"Ding dong...."

Bani was sitting in her room after returning from the office, when the doorbell rang. Bani rushed downstairs to see Veer had already reached there. After yesterday's cockroach prank, Veer had not tried to do anything more with her. They were now at peace with each other, but Bani was unsure about how long the peace will last. She went beside Veer and smiled at him. Veer smiled back and went to open the door.

The door opened, and Daksh and Veenisha came inside happily. Bani and Veer were surprised at their sudden visit. Veer was going to hug both of them, but Veeni dodged the hug and went running to Bani. Daksh smiled at her sister's craziness and hugged his baffled brother.

Veeni: Bhabhiiiiiii.... *hugging her*

B: Hiiiii Puchki....

Daksh came towards Bani and gave her a side hug.
B: Hi Daksh...

Daksh: Hello Bhabhi...

B: Kya baat hai?! Achanak aisi visit..

Veeni: *pout* Kyu, nahi aa sakte?!...

B: Arre maine aisa kab kaha... Bilkul aa sakte ho... Aao baitho.. Waise, Ponky nahi aaya?!...

Daksh: Nahi bhabhi..Next month uska final year ka exam hai, isliye Tapish Bhai ne use bahar jaane se mana kardiya hai... Use to pata bhi nahi hai ke humdono aaye hai, agar pata chal gaya to humdono ko mar hi dalega wo...

B: Ohh achha.. Tapish bhai itna strict hai??!..

Veeni: Baapre... Ye to kuch bhi nahi hai, Daksh bhai ke exam ke time to Bade bhaiyya Daksh bhai ke sath hi rahe the 3 months... Daksh bhai last mein ro diye the... Bohot zyada strict hai Bade Bhaiyya...

Both of his siblings were busy talking to Bani, ignoring Veer. He thought they will come to him after sometime, but when that didn't happen he finally spoke up,

V: Oh helloooo... Guys... Main bhi hoon yahan...

Veeni: *turning to him* Ohh hiiiii bhaiyya... Sorry maine dekha nahi...

V: Ha ha, okk... Main hota hi kaun hoon... Jao jao, apni bhabhi se hi mil lo tum dono.. Jaooo..

Puchki pouted and jumped in Veer's arms.
Veeni: Awwwww...Bhaiyya gussa hogaye... I missed you bhaiyya...

Veer hugged her tightly.
V: I missed you too gudiya....

Puchki lifted her face from his shoulders and told angrily,
Veeni:  Mana kiya hai na mujhe gudiya bulane se?!... Main badi ho gayi hoon...

V: Main to gudiya hi bulaunga...

Veeni came out of the hug.
Veeni: I hate you...

V: *flicking her nose* I love you too...

Bani went awe at the brother-sister bond. Bani was looking at them without blinking her eyes. Daksh saw it and smiled.
Daksh: Ye dono aisehi hai... Bhaiyya hum teeno bhai-behen ke saath hote hai to sabse khush hote hai...

Bani nodded in acknowledgement. For the first time, she was seeing him like this. He showed the akdu side always, but he was actually a very dear person for his brothers and sister...

Puchki came to Bani again, and told her,

Veeni: Dekho bhabhi, hum idhar baithke baat nahi kar sakte hai... Upar chalte hai..

Saying this, she pulled Daksh with her and started climbing the stairs. Veer and Bani then remembered that no one except them knew they were staying in separate rooms. They widened their eyes, looked at each other, and ran to stop them.

B: Daksh Puchki...Main kya keh rahi hoon, hum chalke Veeranshu ke room mein baithte hain..

Veeni: Bhaiyya ke room mein matlab?!..

B: M-matlab humare room mein...

Veeni: Kyun bhabhi?!.. Uske baad wala jo room hai, wo meri favourite hai.. Hum waha baithte hai...

V: Nahi..nahi... Kyunki, uss room mein Bani ki sari cheezein hai.. Humlog abhi bhi sab arrange nahi kar paye hai humare room mein...isliye waha hai...

Bani sighed in relief at Veer's excuse. Daksh noticed how they both were trying to stop them from going into that room, and understood the real reason. They were staying in different rooms... Daksh sighed and told,

Daksh: Haa Puchki chal.. Veer bhai ke room mein hi baithte hai...

Puchki never denied her Daksh Bhai's words, and so she had to agree.
Bani and Veer smiled at each other relieved, and went to his room behind them.

