"Bhaiyyaaaa......"

Veer was sleeping peacefully when the loud shriek of his sister broke his sleep. He sat up and looked here and there, and saw his sister standing at the door with Daksh and Ponky and smiling widely. They wished good morning to him and ran from there, laughing. He sighed angrily. He was seeing a beautiful dream where he and his Sweetheart had gone to a snowy place and had been dancing with each other. They were just about to kiss that his sleep broke. He cursed his fate and again lied down.

He saw it was 8:45 am in the clock. He knew that his wife would be asleep now as it was a Saturday. He quickly took his mobile and gave her a missed call. He then opened his whatsapp and sent her a Goodmorning text. He also clicked a picture of himself and sent her that with a flirty compliment. As expected, she came online within few seconds, and started typing. He praised himself and concentrated on his mobile, or to be exact, on her.

He read her question and went aww seeing her care. He felt that she also loved her, but was yet to realise. He smiled and quickly typed a reason.

He laughed seeing her interest in his dream. He zoomed at her picture and stared at her for two good minutes. Then he sent her some emojis expressing his admiration.

He was glad to get her in his life. No matter how much he tried to make her jealous and insecure, she would just never take it seriously. Even yesterday when he told her about his meet with his classmate, she was so cool about it. Any other girl at her place would have gone bonkers, but she behaved as if it was very normal. Well, she was not like any other girl, she was unique... He clicked a cute picture of himself and sent her that.

He smiled keeping his mobile back. She was his moodlifter for sure. He muttered I love you for her and went to freshen up.

After breakfast, Veer was going to go upstairs to his room. Suddenly, Daksh and Ponky stopped him in his way.

V: *questioningly* Kya?!...

Ponky: Bhai, hum sab movie dekhne baith rahe hai drawing room mein... Aap bhi chalo...

V: Kaunsa movie?!...

Daksh: DDLJ... As suggested by Bani bhabhi..*emphasizing on Bani's name*

V: *instantly* Oh achha...thikhai... But, I will have to leave by 12:15... Now it's 10... 2 ghante mein khatam nahi hoga...

Ponky: Haa to, aap interval tak dekhlo... Baki ka baad mein dekhlena...

Daksh: Exactlyyy...

V: Thikhai.. Chalo abhi...

Veer and Ponky went towards the drawing room, while Daksh smirked at his success.

~Flashback~
~~ Daksh called Bani after breakfast to ask for a good romantic movie.
D: Hello bhabhi... Can you pls suggest a good bollywood romantic movie... Hum sab aj dekhne baithenge...
B: Mmm, regarding that, you can watch the classic: Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge...But, sab matlab Veer bhi dekhega?!... He is so against romantic genre...
D: *smiling* Haa bhabhi, bhai bhi dekhega... He is into romantic songs nowadays, I think... Kal hi gunguna rahe the ek romantic gaana...
B: *surprised* Oh achha, I didn't know, anyways.. Enjoy...
D: Yeah... Bye bhabhi...
He cut the call, smiling at his plan. ~~

He went to the drawing room and saw everyone already settled in their places. Ponky and Puchki were on the sofa-cum-bed whereas Veer was on the bean bag. He settled beside Puchki and played the movie.

The movie started, and Kajol aka Simran was shown dancing on Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye. Veer smiled seeing that. He had heard from Shrads that his wife was very filmy. He smiled imagining her dance like that.

Then, it was shown that Shahrukh aka Raj grabbing a beer from Simran's father Baldev's shop and running away after keeping the money on the counter. Veer laughed remembering that he had done the same thing once when he was only 22. He thanked god that Bani's father was not the shop owner, otherwise he would also have to go through the consequences like Raj.

The train scene came, and all laughed at the cute flirty skills of Raj. When Raj told "I hate girls", Veer could relate his old self with it.

Raj keeps flirting with Simran to irritate her, and Veer smiled thinking how he always flirted with his wife.

Simran gets drunk and sings Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Main. Veer laughed remembering how Bani had sung rhe same song when she was drunk.

