At TaRa's room :
Tapish : Meera, I can understand your situation but please don't cry. We can sort this out soon. (He said, sitting beside her on the bed)
Meera : Tapish, did you see what my mom did to take revenge on Bani? How could she become so cruel and selfish at this age?
Tapish : The one and only reason is hatred, Meera. Your mom has been hating Bani since she came into your family and year by year that has been increasing.
Meera : But how could she do this to a pregnant woman, Tapish? How could she be so heartless? What if anything had happened to Bani today? I wouldn't be able to forgive myself in that case.
Tapish : Meera, nothing happened to Bani. Veer saved her before that so please stop thinking about it. We should protect her after this so just focus on it rather than worrying about what had already happened today. (He said, caressing her shoulder)
Meera nodded in positive and rested her head on Tapish's shoulder.

At Vani's room :
Veer : Gharwali, are you feeling better now?
Bani : Haan. (She answered absentmindedly)
Veer : Sweetheart? (He touched her shoulder to bring her back to the reality)
Bani : Veeranshu, can I rest on your lap for a while?
Veer : Sure, come. (He sat comfortably on the bed and took her head on his lap)
Bani laid down on the bed with her head on his lap silently and he started caressing her hair.
Veer : Sweetheart, can I ask you something?
Bani : Haan.
Veer : Why are you being so good to others especially to those who always hurt you?
Bani : I'm feeling sleepy, Veer. (She said, avoiding his question)
Veer : Okay then sleep. (He kissed on her forehead and wrapped his hand around her belly)
Veer leaned back against the headboard and closed his eyes while still having Bani on his lap. Both of them dozed off and after some time, he suddenly woke up with a jerk when he felt a movement on his thighs. Bani was shivering all of a sudden to which he placed his palm on her forehead to check her temperature and as he guessed, she was having fever. Bani was still in slumber but her body started to shiver as it was reacting to her body temperature. He could have cured it by invoking his powers if it was any physical wounds but since it was something related to her inner temperature, he wasn't able to do anything else rather than behaving like a normal human. He tried waking her up but she was too weak to respond so he placed her head softly on the pillow beside him and rushed to the bathroom to get a wet cloth. He placed the wet cloth on her forehead and rubbed her palms and feet as she was quivering badly. He then switched off the air conditioner and covered her with 2 more blankets.

Veer's mind voice : I think I should better call the doctor now. It has been an hour but still her temperature isn't dropping till now.
He took out his phone and called the doctor. The doctor arrived within 15 minutes and started checking Bani. The other family members were also around her as they found out about Bani's condition.
Meera : How's she now, doctor?
Doctor : She is having high fever. I will give her an injection now and let her take rest for one whole day. The injection will take up to 24 hours to work on her and hopefully by tomorrow morning her temperature will get back to normal.
Balwant : Doctor, is there anything serious with her?
Doctor : No, nothing much. It's just common to get fever during this period due to her pregnancy hormones.
Veer : No doctor, this is the first time she's getting fever after she got pregnant.
Meera : No, Veer. This is the second time. (Everyone looked at her confusedly)
Veer : Second time? I don't get you?
Meera : I will explain you later.
Doctor : Okay, I have injected her. Let her take rest first, I will take your leave.
Veer : Thank you, doctor.
Tapish : Okay, doctor. I will drop you. (Tapish and Doctor left)
Balwant : Veer, take care of her and stay beside her until she gets well.
Veer nodded and Balwant left.
Veer : Meera, what were you saying just now? When did she get fever for the first time after getting pregnant?
Meera : Last month, Veer. Do you remember the time you went to Kolkata?
Veer : Yeah and? (He raised his eyebrow confusedly)
Meera : The next day after you left, I called Bani's number but Mithra answered the call. She told me that Bani was admitted at the hospital and was being unconscious for 2 days. She refused to have her food and medicines after you left her and she had fever during that time. She also said that they tried out all the possible ways to reach you but you neither answer any of their calls nor you call them back. (She sighed)
Veer got hurt listening to her. He felt bad and guilty for letting his sweetheart suffer alone just because he had to satisfy his ego that day.