Four of them were talking, when Puchki suggested that they could play Ludo. Bani and Daksh agreed,Veer didn't. But as majority wanted, Veer had to comply. Before starting the game, Bani went down and came back after few minutes with two plates of chilli chowmein. She gave it to Daksh and Puchki, and they ate it happily. After that, the game started.

Bani took yellow, Veer red, Daksh blue, and Puchki green. The game was going on smoothly. Bani was about to win, when Veer rolled the dice twice and won the game. Bani became furious.

B: Ye kya hua... Veeranshu, tumne cheating kiya hai...

V: Haww...Tumne cheating ki hai, main sahi khel raha hoon...

B: Dekho jhut mat bolo...Maine khud dekha tumhe cheating karte huye... Puchki, tu kuch bol...

V: Wo kyun kuch bolega?!.. Main bol raha hoon... Maine kuch cheating - veeting nahi kiya, tumne ki hai...

B: Liar liar, pants on fire..

V: *mimicking her* Laya laya pants on faya, huh... Jhooti...

B: Tum jhoote...

V: Dekho Bani, manlo ki main jeet gaya hoon...I am a born winner, you know..

B: Born winner, my foot.. Maine dekh li kitna bara born winner ho tum.. Last 3-4 dino mein bohot dekh li maine...

V: Dekho, zyada ho raha hai...

B: Kam to tumne bhi nahi kiya na!!.. Cheating karke jeete ho...

V: Maine cheating nahi kiya hai..

B: Arre, maine khud dekha..

V: Tumhari aankhein kharab hai...

B: Tumhara dimaag kharab hai...

B/V: Youuu....!!!

Daksh and Puchki were looking at them flabbergasted. They both were fighting like toddler kids. The fight went on to a point where they both were almost ready to tear each other's hair. Daksh finally had to come between them to stop the fight. Bani and Veer glared at each other and sat with their back facing each other.

After that, Daksh and Puchki started talking with them normally. But, they both weren't ready to come back to normal. When Bani talked, Veer sat quietly facing the other side; and when Veer talked, Bani sat facing the other side. This continued till Daksh and Puchki were ready to leave.

Even then, they both came down with Daksh and Puchki, but while ignoring each other. They both would steal glances, and if by chance they looked at each other at the same time they would turn their faces away. Daksh and Puchki smiled inwardly seeing their childish nature. They bid bye to their bhaiyya bhabhi, and went. Before leaving, Puchki hugged Bani and kissed her on her cheeks. Veer stared at her with a weird face.

B: *muttering to herself* Jalkukda...

V: Suna maine...

B: Sunne ke liye hi kaha maine...

Bani closed the door, and looked at Veer angrily.

B: *ordering* Chowmein do plates mein serve karo, main aati hoon... Aur haa, kuch milana mat..

Saying this, Bani went upstairs.

V: Mujhe order karti hai, huh... Bhook bhi laga hai, serve kar hi leta hoon...

Veeranshu went in the kitchen and started serving.

Bani came down after organizing Veer's room, and saw him already waiting in the dining hall with two plates. Bani came and sat in her place, and they started eating.
Bani took one bite, and her eyes widened. She gulped it down and asked,

B: Tumne iss mein salt and pepper daala hai?!...

V: Haa.. Dono mein hi daala hain... I really like salt and pepper in chowmein...

B: *shocked* Aachhooo... Why, why would you do that?!...

V: Arre...It tastes really good... Tum try to karo...

B: Achhooo... I am...achooo.. allergic to pepper powder...

V: Oh shit...

B: Achooo....Aa-achhooo...

Bani continued her sneezing. This time, Veer had not done anything knowingly, but still it worked. Veer felt bad, but couldn't stop himself from laughing. He laughed out loud seeing her.
Bani was a sneezing mess. She saw Veer laughing at her, and her anger increased. She picked up the salt and poured it in Veer's Chowmein. And then, she picked up the pepper and sprinkled it near Veer's nose. The pepper particles entered in his nostrils and he also started sneezing.

V: What the...achhoooo...

B: Achhooo... Tit for...achhooo..tat...

They both glared at each other while sneezing continuously. Suddenly, Bani stood up and ran to her room. She came back with a medicine strip after few seconds. She herself gulped down a tablet, and offered Veer another.

V: Achooo.. Mujhe...achhoo...nahi chahiye...

