Bani was in her cabin, working on a new project, when DD entered humming a music. Veer had gone to office early in the morning when she was asleep. He had left a note that he had a meeting and he would be busy, and thus he would call or text her when he gets time. Seeing that, she also decided to come to office early and complete her pending works. 4 hours had passed since she came in the office and started working.

DD entered and sat in front of her.

DD: Heyyy Jaan... Kya haal?!..

B: *looking at her laptop screen* Busy hoon... Naya jo project hai, uska overview taiyyar kar rahi hoon... I have sent you the email, check it by tomorrow and revert me back...

DD: Yeah sure.. Tera kaam kab tak ho jayega?!...

DD: It's almost 1:30pm... Tune breakfast shayad se nahi kiya hai... Aur Babydoll aa rahi hai kuch der mein..

Dheeraj left her cabin and went to the lounge. Bani came there after 15 minutes to see DD and Shraddha already waiting for her. She smiled at them and hugged Shrads and sat.

B: Aur bol Babe, kya chal raha hai?!..

SA: Kaam ka pressure tha, isliye nahi aa payi... Finally I am done with my works... Ab kuch din free...

B: Naice...

DD: Tu bol, kal kya hua?! Gussa kaise gaya janaab ka?!..

SA: Haa bata... Kal Dheeru ne mujhe kaha sab, I was like 'Haww'... Anyways, bata bata...

B: *taking deep breath and hiding her blush* Bohot gussa tha wo, matlab he was behaving like that... I acted on the song 'Achha ji main haari chalo maan jao na' and then he melted...

Bani stood up glaring at them amd went to order food.

DD: You noticed?!..

Bani came back with the food trays and smiled at them fakely.

DD glared at her and took his plate, whereas Shrads blushed. Bani pulled her cheeks and gave her the plate. She sat down. They ate while talking and gossiping about various things.

After having their lunch, the trio was talking about some old memories when Bani's mobile beeped. She hurriedly checked the notification, and a smile of relief washed over her face. Shraddha noticed it and understood the matter. She showed it to DD and whispered something in his ears. They smiled and got busy in their own talks. Bani concentrated on her mobile and started typing.

She looked at DD and Shrads awkwardly and smiled. DD smiled back. But when she didn't stop smiling awkwardly, he understood she wanted something.

DD: Kya hai?!...

B: K-kya hai... K-k-kuch nahi... Kuch nahi hai... Umm, I was thinking of taking a selfie...*looking at the back* Ye background bohot achha hai, selfie ke liye perfect..

DD raised his eyebrows appreciating her excuse, while Shraddha smiled covering her mouth.

DD: *amazed* Ha lele... Sach mein, bohot achha background hai, time bhi achha hai, lele tu ek selfie...

She nodded and clicked a picture, and quickly sent it to Veer.

DD: Ho gaya?! Dikha...

B: *confidently* Nahi achha nahi aaya, maine delete kar di...

DD: Oh...achhaa....Okay...

B: *checking her mobile* Ek important text aa raha hai client se, reply kar leti hoon, ok?...

DD: *controlling his laugh* Ha ha zaroor...

She smiled gratefully and went back to texting, and DD and Shraddha laughed within themselves seeing her try to give excuses.

She kept on checking her mobile after every two seconds to see if he had come online or not. DD saw it and was going to tease her, but Shraddha stopped him. She whispered in his ears,

SA: *whispering* Mat karo disturb, look how happy she is from the moment she got the text... Rehne do...

DD: *whispering* Baat to sahi hai... I think, ise pyaar hogaya hai... Pyaar mein hi log aise karte hai...

SA: *whispering* Haa, mujhe bhi yahi lagta hai... Finally, she is in love, and with the person who she deserves the most...

DD: *whispering* Yeah... Par ye realise kab karegi?!...

Bani was too busy in her mobile to hear their talks. After waiting for about 2 minutes, he replied. She sighed happily.

Shraddha got up to leave. Bani looked at her and realised that she was so busy talking with Veer that she didn't even talk to her properly. She stood up and gave her a hug.

B: Mm, sorry wo actually...