It's shown how Raj scares Simran the next morning telling that they had had everything between them last night. Veer blushed recalling how he had told similar things to Bani, but insted of crying she had trusted him.

At one point, Veer actually related that he and Bani had a resemblance with Raj and Simran. While Veer was crazy and naughty like Raj, Bani was the typical good girl like Simran. He smilingly focused on the screen as a song came up.

(Veer remembered how he felt when the attraction towards her surfaced for the first time)

(Ponky and Puchki had stood up by then. They stood in front of the screen and Puchki acted like Kajol while Ponky acted like Shahrukh. Daksh laughed seeing them. Veer on the other hand heard the lyrics and smiled, it was only when they were away from each other that he had realised he loves her. The song matched with his situation)
Hua kya.. Na jaana..

(Ponky and Puchki enacted the whole scene exactly. Daksh and Veer laughed seeing them and high-fived)

(Daksh stood up and tried acting like Baldev. They made a total new scenario and danced on it)

(They continued their drama. Veer listened to the lyrics and thought that if he would have realised his love at the beginning, their cute romantic moments would have been more romantic and special. He sighed and decided to make many more memories like that in future)

(They tried acting as if they were parting away and crying. Daksh couldn't control himself and laughed)

(Daksh poked Puchki, and they both pulled up Veer. They started circling around him and singing the lyrics. Veer laughed and blushed. Daksh saw that and smirked at him.)

The song ended and they all laughed. Veer looked at the clock and saw that he would have to go get ready now. He bid bye to his brothers and sister and went to his room. They passed him a teasing look but let him go.

Veer reached the Tejvini Villa. As soon as Manish saw the car coming, he went inside and came after informing about his arrival. Veer smiled at him and gave him the car keys for parking.

He entered the Villa and saw Tej waiting for him. Tej came towards him smiling, and they hugged. Soon, Jahnvi also came from the kitchen. He hugged her and she smiled. He frowned noticing the turmeric stains in her hand.

V: Kya Sasuma?! Aap cooking kyun kar rahe hai?!.. Aapki tabiyat kharab thi, aapko ab rest lena chahiye... Bani ko kaha tha maine, usne kaha ki wo cook karegi isliye main raazi huya, agar mujhe pata hota ki aap takleef lene wale hai to main aata hi nahi...

J: *smiling at his care* Nahi nahi Veer, Bani hi khana bana rahi hai.. Main bas thori si madat kar rahi thi... Usne mujhe kitchen mein ghusne hi nahi di zyada... Don't worry...

V: *somewhat convinced* Okay... Waise hai kaha Madam?!...

J: Garden ke taraf gayi thi... Tum jao, wahi hogi...

V: *smiling* Ok...

Veer went towards the garden to find her. Bani was coming from the other side. Veer turned around the corner and directly bumped into her. Veer held her from the waist and his eyes widened seeing her. He looked at her from top to bottom 2-3 times. She was wearing a light pink coloured saree with a beautiful pink halter neck crop top. She had pink and grey bangles in her right hand and a rubber band in her left hand. There were long silver jhumkas in her ear. Her hair was left open in her soft natural curls. And most importantly, the mangalsutra was still adorning her neck making her look a little more cuter.

Bani corrected the pleats of her saree and looked up at him to find him lost. He muttered "Wow.." in trance. She blushed and hit on his arm, and his trance broke. A impressive smile appeared on his face.

V: Sweetheart, I might just need a CPR, cause you just took my breath away...

B: *widening her eyes blushing* Veeer, kuch bhi haa?!... Ab zyada horaha hai flirting...

V: *pulling her closer from waist* Flirt nahi, to be honest chance maar raha hoon...*wink*

Hearing his frank talks, Bani gaped in shock, and Veer quickly put a piece of chocolate in her mouth. She closed her mouth and chewed it, and realised it was one of Hershey's kisses chocolate. She smiled happily at him, and he smiled back.

V: Tum to kiss dene se rahi, isliye maine socha kyuna main hi tumhe YE wali kiss dedu filhaal abhi ke liye...

B: *raising her eyebrows* Aj kuch zyada hi frank nahi horahe ho tum?!...