Bani put the tablet in his open mouth and handed him the glass of water. Veer reluctantly gulped down the medicine with the water. After few minutes, both of their sneezing stopped. They looked at each other, and then burst out laughing... When their laugh finally stopped, they sat to think.

B: Ab iss chowmein ka kya kare?!... Maine kitni mehnat se banayi thi...

V: Haa to tumhe mere plate mein itna namak daalne ki kya zarurat thi.. Main kha leta ye wala bhi, aur tumhara wala bhi...

B: Achha ok.. Hogayi galti.. Ab kya khaye?!...

V: Mmm... Let's order pizzas...

B: *excitedly* Yesssss... But...

B/V: Cheese Burst Pizzas...

They smiled widely and high-fived. Veer quickly ordered the pizzas. After half-an-hour, the pizzas were delivered at their doorstep. They ate it and went to sleep happily.

The next day, Bani had a day-off. She was alone in the home after Veer left for office.
At about 12 in the afternoon, Balwant called her.

B: Hello Daddyji...Kaise hai ap?!..

BS: Main theek hoon beta.. Tu kaisi hai??!...

B: Main bhi theek hoon Daddyji...

BS: Achha sun, jiske liye maine tujhe call kiya... Farmhouse ka jo store room hai, usme kuch kaam ke cheezein bhi pari hui hai... Tere paas kabhi time ho to ekbar wo check kar lena..

B: Achha Daddyji.. Main aj hi check kar lungi...

BS: Ok.. Main ab rakhta hoon... Bye..
Saying this, Balwant cut the call. Balwant knew that a very dear thing of Veer was present there in the store room, which Veer had himself kept there few years ago. It is now time to take that out. And if someone can do that, it's Bani.

Bani went to the storeroom wearing a mask, and started clearing everything. Most of the things were useless. Bani was near the corner of the room, when she saw a thing kept on a stand at the corner. She went near it and removed the white cover from it. It was a Guitar.... Bani looked at it excitedly, and picked it up along with the stand. She brought it out of the storeroom and then took the Guitar out from its bag. She was looking at the Guitar attentively when a sign carved on it caught her attention. She concentrated on the sign, and realised it was written VS meaning Veeranshu Singhania.

Bani smiled and decided to surprise him with the Guitar when he returns.

Veer returned from the office, and saw Bani standing at the entrance with a smile. It looked as if she was waiting for him only. The moment Veer entered, Bani held her from behind and tied a cloth on his eyes.

V: A-aare... Ye kya kar rahi ho??!...

B: Shhh... Tumhare liye ek surprise hai... Chalo mere saath...

V: *confused* Surprise?!... Bani, dekho mujhe ye sab pranks bilkul achha nahi lagta...

B: Main tumhare tarah har baat par prank nahi karti... Ab chalo, dhyan se chalna...

Bani held him and took him upstairs along with herself. She opened the door of his room slowly, and then told him to remove the cloth from his eyes.
Veer removed the cloth and looked at his front. His old guitar was kept there. Veer looked at it, and then at Bani.

V: *coldly* Ye tumhe kaha se mila?..

B: *happily* Wo aj main storeroom saaf kar rahi thi, tab waha se mila... Maine cover khol ke dekha isme VS likha hua hai... Main samajh gayi ki ye tumhara hai... Kaisa laga surprise?!..

Veer lost his cool as the mention of VS.

V: *angry* Kisne kaha ye mera hai?!.. Nahi hai ye mera... Fek do isse... Yaha kyu laye ho?!... Jis cheez ke bare mein kuch pata hi nahi hai use lekar itni bahaduri karne ko kisne kaha tha?!...

B: *scared* S-sorry... Main abhi hata deti hoon... Tum gussa mat ho...

V: Koi zaroorat nahi hai.. Jao yaha se.. Akela rehne do mujhe... *shout* Jao...

The moment Bani stepped out of his room, he closed the door with a bang. Bani flinched.
"Arre ye to gussa hogaya... Agar Guitar nahi pasand to mujhe keh deta, main hata deti ya kisiko de deti... Gussa hone ki kya zaroorat hai?!... Ab main kya karu?! Kaise manau?!... Mujhe to ye bhi nahi pata ke iss Akdu Singhania ka favourite khana kya hai... Ek kaam karti hoon, kisise puchh leti hoon..."

Bani first thought to call Shailee, but then decided against it. If Mumma comes to know that Veer is angry, she will surely scold him, and the situation will worsen....