Veer : She had to suffer a lot because of me, Meera. I just don't know how do I keep on hurting her even when I'm trying my best to not to hurt her. I just can't imagine how does she went through all that pain because of me and still able to show her love on me unconditionally. (He placed his palm on his forehead)
Meera : Because she loves you a lot, Veer. I know her since her childhood. Except me and dad, no one at home has shown their love towards her but still we weren't able to show our love and care as we were afraid of my mom at most of the time. She was yearning for love and care all this while and then you found her. She hated you at first but you changed her opinion on you by just showing your unconditional love and care on her without expecting anything in return. She is attached to you, Veer. It's impossible for her to stop loving you. (She explained, being happy and proud of her sister)
Veer had tears in his eyes when he got to know how much Bani loves him. He promised himself that he would never stop loving her until the world ends.

Around 9 in the evening, Bani slowly opened her eyes and found Veer sitting beside her with his hand caressing her hair.
Veer : Sweetheart, you are finally awake. How are you feeling now?
Bani : What happened to me? (She asked in a very weak tone)
Veer : You are having fever, sweetheart. But now the temperature has slightly dropped. (He confirmed, checking the temperature by placing his palm on her forehead and neck)
Bani : What is the time now?
Veer : It's 9:00pm. (He answered with a soft smile)
Bani : What?? I have been sleeping since 11 hours? (She tried to get up but Veer stopped her)
Veer : No sweetheart, you take rest first. Don't get up because you are still not completely fine.
Bani : Veeranshu.
Veer : Yes, gharwali?
Bani : Am I bothering you too much?
Veer : Shhhh.. Don't ever say that. Taking care of you is my responsibility, sweetheart. This is the way I can express my love to you. (He hugged her and placed a kiss on her cheek)
Bani : Thank you, Veer. (She reciprocated his hug)
Their little champ giggled and Vani smiled hearing that.

One week later on Sunday :
All the members of Singhanias including Bani and Meera were having their lunch together at the dining table.
Balwant : Bani beta, don't you feel boring to stay at home all day long?
Bani : Yes, daddy ji. I'm getting bored but your son has restricted me from going out. (She said with a pout and Veer glared at her)
Balwant : Why Veer?
Veer : It's not safe for her, dad. She is being too careless nowadays and I'm busy with our business deals so I can't let her go out on her own.
Bani : Who told you that I'm going out on my own? Meera Di will be with me. Haina, Di? (She asked, showing her puppy eyes)
Meera : Haan Bani, why not. (She chuckled at her)
Veer : This is how she is convincing everyone by just showing her pout and puppy eyes. (Veer grumbled, making Bani roll her eyes)
Everyone else chuckled at their cute nok-jhok.
Balwant : Veer, today you don't have any work right so why don't you bring her out somewhere?
Veer raised his eyebrow as he was surprised to hear that from his dad.
Veer : Dad?? Why suddenly you are asking me to bring her out?
Tapish : Because Bani is sitting at home all day long, Veer. She needs to go out and get some fresh air and also spend some quality time with you.
Bani : Aww thank you so much for bringing this topic, daddy ji and Tapish bhai. I have been asking him since a long time but he is not fulfilling my request.
Veer : Okay, fine. Where do you want to go, sweetheart?
Bani : How about shopping? (She asked excitedly)
Before Veer could speak, Ponky and Daksh interrupted.
Ponky : Shopping? Bhabhi, we also want to follow you.
Daksh : Haan, bhabhi. We also want to join you. Veer bhai has never taken us for shopping until now so we don't want to miss this golden opportunity today.
Veer : Daksh and Ponky, no I'm not going to take you both along with us. We need some privacy too.
Bani : Veeranshu, stop being so mean to them. Daksh and Ponky, you both can join us. We will go together, okay?
Daksh and Ponky : Yayyy, okay bhabhi. (They said chorally)
Veer : Not okay! (He said, making a face)
Balwant : Veer, take them with you today. Just go and enjoy.
Bani : Meera Di, do you want to join us?
Meera : No Bani, actually Tapish and I have some plans today.
Bani : Ohhooo! (She giggled teasingly)