V: *smirk* Arre, kaha?!... Ye to bas shuruwat hai... Aage aage dekho hota hai kya...

B: *blushing* Hato...

V: Nahi... Waise, aj saree kyun?! Kya baat hai, maarne ka iraada hai kya?!...

B: *laughing* Pagal.. Wo, actually Maa ne ye saree di mujhe, it was her one of the favourite sarees.... To, maine bhi pehnli aj...

V: *pointing at the chains of her crop top* Aur ye kya hai, lohe ke chains pehnke kyun ghoom rahi ho?!..

B: *slapping on his hand* Iske baare mein kuch mat kehna... This is my favourite crop top, Shrads ne specially design ki thi mere liye... This matched with the saree and I wore it... Tumhe itna kyun jaanna hai?!...

V: Arre, biwi ho meri, main hi to puchunga... *pulling her closer*

B: *pushing him away* Dekhiye Mr. Veeranshu Singhania, mujhe bohot kaam hai andar... Mujhe jaane dijiye....

V: *teasing* Dekhiye Mrs. Sharma, mujhe apne patni ke saath time spend karna hai... Isliye main aapko jaane nahi de sakta...

B: *fake smiling* Uske liye aapko 20 minute pehle aana tha... You are late, and so this is your punishment...

Before Veer could stop her, Bani went away giggling. He had seen the palat love test scene of DDLJ before coming and decided to apply this on her. He said "Palat, palat, palat.." under his breath, and she finally looked back on the third palat. She showed out her tongue at him and went away. He smiled and scratched the back of his neck at the success of the love test, and went inside.

The four sat for lunch together. Bani served mixed friedrice and chicken rezalla in his plate and he looked at her amazed. His wife was really an all-rounder... She smiled at him and served others. She then sat beside him and told him to start eating. Veer took the first bute and relished the taste. It tasted heavenly. Tej and Jahnvi ate and praised their daughter. Veer also praised her a lot. She smiled and thanked everyone humbly, and ate.

After lunch, Veer and Bani went in her room. The moment she closed the door, he gave a kiss on her cheek and on her palm. Bani looked at him surprised.

B: Kya?!..

V: Tumne itni achhi khana banayi sirf mere liye, iske badle mein ek return gift to banta hai...

B: *hiding her blush* Thanks... *changing the topic* Tumne movie dekha, unn teeno ke saath?!..

V: Haa, but half...

B: Oh ok, main yaha laga deti hoon... DDLJ should never be left incomplete... Tum jaake baitho, main tv on karke aati hoon...

He opened his jacket and settled on the bed comfortably. She smiled and settled beside him after switching on the tv. She played the movie from the scene upto which he had seen. He smiled at her excitement.

V: Itna excitement?! Shahrukh Khan favourite actor hai kya?!...

B: No not exactly... Actually I am a movie freak, isliye excited ho jaati hoon...

V: Who's your favourite actor?!...

B: *smirk* Pehle ya abhi?!...

V: Abhi?!...

B: *smirk* Tum... You are my favourite actor now, tumhara drama khatam hi nahi hota... Dramebaaz...

V: *shocked* Did you just?!..

B: *controlling her laugh* Yeah, I just called you a bigggg Dramebaaz...

V: *frown* Whatever...

She chuckled and shifted close to him. He smiled and pulled her closer by her shoulder. They both smiled inwardly and concentrated on the movie.

After about half an hour, Veer felt a weight on his shoulder. He looked at her to realise she had fallen asleep keeping her head on his shoulder. He smiled at her cuteness and held her protectively in his arms. He reduced the volume of the tv, and made her lie comfortably without moving her away from him, and then focused back on the movie.

The movie ended and Veer switched off the tv. The movie had left a lasting impression in his mind. He sighed happily and kept the remote on the side table, and slept beside her in the same position.

Bani woke up to an empty bed. She looked everywhere in the room and called "Veer....". Veer came out of the washroom and smiled at her. She sighed in relief seeing him.

