The continuation of previous part :
Veer : Ms Bani Sharma, come to my cabin in 5 minutes.
Bani's mind voice : No, I can't work with him. I'm going to prepare my resignation letter and meet him for one last time to give it and then leave this job immediately.
(Bani went to her desk and switched on her laptop to type out the resignation letter. Mithra was sitting next to Bani's desk so she peeped at the screen curiously to see what she was typing there only to realise that Bani was typing her resignation letter)
Mithra : Sweetie, why the hell are you typing the resignation letter? Please don't tell me that you are going to quit this job.
Bani : Mithra, I can't work here anymore. I don't feel comfortable with the new MD. (She hid the truth about Veer to Mithra)
Mithra : You don't feel comfortable with him? Come on yaar, you didn't even talk to him properly but how could you decide if you are comfortable or not?
Bani : I don't know. I just don't feel comfortable around him. (She continued typing)
Mithra : Bani, should I remind you about your commitment? (Realization hit on Bani and she stopped typing) You know how much this job means to you and your future, right? If you quit this job then what's the guarantee that you will get a new job immediately?
Bani : Hey Bholenath, I just don't know what can I do now. (She said sadly and Mithra patted on the shoulder)
Mithra : Sweetie, please calm down. Don't strain yourself as it's not good for your health. Drink this water now. (She passed her the water bottle)
Bani drank the water and sat quietly for a while before receiving a call through intercom. It was from MD's cabin.
Veer : Ms Bani Sharma, come to my cabin right now.
Bani : Okay (She cut the call)
Bani to Mithra : The MD is calling me to his cabin. (She told her anxiously)
Mithra : All the best, sweetie. (She giggled)

At Veer's cabin :
Bani : May I come in, Sir? (She knocked the door)
Veer : Yes, come in. (He smirked)
Bani : Why did you call me, Sir? (She asked, stressing the word 'sir')
Veer was scanning or maybe checking her out from top to bottom. She felt uncomfortable when a man was checking her out although the man was her own husband. She finally decided to break the awkwardness.
Bani : Can you just stop scanning me and say why did you call me? (She asked angrily)
Veer : Ms Bani Sharma, take your seat.
Bani : It's okay. Tell me why did you call me here?
Veer : Take your seat first then I will let you know.
Bani : Arghh okay. (She reluctantly took her seat)
Veer : So, Ms Bani Sharma you are my Personal Assistant right?
Bani : You dialed to the Personal Assistant desk and I received it so isn't it obvious that I'm your PA? Now tell me why did you call me here.
Veer smirked at her attitude while continuously gazing at her. Bani stood up as she decided to leave since he was not going to tell her why he called her.
Veer : Bani..Bani, please sit down. I will tell you now. (She sat back with an annoyed face)
Bani : Okay tell me, Sir.
Veer : There is no need for this formalities as we are not strangers. (He smiled devilishly)
Bani : Of course we are strangers. You are our new MD and I just met you 30 minutes ago so we are still strangers.
Veer got up from his chair suddenly which made Bani to get up from her seat too. He again started scanning her from top to bottom as she was standing in front of him. Bani noticed it and glared at him.
Bani : Can you just stop checking me out from top to bottom? I'm really feeling uncomfortable with your stare on me. Don't you know how to behave with your employees?!
Veer : Why are you feeling uncomfortable with your husband, gharwali? (He chuckled)
Bani got startled the very next moment she heard the word gharwali from him. A glimpse of past crossed in front of her eyes and she was totally dumbstruck. She then noticed Veer was observing her expressions so she quickly composed herself.
Bani : Gharwali? Sir, first of all I guess you are using the wrong term to address your PA and secondly, I don't have any husband. Anyway, I have no time for this so I'm leaving. (She started to walk towards the door but stopped when Veer called her)
Veer : Ms Bani Sharma, looks like you have gained weight in my absence. (He teased her)
Bani gave a sudden jerk to see him commenting on her weight.
Bani : That's none of your business. (She snapped at him being offended)
Veer : I mean you look cute. (He started walking towards her and Bani stepped backward)
He locked the door as they were standing near it making her shock.
Bani : Why did you latch the door? Open it now! (She raised her voice)
Veer : Shhhhh. Why are you shouting now? Calm down, Relax, Breathe. (He placed his finger on her lips)
Bani was looking at him with no idea on how to react and he was smirking at her as he could sense her nervousness on her breath. He slowly moved closer to her to which their lips were just an inch apart. He removed his finger from her lips and slowly leaned in to kiss her but Bani got back to her sense and pushed him away.
Bani : Stop misbehaving with me. There is a camera in your cabin.
Veer : Ahaan.. so is it okay to kiss if there's no camera? Shall we go anywhere else to continue what we were doing? (He asked mischievously)
Bani : Stop it and move!! (She pushed him and reached the door to unlatch it but Veer grabbed her hand)
Veer : Where do you think you are going, sweetheart? I haven't tell you why I called you here. (He winked at her)
Bani : Then do it without wasting your time and my time!
Veer : Uffff my angry bird, calm down first. Come let's go and sit.
Bani glared at him and they both sat back at their respective places.
Bani : Okay, tell me now. (She said with an annoyed face)
Veer : You smile first then I will tell you.
Bani : Veeranshu, enough! I'm leaving now. (This time she quickly reached the door and unlatched it before he could respond to her)
Bani went back to her desk leaving Veer to giggle at her behaviour.

