Bani was sleeping peacefully when suddenly a song started playing. It was basically a loud music with sound of a chicken. Bani cover her ears, but the volume increased. She groaned in frustration and shouted,

B: Veeeer....Ye gaana bandh karo...

V: *shouting* Gooood Morniiiing Sweetheart... Look who's here...

B: Ab nahi...baad mein dekhungi... Plz stop this song and let me sleep...

V: Arre ekbar dekhlo Sweetheart...

Bani raised her head and looked at him standing there wearing a black jacket on his t-shirt and also black sunglasses.

V: Welcome to the crazy world of Veeranshu Singhania... I am back....

She again slept back and told,
B: Tumhe aur koi time nahi mila aane ke liye?! Abhi hi wapas aana tha?! Thori der baad aa jaate...

Veer laughed at her annoyed sleepy words.
V: Sweetheart, subah hogayi hai... Ab uth jaao... Gaana tab tak bajega jab tak tum uth nahi jaati... Get uppp....

She hid her face in the pillow and covered her ears with another pillow.
B: *groaned* Urgghhhh... Veer, I swear ekbar main uth gayi to tumhara itna bura haal hoga ke tum soch bhi nahi sakte... Stop this damn music...

V: *laugh* Khud uthke bandh karlo...

B: *whinning* Naaahhh... Veer.... Let me sleep.... Uhuhhh plzz...

V: Nope nope nope... Utho utho utho...

Bani threw a pillow at Veer, annoyed.
V: *laugh* Hahahaa... Sweetheart, aise kuch nahi hoga... Get up get up...

B: I fuckin' hate you for this Mister Veeranshu Singhania...

She woke up frustrated and stopped the music player. She then picked up the bottle of hair oil from the dressing table and went to Veer. She poured the oil on his head and made him hold the bottle. Veer was shocked at the happening.

V: *shocked* What the fuck...Baniii...

B: *fake sweetly* Good morning Veer...

She smirked at him and left the room.

V: Arreee, ye kya hogaya... Ab mujhe shampoo karna parega... Urggh...

Veer went to the washroom to take a bath again, whereas Bani went to freshen up in her room.

Veer came down after taking bath and getting ready, and saw Bani sitting at the dining table waiting for him. She flashed a smile at him, but he kept a serious face. He came and sat in his place and looked at her annoyingly.
She giggled seeing his face.

B: Kya hua?!...

V: Mujhe dobara nahana para... Sar pe to tumne tel dhal diya to shampoo karna para...

B: *laugh* Awww... I feel sad for you... *sternly* Par, agar tum mujhe waise uthaoge to aise hi hoga, ya fir isse bhi bara kuch hoga...

V: Maine socha tha tum sudhar gaye ho, par tum to abhi bhi pagal hi ho...

B: Maine socha tha ki tum normal ho, par tum to pagal nikle...

V: *smirk* Maine kal hi kaha tha that the old Veeranshu Singhania is sanki and crazy, tab to tum mann gaye the... Ab bhugto...

B: *excited* Waitttt... That means the old Veeranshu is back?!....Really?!

V: *rolling his eyes* Maine subah hi to kaha tha... Kaha the tab tum?!...

B: *pout* Neend mein... I am so happy you actually kept my request....

Veer laughed when she said about the sleep. Cute to hai larki...

V: *smile* Main apna kiya hua vada nibhana janta hoon Sweetheart... And tumne kal first time mujhse kuch manga, kaise nahi maanta main?!...

B: *blushed* Hehe... Ruko, main breakfast leke aati hoon...

She blushed and went to the kitchen. He smiled at her antics.

They both had their breakfast together, and then left for office. Bani told Veer to come back soon as they would have to go DD's house, and he obliged.

Bani and Veer came back early from the office, and got ready to go to DD's flat. Bani had already informed DD and he had happily agreed. On her request, Veer had gone to a salon while returning from office and came home after proper grooming.