V: *smiling* Hi Gharwali, ghar nahi jaana?!... Tum to movie ke beech mein hi so gayi...

B: Haa, neend aagayi thi... Thodi der mein niklenge... Aao baitho...

She patted beside her. He smiled and came to sit. Bani turned to sit facing him.

B: Maine kal Mishti se baat ki, Ponky ke baare mein...

V: Haa, to kya kaha usne?!...

B: She told that they are just good friends, nothing else...

V: *sigh* Obviously Bani, wo to yehi kahegi... See, as far as I know, there is something going on between the two... Matlab, maybe they are not in a relationship or such, but Ponky likes her... And she likes him too...

B: *thinking* Ohh, achha... Mmm, ho sakta hai actually... Anyways...

V: *holding her hand* Tum itna socho mat... They are adults now, they know how to deal with their lives... I am not saying that you don't need to care, you should care because it's about your sister... The thing is, agar koi aur ladka hota to main itna sure nahi hota, but since it's Ponky I know he won't do anything wrong... So don't stress yourself about that...

B: *smiling* Obviously Veer, mujhe bhi ye pata hai ke Ponky kuch galat nahi karega... Afterall he is YOUR brother... Mujhe bas ye fikar hai ki wo dono apne padhai aur career ko ignore na kare iss sab ke chakkar mein..

V: *smiling* Don't worry, nahi karenge aise... Tapish bhai is always keeping an eye on him... And, regarding Mishti, wo bhi serious hi hogi... Afterall, she is YOUR sister... *wink*

B: *smiling at his words* Hope so... Ab chalo, ghar jaana hai...

Veer got down from the bed amd wore his jacket. He went in front of the mirror to set his hair. Bani also got down. She corrected her saree pleats, took her bag and the flower bouquet, and was ready to leave. He noticed the flower bouquet in her hand and smiled. She knew how to make someone feel important by her small acts. They smiled at each other and went out of the room.

They came down and met her parents. Bani hugged them and promised that she would come again soon. Veer also hugged them and promised to come with Bani and stay here for few days. Tej and Jahnvi blessed them, and they left.

They reached the Singhania Mansion. Badepapa and Badima had already come there, and Tapish and Meera were on their way . They were going to stay there for the night and go back tomorrow after the lunch party. Meera had called Bani and told her to come there as she needed some help. That's why, they came directly to the Singhania Mansion.

Bani got down from the car and set her saree, and Veer went to park the car in the garage. He came back and saw Bani waiting for him outside. He smiled at her and was going to turn when he spotted a shadow behind her. He swiftly pulled her towards him, and the face of the shadow was revealed. Jai Mathur... Bani and Veer looked on shocked at him, and she became a little nervous. Veer went towards him in rage and grabbed his collar.

V: *angry* Yaha kya kar raha hai tu saale dhabewale?!... Firse mar khana hai?!...

J: *shouting* Aeee...

V: *louder* Abbe oyeee, chuppp....

Veer was going to beat him, but before he could do anything Jai punched on his face. Bani ran to him seeing that. She tried to push away Jai from him, but Jai pushed Bani and she fell down. Her head got hit at the corner of the gate, and blood oozed out. She cried in pain.

V: *seeing her* SWEETHEART....

B: *holding the wound* Aahh...

He looked at her and tried to go to pick her up, but he saw Jai trying to flee away. His anger reached the peak. He grabbed him from his throat and started beating him.

V: *with rage* Dhabewale, tu meri biwi pe haath uthayega... Teri itni himmat...

Just then, Tapish and Meera arrived there. Meera saw Bani sitting on the ground with pain. She quickly went to her and picked her up. Veer looked at them and shouted,

V: Meera bhabhi, Bani ko andar le jaiye...

She obeyed him and tried taking her inside. Bani was not ready to leave Veer alone there, but Meera forcefully took her inside with herself. The fight between Jai and Veer escalated as Veer was enraged about how he could hurt his wife. Both hit each other whenever they got chance, but it was mostly Veer beating and punching Jai. Tapish went there and separated the duo to stop the fight. Jai fled away getting the chance. Veer groaned angrily and cursed him loudly. Tapish hugged him to calm him down. As soon as he calmed down, he ran inside to check on Bani.

