Bani woke up with a jerk and removed the airpods from her ear. She took deep breaths, and calmed down after few seconds. Then, she looked at the airpods shocked. How did it come in her ears?!!..Veeranshu?..

~Flashback~
~~Yesterday night, after Bani had slept, Veer came into her room. He saw her sleeping, and went towards her. He carefully put the airpods in her ears and then went back to his room. The airpods were already connected to Veer's mobile, and he had already set an alarm at 7 am with the song "Paagal"~~

Bani exhaled being frustrated, and rushed into his room. He was sleeping peacefully after disturbing her sleep. Bani took the shaving foam from his dressing table, and poured it on his palm, and then blew some air on his face.
Veer put his hand on his mouth, and the shaving foam covered his face making him wake up from the sleep. He sat up and looked at his hand, and then at Bani who was laughing uncontrollably.

V: *angry* Tumne kiya aisa?! Kyuu??..

B: *with attitude* Haaa maine kiya.. kyunki "Ye ladki paagal hai, paagal hai, paagal hai, paagal hai" *singing*

Bani fake smiled at him and went out.

Veer looked on, and thought, "Plan 5- success and abort.."

At the breakfast table, Bani informed Veeranshu about her whole day plan.

B: Veeranshu, maine lunch already bana diya hai... Main kuch der mein nikal jaungi, aur lunch ke pehle aa jaungi..

V: *confused* Tum Sunday ko bhi office jaati ho??!...

B: Whatt??... Nooo... Kahin aur jaati hoon... I will come before lunch...

V: Ohh..okk... (Iss time mein kuch aur plan bhi bana lunga main)....

Bani smiled and went to get ready.

Bani went first to the ANGEL'S HOME, met all the children and distributed sweets among them, as they demanded from her before her marriage.
After that she went to HAIL AND HEARTY and took everyone's blessings. Everyone asked her why she didn't bring her husband, but she lied to them that he was busy with some official works. Bani was talking with them, when her phone rang. The caller ID showed Mr. Akdu👿. She picked up the call irritated.

B: Kya hai?...

V: Arree, maine tumhe pehli bar call kiya... Tumhari kitni khush kismati hai... Tumhe khush hona chahiye, aur tum irritated ho rahi ho?!...

B: *fake happy* Ji Veeranshu ji, boliye main aapki kya sahayta kar sakti hoon??...

V: *rolling his eyes at her drama* Wo, yaha ek bohot bara musibat hogaya hai... Tap kharab hogaya hai mere room ka... Rukne ka naam hi nahi le raha hai... Pura ghar paani paani ho rakha hain..

B: To main kya karu?!.. Main plumber hoon kya??!...

V: Arre kitna sawal karti ho yaar tum.. Tum jaldi ghar aao bas... Bye..

B: A-aare.. Call bhi kaat diya, urghhh...

Bani hurriedly bid bye to everyone and left for home.

Bani drove faster and reached home. She came out of the car and was going to enter the house when she banged with something. She looked at her front, but there was nothing!!.. She again tried to enter and again banged.

Veeranshu came from inside, laughing hard. He came to her and removed the transparent tapes from the door. Bani understood. She pushed Veeranshu and entered the house. Veer continued laughing.

Bani directly went into the kitchen, served lunch in two plates, and brought the plates to the dining hall. She kept Veeranshu's plate on the table with a bang, gave him a look, and went upstairs with her plate.

V: Ise kya hogaya?!... Bura mangayi hogi... Chhoro, mujhe kya, mera kaam to ho gaya.... Plan 6- success...
Saying this, he sat to eat.

Bani, on the other side, went to her room and locked the door. She kept the plate on her study table, and sat on the bed. She had plans to meet Dheeraj and Shraddha once before returning home, but Veeranshu ruined it. She sighed sadly and went to change before eating.

The whole evening, Bani was in her room having a  videochat with DD and Shrads. She felt fresh after talking to them. She cut the call after talking for about two hours, and then decided to have a self-pampering session.

Veeranshu had plans ready to disturb Bani, but was not getting to execute them as Bani was in her room. He was getting impatient by each passing second. Finally, unable to control anymore, he decided to go to her room.
He entered her room to find it empty. He heard water sounds from the washroom, and realised she was in. He smirked, and started executing his plan. He put tape again on the door, but this time on the lower side near the foot. He then quickly hid the tape in his pocket, and waited for her to come out.