He was ready and waiting for Bani in the hall, when he saw her coming down. She was wearing a white full sleeved off-shoulder crop top with blue skin-fit denim. Her look complemented his brown tee - black jeans look very well.

He had never seen her wearing something like this before. She would wear modern dresses everyday, but a crop top and a skin-fit denim was something she wore for the first time after her marriage. She had left her hair open, and looked gorgeous. Atleast, that's what Veer thought... He shrugged off his thoughts and smiled at her.

B: Chale?!...

V: Chalo...

B: *smile* Waise ek baat to hai, you look better now... Kya bann gaye the tum, ab thik lag raha hai....

V: Thanks to you *wink*... And yeah, I must say, you are looking gorgeous...

B: Thanks.... Chalo ab...

He smiled and went out. She blushed at the compliment and went out shortly after. Throughout the journey, she kept looking outside and blushed. Why not, afterall Veer had given her a compliment for the first time...

They reached the apartment and Bani quickly got out of the car. Veer smiled at her excitement and went to park the car. He came back after parking, and they went to the lift. She was going to press the 6th button, but he pressed it before that. She grew suspicious over this, but kept quiet.

Reaching the 6th floor, she went and rang the bell of DD's flat 2 times. He soon opened the door and hugged Bani.

B: DD.....

DD: Ayeee Jaan...

Leaving her, DD went and gave Veer a brotherly hug, and Bani hugged Shrads.

DD: Arre bro...

Bani heard that and quickly turned towards them suspiciously.
B: Bro?!...*raising eyebrows* Ye kab hua??!...

DD: *whispering to Veer* Shit shit shit, ab hum dono ka vatt lagne wala hai....

V: *whispering back* Tune bro karke jo chillaya, vatt to lagna hi tha...

B: Kya khushurphushur kar rahe ho?!.. *to Shrads* tujhe kuch malum hai?!...

SA: *smiling inwardly* Nahi nahi... Main kitchen mein hoon, tu inhe dekhle..

DD: Arre...arre babydoll....*to Veer* Ab to hum dono gaye...Tu sambhal le bhai apne biwi ko...

V: *to DD* Tu sambhal na apne Jaan ko... Mujhe mat bol...

B: *folding her hands* Hogaya decide ki kya kehna hai mujhe?!... Ab andar chale?!...

DD: *sweetly* Haa chal na, chal... Ruk mujhe shayad Babydoll bula rahi hai...

B: *holding his ears* Koi nahi bula raha hai, tu andar chalke baith.. Mujhe kuch baat karni hai...

DD: Haaa, arre kaan chhor... Jaa raha hoon...

DD went inside and sat, and Bani turned towards Veer with a stern look. He smiled at her and quickly went inside covering his ears. Bani smiled inwardly seeing this, and followed him. Veer sat beside DD, and both of them shared a pathetic look.

B: Ab bataoge, kya chal kya raha hai?! Kaun batayega tum dono mein se?!... Ek kaam karte hai, DD tu start kar...

DD: Arre main kyun, Veer bhi to start kar sakta hai...*seeing Bani's look* Nahi, nahi, main hi start karta hoon... Wo kya huaa na.... Matlab... Wo.... Haa, wo jisdin tere flat pe Veer aya, usdin jab hum guest room mein jaake baithe the, tab hum dono mein baatchit hua aur ye mera bro ban gaya... *feeling proud at his excuse* Haaa yahi hua.. Fir call pe 1-2 bar hi baat hua hai..Bas..

B: Hmmm ok.... Ab main samjhi... Par, then Veer ko kaise pata ki tu 6th floor pe rehta hai?! Lift mein button press kardiya 6th floor ka, mere bolne se pehle hi... Veer?!...

V: Haa.. Kyunki usdin wo bata raha tha mujhe apne flat ke baare mein, tab usne bola mujhe ki 6th floor mein uska flat hai, aur flat ke structure ke baare mein bhi kaha...

DD gave him with a proud look.