Meera made Bani sit and gave her a glass of water. She drank the water hastily and tried to go out. Meera scolded her and kept her sitted. Bani stood up anxiously. She assured that she was perfectly alright and pleaded Meera to let her go outside and stop Veer. Just then, Veer entered calling for Bani with Tapish behind him.

V: *going near her* Bani, ye chot...

B: *stopping him* Ek minute, tum meri chhoro, pehle ye batao ke tumhara ye huliya kaise hua... Usse itna lad ke aa rahe ho tum?!...

V: Haa matlab..

B: Wow, bohot achhe, great...

V: *angrily* To kya karta main, wo chomu tumpar attack karne wala tha... *calming down seeing her glare, and holding her hand* Achha thikhai chalo aao, baithke baate

B: *moving her hand* Wo sab baad mein... Pehle jao, apna huliya theek karo, kyunki namune lag rahe ho tum..

TS: *under his breath* Iske liye kaunsa nayi baat hai...

V: *looking at Tapish* Abhi ladna hai?!... *to Bani* Dekho phir, aa-achha ok...

Veer went to his room. Tapish and Meera smiled at each other seeing Bani's control over Veer. Soon, all the family members came down and gathered around Bani. They had heard a commotion outside but ignored it, but when they understood it was Veer they hurriedly came down. They examined Bani and asked her what had happened. She briefly explained the matter and told them to relax as she was okay. Shailee didn't want to agree, but Bani made her understand that she was truly okay. Everyone sighed in relief and got busy in their works again. Tapish and Meera went to their room, and told Bani to come there as soon as possible. She nodded and went with Puchki to her room.

Bani was feeling anxious ever since the incident happened. The face of Jai instilled a fear in her mind. She kept on thinking the same thing, "What if he tries to molest me again... What if he does something wrong with me...". She kept herself strong in front of everyone, but from inside she was going restless. She came out of Puchki's room and was going to Meera di's room when someone pulled her behind the pillar keeping a hand on her mouth. She became cautious and instantly turned to see who it was.

She sighed seeing Veer. He moved the hair strands from her face, and she turned towards him slowly.

V: *looking at her face properly* Kya hua Bani, tum theek ho?!...

B: *trying to go away* Mujhe abhi chalna hai...

V: *pulling her by her elbow* Tumne mujhse puchha mera haal, main nahi puchh paya..*cupping her face with the other hand and looking at her cautiously* Tumhe kaha kaha chot lagi hai... Tum, tum theek ho na?!...

B: Mujhe kuch nahi hua hai.. Main..  Main theek hoon... *trying to go*

V: *grabbing her hand tightly* Tum pareshan ho Bani, dikh raha hai mujhe...

B: *anxious* Tumhe kaise pata?!...

He held her by her waist, and she gasped.

V: *smiling* Pati hoon tumhara... Pata chal jaata hai yaar, theek jaise patnio ko pata chal jaata hai...

She pushed him away slightly annoyed and he smiled.

V: *smiling* Chance nahi maar raha hoon..*pulling her closer by her waist* Check kar raha hoon, tumhe kaha kaha chot laagi hai...*looking at her to check* Koi ek aisi chot jo mujhe dikh nahi rahi ho...

He was going to move her hair back, but she moved his hands away from her and stood at a little distance. He looked at her being confused.

B: *a little rudely* Tum meri nahi, apni dekho... Tumhari halat puncture hai... Jagah jagah toote foote pare huye ho tum...

They heard Meera calling for Bani. She was going away, but Veer pulled her by her hand and held her from waist. She gasped and held his jacket.

V: *cupping her face with one hand* Mujhe kuch nahi hua hai Bani, sirf kuch kharoche hai...

B: Kharoch nahi, ghav...

V: *smirk*...

B: *trying to divert the topic to ease her tension* Waise main tumhe abhi theek se dekh rahi hoon,

V: *nodding* Hm hm...

