The morning was calm, yet Bani’s heart raced as she sat in her chachu’s garden. Her mind replayed every moment she had shared with Veeranshu Singhania over the past two days. He had come across as confident, charming, and even a bit arrogant, but last evening, when he had confessed his feelings, something had shifted in her. There was a warmth, a familiarity she couldn’t explain.

As she stared at the text she had just sent Veer to meet her, she couldn’t help but feel nervous. What was this strange connection she felt? Why did it seem like they had known each other far longer than they actually had?

Veer arrived shortly after, dressed in a crisp white shirt and black trousers, looking effortlessly handsome. His eyes lit up when he saw her, but there was a seriousness in his demeanor.

“Bani,” he said, sitting down beside her. “Kya baat hai?”

She took a deep breath. “Veer, main puri raat sochti rahi… tumne jo kaha tha… tumhare baare mein. Tum sirf do din pehle mile ho, lekin mujhe aisa kyun lagta hai ki main tumhe kab se jaanti hoon?”

Veer smiled, his eyes softening. “Ho sakta hai, Bani, kyunki hum ek doosre ko kab se jaante hain.”

She frowned, confused. “Kya matlab?”

Veer hesitated for a moment before leaning closer. “Humari kahani yahan nahi shuru hui, Bani. Humara ek pichla janam tha—main Krishna tha, aur tum Kuttimani. Hum dono ek doosre se pyaar karte the, lekin kisi ne humare saath dhokha kiya.”

Bani stared at him, her heart pounding as flashes of memories started surfacing in her mind—images of a temple, a moonlit night, and a man she loved deeply. Tears welled up in her eyes. “Tum… tum wahi ho?”

Before Veer could respond, a loud, mocking laugh broke the moment. They turned to see Jayesh standing there, flanked by goons armed with guns. His face was twisted in rage.

“Toh, tumhe sab yaad aa gaya?” Jayesh sneered. “Bohot accha. Pichle janam mein tum dono ko alag kiya tha, aur iss janam mein bhi tumhare saath wahi karunga.”

“Jayesh!” Veer’s voice was like steel. “Tere crimes already duniya ke samne aa chuke hain. Media mein sab kuch aagaya hai—tere scams, tere illegal businesses. Tera khel khatam ho gaya.”

Jayesh’s face contorted with fury. “Mujhe farq nahi padta! Main tumhe abhi yahin khatam kar dunga.”

He raised his gun, aiming at Veer. Bani froze, fear gripping her. Just as Jayesh pulled the trigger, a gunshot rang out—but it wasn’t Veer who was hit. Jayesh stumbled forward, clutching his shoulder, blood seeping through his expensive suit.

Behind him stood a man Bani didn’t recognize, holding a gun with steady hands. His face was stern, his eyes filled with determination.

“Aniket,” Veer whispered, recognizing his old friend from their past life.

Jayesh turned, his face pale. “Tu? Yahan kaise?”

Aniket stepped forward. “Main yahan hamesha se tha, Jayesh. Main dekhta raha, chup raha, lekin ab aur nahi. Krishna ka dost hone ke naate, mujhe tabhi usse bachana chahiye tha. Lekin iss baar main apne dost ka saath nahi chhodunga.”

Two of Jayesh’s goons lunged toward Aniket, but he fired them down. Veer took the opportunity to charge forward, disarming another goon and knocking him unconscious. Aniket and Veer fought side by side, their movements seamless, as if they had trained together in another lifetime.

Jayesh, desperate and cornered, aimed his gun at Bani. “Agar main haar gaya, toh tum dono bhi nahi bachog..”

Before he could finish, Veer tackled him to the ground, wrenching the gun from his hand. With a single, decisive punch, he knocked Jayesh unconscious.

The garden fell silent except for the heavy breathing of Veer and Aniket. Bani rushed to Veer, her eyes filled with tears. “Tum thik ho?” she whispered, her voice trembling.

Veer nodded, pulling her into a tight embrace. “Tumhare hote hue mujhe kuch nahi hoga.”

Aniket walked over, his expression softening. “Krishna… ya Veer. Tum dono ek hi ho. maine tumhe dekha market me aur dekhte hi pehchan gaya ki tum dono wapas aaoge and phir aaj subhe jo media me hua uske baad muze pata tha ki Jayesh jarur kuch karega .Last time main tuze protect nahi kar paya Muze maaf karde mere dost. ”

Veer looked at him,“Aniket, pichle janam mein tumhara saath nahi tha, lekin iss baar tumne meri aur Bani ki zindagi bacha li. Thank you.”

Aniket smiled faintly. “Ab tumhari kahani puri ho sakti hai. Krishna aur Radhika ka pyaar jeet gaya.”

Later That Evening

As the sun dipped below the horizon, Veer and Bani stood hand in hand, watching the waves crash against the shore. Bani turned to him, her heart full. "Finally hum saath hai."

Veer smiled, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “Aur main hamesha tumhare saath rahunga, Bani. Yehi mera vaada hai.”

And as they stood there, wrapped in each other’s warmth, it felt like the universe had finally set things right. Their love had survived lifetimes, and now, nothing could tear them apart.

Epilogue

The breaking news flashed across every major news channel: "Businessman  Jayesh Malhotra Arrested in Multi-Crore Scandal and Attempted Murder Case!" The footage showed Jayesh being dragged out of his lavish mansion by the police, his face pale and defeated. The years of manipulation, greed, and deceit had finally caught up to him. Veer’s plan had worked perfectly—every crime Jayesh committed had been exposed, and his empire was crumbling before the world’s eyes.

Back in Mumbai, Bani stood on the balcony of Veer’s apartment, watching the city lights twinkle like a thousand stars. Veer walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist.

Bani smiled, looking out at the view. "I still can't believe it. Everything feels so... calm now."

Veer pressed his lips to her ear, his voice soft. "I told you, Bani. We deserve this peace. After everything we've been through, we’ve earned it."

She leaned into him, resting her head against his chest. "We’ve earned each other," she whispered.

Veer’s hands gently cupped her face, turning her to face him. His grey eyes sparkled as he spoke. “No more chaos. Just us.”

Bani smiled, her heart light. "Just us."

He grinned, pulling her closer. "And maybe a lifetime of pizza nights."

She laughed, shaking her head. "Fine. But you’re not getting pineapple on the pizza, ever."

Veer winked. "Deal. But I’ll keep trying."

As they shared a soft laugh, Tapish raised a glass nearby, his voice filled with warmth. "To new beginnings."

Everyone else in the room joined in, raising their glasses, but Veer and Bani barely noticed. Their world was just the two of them now, a shared future ahead.

Bani whispered, "This is everything, Veer."

Veer kissed her forehead, a soft promise in his eyes. "And it’s only just begun."
