when his phone rang.

V: what?

Somebody spoke on the other end.

V: Investors ki meeting post lunch thi na? Post breakfast kisne rakhi?....what? kisse pooch kr?...I am coming but this better be your last goof up!

He shut the phone.

V: sorry bhai!...I need to go, it is urgent. See you later, bani (pecks her head)

Bani was feeling hot and bothered. She pouted sadly.

M: arey sad kyu ho rahi hai..ye soch kr khush ho jaa ki lunch ke baad nahi hogi meeting to you both can spend the evening together.

Bani looked at Tapish who made a few calls and confirmed that veer's schedule is clear. She smirked and made a plan to get back at her husband for leaving her bothered.

Bani reached the office and was greeted by Veer's assistant. She reconfirmed that Veer has nothing planned.

A: Ma'am, aaj to sir se ulta half day lene ka plan kiya hai. So that he good spend a day with you. Meeting me jaane se pehle mujhe aap dono ke lunch ki booking krne ka kaha tha..

Bani showed her a large tiffin bag.

B: well, don't book. I have it all covered. No interruptions post Veeranshu comes out of his meeting though, okay?

A: yes ma'am, she left.

Bani reached his cabin and kept the food at the table. She set the plates but left the food in the boxes so that it stays warm. She went to his attached washroom and changed her clothes.

She was wearing a crisp white shirt with top two buttons open, showing a hint of her cleavage and a tight red, pencil skirt. She was in the most inappropriate formal attire for an office. She sat comfortably in Veer's chair and checked the time. Redoing her red lipstick, she though if the ways she is going to punish her husband.

Veeranshu walked towards his cabin. Glad that his meeting was over. Now, he just has to keep these files on the table and leave.

V: Rajesh!...table confirmed?

R: um...no sir..

V: why?...did you tell them it was for me?

R: sir vo...vo...sir aap cabin me jaiye na..

V: no need. You keep these files in it and revise the remaining files. I want the notes tomorrow.

R: Sir, okay...files aap rakh dijiye please.

V: (nose flares) what is wrong with you today?

Rajesh gulped and quickly ran away. Veer was stunned by his odd behaviour and walked angrily towards his cabin.

The sight that greeted him made him even more angry!