5 minutes later, she again received a call from the MD's cabin.
Bani : Hello?
Veer : Hi, Ms Bani Sharma.
Bani's mind voice : Not again 😓
Bani : Yes, Sir?
Veer : Come to my cabin now.
Bani : Veeranshu, please stop your playing around during the work hours. Let me work peacefully, please! (She begged in low voice as she didn't want Mithra to hear their conversation)
Mithra just ignored her as she was busy with her work.
Veer : I'm not playing. I'm serious this time. You need to get a job done now so please come to my cabin.
Bani : Okay.

Again at Veer's cabin:
Bani this time didn't knock the door. She just entered and started to talk to him.
Bani : Tell me why did you call me again?
Veer : Bani, we are going to have a meeting at 4pm so please prepare the presentation slides for the presentation later. You are the one going to present about the project since I've no better knowledge regarding this project than you. (He passed a file regarding the details of the project to Bani)
Bani : Okay, I will get it done. Anything else?
Veer : Nope. But if you wish then we can have a romantic moment now. (He winked at her and Bani rolled her eyes)
Bani : Bye! (She left his cabin)
Veer started laughing at her attitude once she left. He was just having fun in annoying his beloved gharwali.
Veer's mind voice : I have seen you as a caring and loving wife and now as an angry bird. I just love your both sides, sweetheart. I know I have made a huge mistake by disrespecting your love and letting you go but now I don't want to miss you again in my life. I will make you fall in love with me again, gharwali.

At 4pm, Bani was ready with the presentation slides and was waiting for the others in the meeting room. Veer entered the room along with the clients to present their project. He asked her to start her presentation and she did. While presenting, Bani stammered in between due to the not so called decent look given by Veer. He was just trying to tease her but she ignored looking at his face and continued with her presentation. Veer had seen her as a housewife, as a naagin and just now as an angry bird but now he saw a new side of Bani, as a confident and hardworking employee. He was just mesmerized with the way she delivered her speech and amazed looking at her willingness to impress their clients to approve the project. At the end of her presentation, the clients started clapping in appreciation which made him to come back from his dreamworld. He even appreciated Bani for presenting well to which she gave him a fake smile. The clients got impressed by her presentation and signed the deal with them. Finally the meeting ended successfully so Veeranshu decided to throw a party after their office hour in order to celebrate their success. All the staffs got excited including Mithra but Bani was not at all interested in attending the party.

After working hours ended, Bani was packing her things to go back home but Mithra stopped her.
Mithra : Sweetie, where are you going? Our MD just announced about the party now.
Bani : I'm not interested to join the party so I'm going back home.
Mithra : Please sweetie, let's join the party. I don't want to miss the chance to flirt with our hot and sexy MD today. (Bani rolled her eyes listening to Mithra)
Bani : Flirt with him? Mithra, you don't even know who is he but you are already talking about flirting with him.
Mithra : So yeah that's the chance to get to know who is he. I'm pretty sure he is still single so maybe I can get a chance to date him. (Bani started feeling jealous)
Bani : It will never happen even in your dreams! (She snapped at her)
Mithra was feeling different and weird as Bani never interfered in the way she flirts with guys but that day she was being quite aggressive.
Mithra : Sweetie, why are you getting angry now? He is just our MD and he looks perfect as the way all the girls prefer so why don't I give a try? You are behaving as if he is your husband. (She chuckled making her baffle)
Bani : Stop your nuisance and enjoy your party. I'm leaving home. Bye.
She turned to leave but at the right moment Veer came there and stopped her by clearing his throat.
Veer : Sweetheart, where are you going? (Bani widened her eyes as she was surprised to hear him calling her sweetheart in front of Mithra while Mithra was shocked to see their new MD calling his PA as sweetheart)
Mithra : Sweetheart???
Veer : Why? Don't you know that I call her sweetheart? (He smirked)
Bani tried to cover it up by giving a lame explanation to Mithra.
Bani : Actually he addresses all the girls as sweetheart so that's why he used it on me too. (She explained, trying to fake a smile)
Veer : Sweetheart, I don't address all the girls like that. It belongs to you only. (He whispered at her)
Bani : Stop embarrassing me. (She whispered back making Veer chuckle)
By that time, Mithra noticed they were whispering to each other and she felt it odd as Bani never did this before.
Mithra : Oh Hello, what is going on? Why are you guys whispering to each other? Let me know the secret too na.
Bani : There is no secret. We were just talking casually.
Mithra : Sweetie, it doesn't seem like you were talking. I felt like you were scolding him. (Veeranshu tittered)
Mithra : Oppss sorry, Sir. But I just felt that way.
Bani : Enough, Mithra. I'm leaving now.
Mithra : No sweetie, please stay here na. We will go home after the party.
Veer : Yes sweetie...I mean sweetheart, we are having party now so you are not allowed to go back.
Bani : Excuse me? You don't have to decide what I should do and not do. It's my wish either to stay here or not. I'm not interested so I'm leaving. (She said frustratedly)
Mithra : Bani, did you forget that he is our MD? Why are you being so rude to him? (She asked worriedly)
Veer : That's okay, Mi...?
Mithra : Mithra, Sir. My name is Mithra Shetty. (She forwarded her hand to him)
Veer : Okay, Mithra. I will remember your name from now onwards. (He said giving a handshake and Bani glared at him)
Veer noticed Bani's reaction so he planned to irritate her more.
Veer : Okay Mithra it seems like your friend is not interested to join the party so let her leave first. We can enjoy the party together. (Bani gave him a death glare)
Mithra : Sweetie, see here we have such a cool person as our MD. I'm sure we will enjoy the party. Please join us darling. (She said with a puppy face)

Bani thought for a while then agreed on Mithra's insistence. Veer was also happy so he announced "Good evening, my dear staffs. It's party time so keep your pending work aside and enjoy the paartyyyyy". He had invited a DJ to play the music to cheer up the staffs and he also ordered western food for the dinner along with drinks.