B: Ohh..ok...Thikhai... Maan li maine tum dono ke baaton ko... Ja DD, Shrads ko help kar ab, jaaa *tease*...

DD smiled at her and quickly went to the kitchen. She sat beside Veer.

B: I am sad.. Tumne mujhse jhoot kaha that I am your first friend, but ab pata chala that DD is your first friend.... *pout*

He was baffled hearing her words. He felt like pulling her cheeks for her cuteness, but refrained from doing so. He kept his hand on her shoulder and pulled her closer.

V: Kisne kaha ye tumse?!... DD is not my first friend, DD is my brother... My first friend is my one and only sweetheart... Yaad rakhdo iss baat ko...

Bani hide her blush and smiled at him.
B: Veer, ek baat ka dhyan rakhna, yaha mujhe sweetheart mat bulana ok?!... Nahi to ye DD humdono ko chher ke rakh dega... Ginn ginn ke badla lega uss time ka jab mein use Babydoll ke naam pe chherti thi... Plz plzz, sweetheart mat bulana undono ke samne...

V: Ok ok... Done... Bani...

Just then, DD and Shrads entered the hall, each carrying two plates. DD kept the plates on the table and quickly brought 4 Coolberg non-alcoholic beer bottles and a plate of chips.
Shraddha handed over the plates to Veer and Bani respectively.

B: Yaaar DD, tune firse noodles banaya hai... Shrads, Babe plzzz... Ise aur kuch banana sikhaao... I am tired of eating this noodles everytime I come...

SA: Maine kaha tha na banane ke liye.. Isne suna nahi... Kitchen mein jaata hai to sirf noodles hi banata hai.. Tu meri haal ko soch fir...

DD tried to defend himself.
DD: Aeee hello...Babydoll, tum bhi?!.. And Jaan, for your kind information, main noodles banana janta hoon fir bhi, Veer to kuch bhi nahi janta hai... Ab tu bol..

B: *with a proud look* Chicken Veggie Skillet Pasta, Cheese Sandwiches, Cold Coffee, Tea, Rajma Chawal, Mixed Veg and Paratha...Ye sab kuch banaya hai Veer ne... Sunday ko sara din ka khana isne akela banaya tha... Ab bol..

Veer felt so happy when Bani praised him like that. DD looked at Veer dumbfounded.

SA: Woww... So nice... Jaan, tu to lucky hai yaar... *To DD* Dekho, sikho kuch..

Bani looked at Veer for once, and said,
B: I am indeed lucky...

DD saw that, and kept quiet. He was happy to see Bani and Veer together.

DD: Ok fine...Aj kha le, next din main kuch aur banaunga, pakka...

B: Dekhte hai...

V: *eating a bite* It's tasty though...

DD came and sat beside Veer, whereas Shrads sat beside Bani. When DD aaw Bani was busy talking to Shrads, he whispered in Veer's ears,
DD: Tu to aise bol raha hai jaise pehli baar kha raha hai mere haath ka noodles...

V: *whispering back* Ab tere liye itna to karna parega, right?!..

DD: True...By the way, sab thik kaise hua?!..

V: Jaisa tune kaha tha, waisa hi kiya maine... You were right, she is really so perfect and nice...

DD: I am so happy for you both.. Ab wo purani baatein bhul jaa...

V: *smile* Yeahh...

After eating the noodles, they all sat and gossiped. Shraddha and DD talked about their love story, and Bani talked about their old memories together. Veer told them about his memorable incidents of college, and also teased Bani in various ways. After about an hour, Bani got bored.

B: Yaar DD... Ab jaa, le aa wo bottles.. Ab tak thanda hogaye honge...

DD went and again brought the bottles and the chips. Bani had sent him to keep them back in the fridge because she suggested that they would drink that later. He opened the bottles, and they clinked the bottles together.

B/V/DD/SA: Cheers...

DD played the song "Chari Mujhe Yaari Teri Aisi" and Bani stood up.