B: *moving a little away to look at him properly* Aur, kaafi marammat huyi hai tumhari... *smiling mockingly* Jai ne kaafi pita hai kya?!...

V: *innocently* Hm... *chuckling and pulling her closer* Wo chuha mujhe pitega, haa?!... Uski halaat dekhi hai tumne?!.. Usne sirf mujhe kharoch diye hai... Maine uska bharta bana diya, mar mar ke bharta... Nahi vishwas, aao dikhata hoon...

B: *trying to find an excuse* Aayi, Meera di...

V: *pulling her closer* Kahi aayi nahi, chalo mere saath...*smirk*

B: *awkward* Nahi, Veeranshu..

V: *smiling* Ssshhhh...

B: *awkwardly* Veeranshu tum...

V: *smug grin* Veeranshu nahi, aao...

Veer pulled her along with him and took her to the common washroom. She kept on telling that Meera needed her help, but he didn't pay any heed to her words. He made her stand inside the washroom and went to lock the door. He came back and held her from her shoulders and took her towards the basin slab.

V: *making her sit on the slab* Baitho..

He took out the first aid box from the cabinet. He opened it and took out the bottle of antiseptic liquid and cotton balls. He poured some antiseptic liquid in the cotton ball and went near her. He dabbed the cotton on the cut on her forehead, and she hissed at the burning sensation.

He was quick to react. He blew over the cut to soothe her pain, and kept on blowing air while applying the lotion there. She looked at him by the corner of her eyes. She could see his care and concern for her in his every movement. She scolded herself in her mind for being rude with him few seconds ago because of her own anxiousness, when he was just trying to take care of her. She smiled and looked at him. He smiled back and kept the first-aid box in its place. She hopped down from the slab and held his hand. He turned to look at her questioningly.

B: I am sorry Veer... I reacted very rudely few minutes ago, when you were just trying to take care of me... Sorry...*cutely* Dekho tum mujhe agar bura-bhala bolna chahte ho ya gussa karna chahte ho, to kar sakte ho...

V: *smiling at her cuteness* Nahi Sweetheart... Bade bade deshon mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai, Senorita...*wink*...*cupping her face* Tum theek ho, main khush hoon.. Mujhe aur kuch nahi chahiye...

Bani closed her eyes and felt his hand on her cheek. She tried to gain strength and assurance from his touch and calm her restless mind.

She opened her eyes and found Veer standing close to her. He pulled her by her waist and winked. She looked at him raising her eyebrows, and told "Meera di bula rahi hai..." and ran away blushing. He gave his signature laugh and went out of the washroom.

After dinner, Veer and Bani were ready to return to the Farmhouse, but Shailee stopped them.

Puchki squealed in joy and hugged Veer. Bani smiled at them and went to change in Meera's room.

Meera gave Bani one of her sleeveless kurta and palazzo sets, and she changed into that. It fitted her perfectly. She smiled at Meera and went out after wishing her Goodnight. While going out, she met Tapish and wished him Goodnight too. Then, she went to Veer's room to meet him once before going to Puchki's room to sleep.

She entered Veer's room and heard sounds coming from the washroom. She sighed and knocked on the washroom door. Veer replied from inside.

V: Kaun?!...

B: Veer, main Bani...

V: Oh Sweetheart, main bahar aa raha hoon, wait...

B: Ok..

Bani settled on the couch in his room and looked around. She remembered the first night after marriage, and how they had showed attitude to each other. And now, they were more than best friends, they could not stay 1 hour without talking after fighting with each other. She smiled at the progress of their relationship. Just then, Veer came out of the washroom. He kept the towel on the hanger and smiled at her. She stood up and smiled back.

V: *smiling* Bolo..

B: Wo..umm.. Main actually Goodnight kehne aayi thi...

V: *chuckling* Oh achha... *going towards her* Goodnight Gharwali...

B: *smiling* Goodnight Cutu...

Bani smiled at him and went out. Veer rubbed the back of his neck, blinked his eyes thinking of her cuteness, and went to sleep. He switched of the light and murmured to himself,

I love you Sweetheart...