She finally decided to call Meera Di. Meera had always wanted a little sister. When Bani came into the Singhania family, Meera felt a sisterly connection with her. So she told Bani to call her Mera di instead of  Meera Bhabhi, and Bani agreed happily...
Bani called Meera Di, and she picked up after two rings.

B: Hello Meera Di... Aap busy ho kya?!..

MS: Haa Bani bol... Nahi main free hoon... Kyun kya hua?!...

B: Aap mujhe bata sakte hai ki Veeranshu ka favourite khana kya hai?!... Wo mujhse gussa hogaya hai, aur mujhe iske ilawa kuch aur nahi sujh raha hai use manane ke liye...

MS: Kyu kya huaaa??...

B: Meera di, plzzzz... Bohot badi kahani hai... Baad main bataungi aapko... Ap plz meri help karo abhi...

MS: *laughing* Acha acha... Lasagna banana aati hai?!... To banale... Veer sabko na keh sakta hai, lasagna ko nahi.. Aur ha, sun, mushroom mat dalna, Veer ko mushroom se severe allergy hai...

B: Wow... I know how to make it... Thanks a lot Meera Di...I love youuu, muahhhh... Bubyeeee...
Bani cut the call without listening further.

MS: A-aree Bani...sun to... Call kaat diya.. Pagal...

Bani went in the kitchen and started preparing for lasagna. She made everything ready, and put it in the oven with the timer on. She then got an excellent idea, and went upstairs to execute it.

Veer was sitting in his room engrossed in thoughts, when Bani knocked on the door. He ignored it, but she knocked again. Veer got up and went to open the door being irritated.

He opened the door, but she was nowhere to be seen. He was going to close the door again, when Bani held the door and a song started playing.

O uh ho o o ho..
O uh ho o o ho..
(Bani pushed him inside and entered the room dancing..)

Dil ka dimaag se
Jhagda lagaaya kaise
(She asked him why he was angry)
Peechhe ke darwaaze se ae..
Dabe paanv aaya kaise
(She acted as if she entered his room like a thief)
Thoda sa kameena
Thoda bechara hai
(She acted as if he was a kamina, and then showed him being innocent)
Ishq bhoot sahi par yeh
Bhoot bada hi pyaara hai
(She pointed at him to show he was a ghost. When Veer glared at her, she held her ears and made a cute face)

Offo! Isey.. isey daant ke bhagaaun
Offo! Ya.. ya seene se lagaaun
Offo! Isey.. isey daant ke bhagaaun
Offo! Ya.. ya seene se lagaaun
(She danced like a professional dancer, but also maintaining her cuteness)
Sar pe bithaaun, ya thappad lagaaun
Offo O….
(She acted as if she was going to slap him. Veer leaned back and Bani laughed at that)

Dekho leke aaya hai
Pocket mein sharaaratein
(She took out a balloon from her pocket, filled air in it, and then burst in near his ear with a pin. Veer got startled and glared at her)
Tere jaisi hai zara aa
Iski bhi aadatein
(She pulled him and took him in front of the mirror, and showed that they were similar)
Upar se garam hai
Andar se naram hai
(Veer was going to shout at him when she put her hand on his mouth being scared, but after that also pulled his cheeks lightly)
Thoda shareef bhi hai thoda
Thoda sa besharam hai
hai hai…
(She covered herself with her hands, and then did a sexy pose. Veer looked at her weirdly)

Offo! Isey.. isey daant ke bhagaaun
Offo! Ya.. ya seene se lagaaun
Offo! Isey.. isey daant ke bhagaaun
Uffo! Ya.. ya seene se lagaaun
Sar pe bithaaun, ya thappad lagaaun

(She again repeated the steps. But this time, seeing her cuteness and her efforts, Veer's anger melted slightly)

Hairat ko bhi hairaaniyaan hone lagi
Ab hosh mein nadaaniyan hone lagi
(She made him stand in the middle, and went around him in a dramatic pose)
Baithe hain dil ek dillagi pe haar ke
Mehangi badi manmaaniyan hone lagi
(She held her hands and tried to dance with him, but he didn't move. His anger was completely gone by then, but he still maintained a stern face)

Yaari ke bahaane kandha sehlaata hai
Phir mauka milte hi ye par phailata hai
(She held his shoulders from behind and swayed, and then came in front acting like a bird)
Haathon ke paar hi iska ishara hai
Ishq bhoot sahi par ye bhoot bada hi pyara hai
Aye ae ae..
(She showed that he was way beyond reach, and then acted as if he was very cute. Veer couldn't control anymore and started laughing at her antics)

Offo! Isey.. isey daant ke bhagaaun
Offo! Ya.. ya seene se lagaaun
Offo! Isey.. isey daant ke bhagaaun
Offo! Ya.. ya seene se lagaaun

(Bani smiled realising that he was no more angry. She started dancing around him and he continued laughing)

Uf oh.. Uf ho.. Uffo…
(Bani finally ended her dance with a dramatic pose)

Veer stopped laughing, but couldn't stop smiling.
V: *smiling* Hogaya?!..