(Veer and Bani were dancing madly with each other, when Shrads noticed them. She showed them to DD, and they smiled seeing them so happy. Veer was laughing and dancing, and suddenly Bani slipped. He held her and they had an eyelock)

The song ended, but Veer and Bani were still standing in the same position. Shraddha clapped her hands, and their eyelock broke. They realised that the song has ended, and left each other embarrassed. DD laughed inwardly seeing them.

Soon, it was time for them to leave. Bani couldn't find her mobile and started searching for it. When she didn't find it anywhere, she told Veer to call her. The mobile rang up in the room, and Veer figured that it had went inside the sofa end. He took the mobile out and was going to give back the mobile to Bani when he noticed the caller id. He saw that his name was saved as 'Mr. Akdu 👿'.. He frowned and showed the screen to Bani.

V: *sternly* Ye kya hai?!...

Bani saw the screen and became nervous. She gave an awkward smile to him.

B: Hehe...Wo, bohot pehle save kiya tha... Tab ye naam sahi tha..

V: Really?!.. Mr. Akdu?!...

Shrads and DD laughed looking at each other, and started enjoying the scene.

B: Haa... Dekho, mujhe jhoot nahi bolna.. Tab tum the Akdu, to maine usi naam se save kiya...

SA: Haaa..Bani to tumhe Akdu keh ke hi bulati thi tab... Haina Dheeru?!..

DD: Haa... Wahi to... Kuch din pehle bhi keh rahi thi...

Bani glared at them angrily and then looked back at Veer.

V: Ohh wow...Very nice... Uske baad tumhe time hi nahi milna change karne ke liye, right?!...Very good...

B: Ha to tumne mera number kis naam se save kiya hai?!..

V: Swee

Bani widened her eyes realising what he was going to blurt out. Veer immediately stopped seeing Bani's reaction.

SA/DD: *confused* Swee?!

V: Sweet way of changing the topic... Anyways, mujhe iss baare mein tumse koi baat hi nahi karna..

He gave back the mobile to Bani and focused on DD and Shraddha. After that, Veer was ignoring Bni the whole time till they reached down to their car. DD and Shrads bid them bye and went away. Veer handed his car keys to Bani without even looking at her.

B: Achha ab hogaya na?! Main pakka naam change kar dungi aj raat ko...

V: No need... Rehne do...

Bani went near him and tugged at his hand.
B: *sad* Tum sach mein gussa ho?! I am sorryyy... Arre, main kya kahoon.. Hogayi galti... Veer...

Veer looked at her sternly, and then burst out laughing.

V: *laughing* Hahahhahaahaa... Oh God... Hahahhaa... You really thought I am angry... Hahhahahahahaaaa....

Bani slapped on his shoulders angrily and said,

B: Aisa mazak koi karta hai?! Main darr gayi thi...Mujhe laga tum sach mein gussa hogaye ho...

V: *laugh* Ye baat ke liye?!.. Seriously?

B: *smirk* Ab dekho tum, main tumhara naam change hi nahi karungi... Rehne do use Mr. Akdu...

V: *in a challenging tone* Oh really?! I challenge you, 24 ghante ke andar wo naam tum change karoge...

B: Challenge accepted, kyunki tum haarne wale ho...

V: *coming closer to her* Veeranshu Singhania ko challenge haarna nahi aata... Dekhlena kal kaun jitega...

B: Ok, dekhte hai... Ab chale?!...

Saying this, she went and sat in the driver seat. Veer sat in the passenger seat, and she started driving. They had a take-away from a restaurant for the dinner.

After having dinner, Veer went in his room as he was feeling damn sleepy. Bani came after cleaning the dining table. She entered his room to find him almost asleep. She settled beside him on the bed. Veer turned towards her and wished her Goodnight sleepily. Bani wished back and closed her eyes smiling.

She slept while thinking,
"The craziness was back in the morning, and now the challenging nature was back... Finally, the old Veer is returning..."