SA: *smiling* Arre it's okk Jaan... I understand.. *in her ears* Hota hai hota hai, Veer se baat kar rahi thi tu, pata hai hume... No problem, you continue...

B: *blush* Nahi matlab..

Shraddha held her hands and blinked at her in assurance. She smiled back, and then Shraddha left. DD went to see her off, and Bani went to her cabin. She settled down and opened her chatbox.

She sighed sadly keeping her mobile back on the table. She cleared her thoughts, and concentrated in her work.

Bani reached the Farmhouse at about 8 pm. She got down of her car and went to the door to see it locked. She opened the door with her spare key and entered. Quickly freshening up, she came down to cook dinner for them as Didi didn't get time to make it in the morning. She made roti sabzi for both of them, and went back to her room, and started reading a book.

After about 1 hour, Veer returned. Bani heard his footsteps and kept the book back on the bedside table. She went out happily and entered his room, but he had already went to the washroom by then. She thought to make coffee for him and went down. After few minutes, she came back with a cup of coffee and went to his room.

He was working in his laptop when she entered. He turned to look at her briefly. He smiled at her and again focused back on his laptop.

V: *while working* Hi Sweetheart...

B: Hii... Busy ho?!..

V: *while working* Haa, wo kal ke meeting ke liye documents prepare kar raha hoon... Kyun, kuch kaam tha?!..

B: Nahi nahi, aise hi puchha... *giving him the cup* Ye lo, tunhare liye coffee banayi hai...

V: *taking the cup happily* Thankyou so much, I really needed this...

B: *smiling* You're welcome.. Tum kaam karo, main apne room mein hoon... *turning to leave*

V: *sipping the coffee* Arre, you can sit here also... No problem..

B: No it's ok.. Main book padh rahi thi waha.. You do your work, I will be there...

V: Oh ok...

Bani looked at him once and then went to her room.

Veer came down for dinner when Bani called. The dinner was a silent affair, as Veer was busy checking the details in his mobile. Bani kept on stealing glances, but Veer was so engrossed in his work that he failed to notice it.

After the dinner, he went back to his room. Bani cleaned the kitchen, and went to her room. She dozed off there while reading the book. Veer finished checking everything and went to sleep, thinking she would come after sometime. They slept in different rooms after many days.

Next morning, Veer woke up at the sound of his alarm . He switched off the alarm, and looked beside him to find it empty. He became tensed, and hurriedly went to her room to check. He saw her sleeping there in an uncomfortable position, holding her book on her stomach. He sighed at his
ignorance and went near her. He made her sleep properly, kept the book aside, and covered her with the blanket. He sat beside her and kissed on her forehead. She smiled in her sleep. He smiled seeing that and mumbled,

V: Sorry Sweetheart, for not checking if you were okay or not yesterday... I wanted to wake you up now, but tum saari raat aise uncomfortably soye huye the isliye ab thora thik se so lo... Will meet you in the evening...

He quickly wrote a note and kept it under her mobile. He looked at her and went to get ready for the office.

Bani woke up and looked around to realise that she had slept in her own room. She was going to go to Veer's room when she spotted the note kept on the bedside table under her mobile. She took the note and read it.

"Good Morning Sweetheart... Sorry for not checking up on you yesterday ☹️... I thought to wake you up, but then you were sleeping so cutely that I couldn't just call you from sleep... Naraaz mat hona okay?! Aur sad bhi mat hona... Aj sham ko jaldi laut aaunga, will meet you then.. Ho sake to tum bhi jaldi aa jana... Bye Gharwali...

She was annoyed at first when she realised that he had left without informing her, but after reading the letter all her anger washed away. She smiled at the cute note and kept it safely in the box where she had kept all his sticky notes and yesterday's note. She sighed and went to freshen up and get ready for office.

Throughout the day, both Veer and Bani were busy in their respective works and hence didn't get time to talk to each other. Bani, who always remained calm and composed, was losing her sanity for the first time. She shouted at two employees, and also made a foolish mistake in a file. She tried to maintain her cool but failed, don't know why. Her mood became sour with the day's happening. DD had noticed everything, but kept quiet. He knew why she was behaving like this. He smiled and waited for the correct time when she would realise it herself. She quickly wrapped up her work and left for home by the evening.