The washroom door opened and Veer turned towards her, but what happened next was shocking. As soon as he turned, he shouted at the top of his voice, and tried to run away from her room forgetting all his plans. While running away backwards, he himself fell in his own trap. He tripped on the tape and fell down on his back. He winced in pain and looked at her face scared.

Bani had gone in the washroom to apply a sheet mask on her face. When she came out, she saw Veeranshu turning towards her and shout being scared. Before she could tell him anything, he tried to run away and tripped on the tape and fell down. Bani looked at him shocked, and then covered her mouth with her hands to stop herself from laughing out loud.
She saw him wincing, and went to help him after removing the mask from her face. She detached the tape from the door, and went to him.

B: Ye main hoon Veeranshu.. Tum pagal ho kya??....

V: *wincing* Aah.. Main pagal hoon?.. Tum pagal ho... Aisa koi karta hai?!.. Aise face pe ye sab lagake ghumogi to koi bhi darr jayega... Bhootni bann ke ghoom rahi ho, ajeeb aurat...

B: *suppressing her laughter* Haa ok ok... Par, tum gire kaise... Ye tape kisne lagaya?!...

V: Wo maine laga...*realising what blunder he was making* Mujhe nahi malum...

B: *controlling her laugh* Ok ok...Aao, utho...

She made him stand up, but he couldn't walk. He had got a sprain in his ankle. She held him from his waist, took him to his room and made him lay on the bed.

B: First-aid box kaha hai?!..

V: *shocked* Huh, kya?!...

B: Maine puchha, first-aid box kidhar hai??...

V: Koi zaroorat nahi hai ye sab karne ki...

B: Maine permission maangi tumse? Nahi na...*sternly* Jitna puchha gaya hai utna batao...

V: *Pointing to a drawer* Uss drawer mein...

Bani went there and came back with the first-aid box. She took out the pain-relief cream from the box and started applying it on his ankle. Veer tried to move away his feet, but Bani held his feet tightly and gave him an angry and stern look. Veer got scared for a moment, and became still. She controlled her smile and applied the cream.
Veer was looking at her intently. How can a girl be so caring.. Just then, his phone rang up breaking his trance. The phone was kept on the dressing table. Veer was going to get up, but he remembered her angry look.

V: Wo...

B: *smiling within herself* Haa main laati hoon..

Bani picked up the mobile from the table, and saw that Mom❤️ was video-calling him. She smiled and instantly received the call, forgetting that it was his mobile...

B: Hi Mumma...

SS: *surprised seeing her* Arre Bani, tu?!...

B: *realising it was his mobile* *awkwardly* Haa Mumma..wo..umm..

SS: *smiling* Achha hi hua, dono se eksath baat ho jayegi... Veeru kaha hai?!...

Bani went towards him and sat near his leg, and showed him to her. Veer was baffled seeing her and her antics. He shook his head, and looked and smiled at her Mom.

V: Hi Mom...

SS: Hellooo... Arre ye tere pair ko kya hua??...

V: *looking here and there* Umm..

B: *turning the mobile to herself* Wo Mumma, room ke bahar paani gir gayi thi.. Maine warn kiya tha, fir bhi bina dekhe chal rahe the janaab aur pair fisaal kar gir gaye...Pair pe moch aa gaya... *turning the mobile back to him*

Veer looked at her shocked, seeing her lying. But he soon masked his emotions and looked back at the screen.
SS: Hey bhagwannn... Veer, maine tujhe kitni bar kaha hain dekhke chala kar... Ho gaya na kaand... Main aaun kya waha??!...

V: Nahi nahi Mom.. Utna bhi nahi laga hai...

B: Mumma, main hoon na yaha.. Aap itna pareshan mat hoiye...

SS: Thik hai... Khayal rakho tum dono apna..Veer, khaas karke tu.. Abhi ke liye bye.. Good night...

Both of them smiled and bid bye to her. Bani gave him his mobile back and was going to go out, when Veer asked,

V: Tumne Mom se jhoot kyun kaha ki main paani mein fisal kar gir gaya tha??...