B: Haa hogaya... Waise ek baat kahu?! Tum na sach mein ek bhoot ho...

Veer fake glared at her and was going to catch her, but she left shouting.
B: *laugh* Aaaaa.....

Veer smiled at her cute antics. "Dramebaaz... Pagal kahinki..."

After about half-an-hour, Bani entered his room with two plates and a covered bowl. A cheesy aroma filled his room. Veer inhaled the smell, and looked at her.

B: *smiling* Lo lo... Jaldi plates pakdo..

Veer took the plates from her hand.

B: So, Mr. Veeranshu Singhania, presenting to you 'Chicken Lasagna' by chef Bani...*bow down*

V: *surprised* Whatttt?!... Lasagna?!... Tumne banaya hai?!...Wow...

Bani smiled and served it in those plates.

V: *smelling it* Damnnn... This smells heavenly...

B: Taste it, taste it...

V: *taking a bite and relishing the taste* Mmmmm... Wow... This tastes so amazing... I just love lasagna, and this is beyond my imagination...

B: *smiling* I know you love it...

V: *surprised* How?!..

B: Bani knows everything...*wink*

Veer rolled his eyes smiling and continued eating.
V: *absent-mindedly* Mann kar raha hai ki jisne banaya hai uska haath chumlu...

Bani was going to take her first bite, but stopped short hearing him. She blushed and looked down at her plate.
She realised that Veer didn't get what he told just now, and she continued eating.

Bani was in her room after the dinner. She was organising her shelves once again. But suddenly she noticed something and froze. The glass containing the pieces of the broken Clay Art was missing.... She started searching for it everywhere in her room.

Veer came in her room and saw her searching for something anxiously.

V: Kya hua Bani?!...

Bani turned around hearing his voice, and came running to him. She was getting nervous.

B: Veer, tumne wo glass kahin dekha hai jisme wo Clay-Art ki pieces thi?!... Maine last uss glass ko Friday dekha tha, aur aj hai Wednesday... Maine notice nahi kiya inn kuch dino mein.. Tumne kahin dekha hain kua?!...

V: Haa..Wo to maine fek diya...

B: *shocked* What?!...Kyu kiya tumne aisa...

She started crying and hitting him on his chest. Veer smiled and held her hands with his left hand, and brought out a wrapped box from his back with his right hand. He gave the box to Bani, and told her to check. She stopped crying and looked at him. She unwrapped quickly and opened the box. She looked at it shocked.

The Clay-Art was back to its original form. All the pieces of it were joined with clay, and the corners were remade with extra clay. The cracks were still visible, but still, it looked so perfect and similar to the Clay-Art before breaking.

Bani couldn't explain how she felt. She felt like she had got back her life. She kept it on the table, and hugged Veer tightly. Veer got startled. He didn't know what to do. He hugged her back after few seconds.
Bani realised what she was doing, and broke the hug abruptly. She looked here and there blushing, and Veer rubbed the back of his neck shyly. But then he noticed there were tears in her eyes.

V: Tum ro kyun rahi ho Bani?!...

B: *smiling* Ye khushi ke aansu hai.. Thankyou so so so much Veeranshu... You don't know what you did today.. Thankyou so much...

V: It's okay Bani.. Mere wajah se ye tuta tha, isliye maine ise jor diya... That's it... Tum khush ho, basss... Ab main chalta hoon... Goodnight...

Veer started to leave, but Bani called him. Veer turned towards her. Bani looked at him for few seconds, and then ran to him and hugged him again. This time, Veer hugged her back instantly. They stayed in that position for few seconds. Bani then slowly came out of the hug, and wished him Goodnight. Veer smiled and went to his room.

Bani kept looking at his retreating figure, and blushed.

Offo...Ise ise daant ke bhagaaun...
Offo...Ya ya seene se lagaaun...
Offo..o...