She reached the farmhouse and entered after unlocked the door. She threw her bag at the sofa and sighed. She ran her fingers exasperatedly through her hair and closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down.
Suddenly, someone covered her eyes with his hand startling her. She instantly understood who it was, and a smile came up on her face. She held his hand over her eyes, and called him.

B: *smiling* Veeranshu...

He removed his hand from her eyes, and she turned to see him standing there widening his arms and smiling at her. She didn't fail to notice the flower bouquet in his other hand.

V: *happily* Hiii Sweetheart...

She smiled and hugged him and he hugged her back.

B/V: I missed you and this hug...

They said together and giggled. Bani forgot about all the bad things that happened today. The only thing she felt at the moment was relief amd contentment. The situation was not different for Veer either. All his tiredness and tension went away when she hugged him. He felt happy and relaxed.

They broke the hug, and Veer gave her the flower bouquet.

V: For you...

B: *blush* Iski kya zarurat thi?!...

V: Kya zarurat thi matlab?! Meri biwi, meri gharwali, meri marzi, mujhe lana tha, maine laya...

B: *smiling* Achha okay... Par main kuch nahi layi tumhare liye...

V: Koi baat nahi.. I am happy with the hug... *innocently* Bas agar gaal pe ek kiss mil jaata to baat hi kuch alag tha.. Khair chhoro...

Bani laughed at his drama. She pulled him closer and gave a long kiss on his cheek.

B: Khush ab?!..

V: Haayye...*holding his cheek* Mujhe diabetes na hojaye, itni meethi thi... Sweetheart ki sweet kiss... Agar, ye gaal pe na milke kahi aur milta...

B: *widening her eyes* Whaat...

V: *tease* Arre, main to forehead ka baat kar raha tha, kyun tumne kya socha??!...

B: *laughing while blushing* You are impossible...

He nodded and went to his room to change. She blushed looking at the flowers and went to freshen up in her room.

Veer came down and heard sounds coming from the kitchen. He went there and saw Bani stirring something in a cup. He thought to disturb her.

V: *seriously* Kya mila rahe ho mere cup mein Bani Sharma??...

B: *looking at him seriously* Zeher...

V: *tease* Tumhare haath se to zeher bhi kha lunga Sweetheart...

B: *blush* So cheesy...

V: *smug grin* I know you love cheese, that's why...

B: *laughing* Tumhara kuch nahi ho sakta...

V: *going closer to her* Bohot kuch ho sakta hai, ekbar try to karke dekho...

B: *hiding her blush* Try karna hi nahi hai.. I don't try on useless things...

V: *keeping hand on his chest and acting like he is hurt* Ahh, ye sunke chot laga...

B: *giving him the cup* Ye coffee peelo, thik ho jayega...

They settled on the sofa and talked about their day. It was their new habit, to share the happenings of their day with each other. Veer was glad to have a wife who understood about his works and meetings and listened everything seriously, and also gave advices when necessary. On the other hand, Bani was happy to finally get someone who heard her rants and talks with constant attention and corrected her at times and also laughed at her stupid jokes.

After finishing the coffee, Veer brought up the topic of her dance yesterday.

V: Tum kya humesha se hi aisi ajeeb ho?!... Kal mujhe manane ke liye dance karne lage...

B: *laugh* Maa ko smile karane ke liye karti thi ghar mein, ab tumhare liye karta hoon... I do these crazy things only with my close ones... Wo poised and classy Bani ke pichhe ye crazy Bani chhupi huyi thi, ab tumhe pata chal gaya ye...

V: *smile* True... Waise, mera halaat thora alag hai... I usually don't do these crazy stuffs with anyone, akele karta tha pehle... Par, ab tumko sab pata hi hai, so I can be myself with you without caring about anything... Mere bhaiyo aur behen ko pata nahi chalna chahiye that I can be like this, varna mujhe pagal kar denge wo log... This should be a secret between you and me...

B: *smile* Ok done...