B: To kya kehti?! Ki tum mujhe fasane aaye the aapne door trap pe, aur khud usme ulajh kar gir gaye?!...

V: *looking awkwardly* Nahi..mera matlab..

B: Veeranshu, jo hum dono ke beech hain wo hum dono ke beech mein hi rehne dete hain... Iske andar Mumma ya kisi aur ko laane ka kya faida!!.. We are adults and we can handle our own issues, right?!!.... Mujhe tumse ya tumhare harkato se problem hua to I will directly tell it to you, and vice versa... Mumma ko batane ki zarurat hi kya hai... Samjhe??!

V: Haa right...

B: *smiling* Thik hai, tum rest karo... Main chali dinner banane.. Agar kisi cheez ki zarurat ho to mujhe bulana, attitude mat dikhana..

He glared at her. Bani laughed slightly and went.
Veer kept on looking at the retreating figure and smiled. "Maine subah sahi gaana bajaya tha... Ye ladki bilkul paagal hai... Par cute bhi hai, ekdam thodisi.. And, utni bhi buri nahi hai..."
"Also, plan 7- abort.."

                 *******************
At about 10 pm, Bani came in his room with their dinner. Veer was reading some files when she entered. He looked at her and kept the file on the bedrest. She gave him his dinner and also a glass of water. She was going to leave, but Veer stopped her.

V: Mmm.. Tum bhi yahi baith ke khalo..

B: *awkwardly* Umm.. Are you sure?!..

V: Arre haa..baith jao yaha..

B: Okayy..

She brought in a chair from his balcony and sat on it. They started eating, but the whole time Veer kept stealing her glances. Bani thought to ignore it at first, but soon it increased so much that Bani couldn't control herself and finally asked him,
B: Whatt?!..

V: What whatt?!.. Kuch bhi to nahi...

B: *not convinced* Okay...

After few seconds, he spoke up,
V: *looking here and there* Wo, umm.. Thankyou..

B: *confused look*...

V: Tumne aj jo kiya mere liye.. uske liye...

B: *raising her eyebrows understandingly* Welcome...

Bani smiled within herself and continued eating.

After the dinner, Bani re-applied the cream on his ankle. She then took the plates and started to leave.

B: Pair sambhalke sona.. Dhyan rakhna.. Goodnight...

V: Yeah.. Goodnight...

Bani used to wish him Good morning and Goodnight everyday, but it was the first time Veer wished her back. Bani smiled widely and left.

The next morning, Bani was in the kitchen making breakfast, when Veer came down.

V: Hi...Good morning... Update- Pair back to normal..

B: Good morning.. Niceee news...Waise kya baat hai, aj Veeranshu Singhania ne koi nayi badmashi ya khurafati nahi ki??!...

V: Kyun, tum chahti ho main kuch karu..Wait, lemme come...

Veer was advancing towards Bani when Bani picked up the butter knife from the knife stand in a swift motion and held it near his throat. Veer stumbled backwards being scared. He looked at the knife from the corner of his eyes.

V: Y-ye k-k-kya ho raha hai??!...

B: Meri kitchen mein koi khurafati karne ka sochna bhi mat.. Nahi to bohot bura ho jayega... Mujhe knife chalana bohot achhe se aata hai, ekbar chal gaya to tum problem mein aa jaoge..

V: D-dekho main tu-tumse darrta nahi hoon.. A-aur waise bhi main to j-j-jane hi wa-wala tha, ye-ye sab karne ki k-kya zaroorat hai.. Mu-mujhe upar kuch kaam hai, m-main chala.. Main darrta nahi hoon ok?!...

Saying this, Veer ran upstairs. The moment he was gone, Bani laughed out loud. "Darrta nahi hoon... Hahahahhahahaaa....."

After that, Veer didn't do anything with her. They had their breakfast and left for their respective work.

Bani reached the office and went to her cabin.
She was in her cabin checking a file. Suddenly the door opened and Dheeraj entered. Bani saw him and ran towards him keeping the file on the desk. She hugged him tightly; he swirled her in the air and put her down.

DD: Hi Jaaaan....

B: Hiiiiiii....I missed you so much...

DD: I missed you too... Ek aur surprise hai tere liye...

B: Kyaa??!...

DD: Aajao...

Shraddha entered her cabin.
SA: Heyyy jaaan...

B: Oh my god, Shrads..... *hugging her tightly*.. Par tu upar kaise aaya, allowed nahi hai na?!...

DD: Maine permission kara liya hai.. Official family member pe naam aagayi hai madam ki, now she can come upstairs if I want...

B: Oh godddd, Yayyyy I am so happy...

SA: *smiling* Waise ek baat to hai, teri cabin bohot hi sundar hai...

B: Tum dono khare kyu ho?! Baitho...

They both sat on the chairs, and Bani told the peon to serve three cups of coffee in her cabin. She came and sat on her chair, and began talking to them.

B: .......... aur fir DD ka idea sach mein kam aagaya.. Veeranshu darr gaya butter knife se... Uska chehra dekhne layak tha...Hahahahaaa...

SA: Kya sach mein?! Hahahahahha...

DD: Wo aadmi to darpok nikla... Hahahaha....

B: Aur pata hai kal kya hua?!........

Bani continued telling them about his pranks and his failed attempts. After sometime when she completed telling everything, she looked at them to see them smirking at her.

B: What guys?!..Kya hua??..

DD/SA: Wahi to?! Kya hua hai tujhe?!..

B: Mujhe kya hoga?!...I am perfectly alright...

DD: Wo to dikh hi raha hai.. Last 30 mins se tu continuously Veeranshu ki baatein kiye ja rahi hain...Sab dikh raha hai hume.... *teasing*

SA: Haa wahi to... Veeranshu ye, Veeranshu wo, Veeranshu ne ye kaha, ye kiya...*teasing*

DD: Babydoll, mujhe lagta hai, pyaar hogaya hai...ise... Uss se....

SA: I also feel the same...

B: *blushed* Oh shut up....*fake stern* Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai... Main bas keh rahi thi... Wo sab chhoro, tum log apni baat bolo...

Shraddha and Dheeraj shared a knowing look at how Bani tried to divert the topic. They decided to not tease her further, and started talking on some other topic.

At the evening, Veeranshu was waiting for Bani in the hall. As soon as he heard the car horn, he understood and quickly kept a gift box on the center table.

Bani entered and saw Veeranshu sitting on the sofa, reading a business magazine. It was so unlike him.. Bani shrugged her shoulders and went to sit on the sofa. Veeranshu smiled at her, and told her about the gift box.

V: Heyyy... Ye gift box aaya tha tumhare liye... Courier service se ek larka aakar kuch der pehle hi de gaya..

B: *raising her eyebrows and looking at the gift box* Oh, okay... Interesting..

Bani picked up the gift and started unwrapping it. There was a wooden box. Bani opened the box and saw a toy cockroach inside it. She picked it up and looked at it for few seconds..

B: *throwing it* Ewww...

The toy cockroach fell near Veer's feet. He jumped off the ground and stood up on the sofa.
V: Aaaaaaaa... Bani, ise hatao.. Abhi...

Bani looked at him shocked. She refrained herself from laughing out loud, picked up the cockroach and kept it back in the box.

B: Tumhe cockroaches se darr lagta hai?!...

V: Darr nahi lagta hai.. Mujhe phobia hai insects se...

B: *suppressing her laugh* Same thing...

V: *sternly* Not the same thing...

B: Achha ok.. Maine hata diya hai, ab to neeche utro...

Veer came down from the sofa and went to the dining table. He gulped down a glass of water and then calmed down. He saw Bani smiling looking at the box.

V: Tum mera baat sunkar has rahi ho?...

B: He he hasi hoti hai... Main smile kar rahi hoon...

V: Haa jo bhi hai.. Kyu kar rahi ho?!..

B: Kiski muh hai?!..Meri muh hai.. Main hasu, smile karu, gaana gau, bhajan gau, jo bhi karu.. Meri marzi...

V: Tumse baat karna hi nahi chahiye.. Main chala upar...

B: *laughing inwardly* Ye plan bhi fail tha...

Veeranshu gave him a look and went.
Bani smiled at his childishness.

Maybe, Shraddha and Dheeraj were right.. Maybe Bani was truly starting to like him...