Bani went to the kitchen to keep the cups in the sink. In the mean time, Veer played a song in his mobile and pulled her out from the kitchen along with him. She tried to deny, but he turned and said,
V: Don't be a spoilsport Sweetheart...

She finally gave in, and they started dancing together.

The song ended, and they laughed. They were facing their back towards the door. Suddenly they heard clapping sounds from the main door.
They looked at each other with widened eyes, and cursed their timing. They slowly turned towards the door to see Tapish standing there clapping while Meera trying to control her laugh. Veer and Bani shared a pathetic look and smiled at them embarrassed.

B: *awkward* Hi Tapish Bhai, hi Meera di...

MS: *controlling her laugh* Hi Bani...

TS: Hi Bani... Hi Veeeeeer....

V: *awkward* H-hi... I think, mujhe ek call aa raha hai, I should go...

He quickly went to his room, leaving Bani alone there. She cursed him inwardly and smiled at the duo.

B: *changing the topic* Chaliye na Tapish Bhai, Meera di chalo... Upar mere kamre mein chalo...

MS: Ek minute, tera kamra?!.. Tu aur Veer alag alag kamre mein reh rehi hai?!...

Bani and Meera went upstairs, and Tapish followed them. While going, he spotted Veer's mobile in the couch. He smiled at his brother's stupidity, and quickly kept the mobile with himself without anyone's notice.

Veer entered Bani's room after few minutes. He saw Bani lying on the bed keeping her head on Meera bhabhi's lap, and Meera bhabhi massaging her head while she and Tapish bhai are busy in cracking some jokes and laughing. He smiled at how she had bonded with his family members so well in such a less span. Her vibe was so infectious that the ever quiet Meera bhabhi had also started talking and laughing openly when she was around.

Tapish noticed Veer standing at the door, and smiled at him.

TS: Ho gaya call pe baat?!..

V: Haa, done...

TS: *controlling his smile* Waise tune naya mobile kab liya?!...

V: *confused* Huh?!..

TS: Nahi, wo actually tera mobile niche sofe pe para hua tha, main le aaya... Mobile mere paas, par tu call pe baat kar raha hai, isliye puchha...

Veer closed his eyes in utter embarrassment realising that his lie was caught. Meera laughed covering her mouth, and Bani laughed silently looking at him. Veer glared at her, and went near the bed. She got up and gave him space to sit. Tapish bhai gave him his mobile back, and he took it with an awkward smile.

V: *whispering to Bani* Tumhe badi hasi aa rahi thi?!...

B: *whispering back* Haa to tum mujhe niche akele chhor ke aa gaye, jo hua thik hua...

V: *whispering* Main tumhe niche chhorke aagaya because I knew you would handle them...

B: *whispering* Buttering mat karo...

V: *whispering* Buttering nahi, cheesing... Specially for you...

TS: *clearing his throat* Hum bhi hai yaha....

V: *sitting straight* Haa, to hum kuch aur baare mein baat kar rahe the...

B: *hiding her blush* Main chai banake laati hoon...

Meera and Bani went downstairs, leaving Veer and Tapish in the room.

Bani and Meera came back to the room with a tray of chai and sandwiches. Veer made space on the bed, and they settled there comfortably. Bani sat beside Veer whereas Meera sat between Tapish and Bani. They started eating and talking, when Veer spoke up.

V: Bani, tumhe to pata nahi hoga Tapish bhai aur Meera bhabhi ki love story ke baare mein... Main batata hoon aj, about this infamous love story of our introvert Tapish bhai and forever shy Meera bhabhi...

TS: *laugh* Galat... Infamous love story humari nahi hai, wo to Choti Ma aur Chote papa ki hai...

V: *laugh* Right... Mom and Dad ki infamous love story, that's another story... Anyways, correction, let's start speaking about your childhood love story...

I am having a question to you all.. Some of my readers are not liking the name 'Cutu' for Veer... So, I want to know everyone's opinion regarding this.. I really don't want to sadden any of my readers, and thus I want you all to say if you like the name 'Cutu' or not.. If you like it, plz write Ok; and if you don't like it, plz write No, and also suggest a nickname for Veer(no Veeru, Veere.. they are already being used)..