Veer was not at all interested to go for shopping but since his lovely wife insisted, he had no choice but to fulfil her demands. Veer took them to a shopping mall and the trio started purchasing many things. They first purchased some clothes for Bani at ladies section and then they went to the gents section to purchase for Daksh and Ponky since Veer refused to purchase for himself.
Daksh : Veer bhai, how is this? (He asked, showing a t-shirt but Veer wasn't interested to respond him)
Bani : Just leave him, Daksh. I will select for you. (She selected few t-shirts for him)
Daksh : Wow they are so nice. Thank you so much bhabhi, you do really have a great dress sense.
Ponky : Bhabhi, select for me too please. (He made a pout)
Bani started selecting for Ponky while Veer was getting impatient as they were wasting their time in selecting unnecessary items.
Veer : Kids, will you get done with your shopping by tomorrow? (He asked exasperatedly)
Bani : Veeranshu, we had just came here. Wait for some time na.
Veer : Just came here? Gharwali, it has been 2 hours since we came here for shopping. (He reminded)
Bani : So what? Just 2 hours only what. (She rolled her eyes)
Veer : Daksh and Ponky, I will give you guys 5 minutes only. Make sure to finalise your selection and pay the bill within 5 minutes or else I will leave you both to stay in this shop for tonight.
Ponky : Bhabhi, see how is he threatening us.
Bani : Just relax, I will handle him. You guys carry on.
Daksh : Okay, bhabhi. (He and Ponky giggled)
Veer : Bani!!! (He uttered her name in an irritating tone)
Bani : Please, Veer. (She held his hands and showed her puppy face again)
Veer couldn't help himself but smile at her puppy face.
Bani : Yayyy, permission granted. Daksh and Ponky, you guys may take your time to finalise your selection now.
Veer : What?? When did I say that?
Veer tried to stop them but Bani dragged Daksh and Ponky to select more clothes for them. Veer waited for them extra 2 hours and finally the trio paid their bills and came out with a dozen of shopping bags in their hands. Veer refused to help them carry their bags but Bani made him carry her bags by showing her pregnant belly as a reason.

Evening at five, Vani, Daksh and Ponky came back home after their shopping. When they entered the mansion, they realised it was completely dark and couldn't see anything there.
Veer : Why is it so dark here? Ponky, go and switch on the lights.
Ponky switched on the lights and everyone were taken aback to see the mansion which was beautifully decorated as if they were going to have another function there.
Bani : Veeranshu, what's going on?
Veer : I have no idea about it, sweetheart.
Daksh : Where are the others? Bade papa, Tapish bhai and Meera bhabhi?
Suddenly Balwant, Tapish and Meera appeared out if nowhere by screaming 'SURPRISE!'
Balwant : Bani beta, how's the decoration? Do you like it?
Bani : Yes daddy ji, I like it but what was this for? (She frowned confusedly)
Meera : Bani, you come with me. You have to get ready first.
Bani : But Meera Di, for what? (Meera quickly dragged Bani to Tara's room)
Veer : Dad, what's going on? (He raised his eyebrow)
Tapish : Veer, you also come and get ready now. Chalo! (He held Veer's hand)
Veer : But for what? (Tapish dragged him to Vani's room)
Daksh : Bade papa, plan success. As you said, we simply wasted our time at the shopping mall so that you people would get enough time to decorate the mansion.
Ponky : Haan, bade papa. Veer bhai got furious at us for wasting the time but somehow Bani bhabhi saved us from getting whacked by bhai.
Balwant : Thank you so much, children. Go and get ready now. (He patted their shoulders and sent them away)

Meera forcibly made Bani to get ready in a grand silk saree with suitable accessories while ignoring the numerous questions asked by Bani. On the other hand, Tapish also forcibly made Veer to wear a silk kurta which matched with Bani's saree colour. After getting ready, Meera and Tapish brought Vani to downstairs and they were surprised to look at each other.
Veer : Wow gharwali, you are looking so breathtakingly beautiful.
Bani : You are looking so handsome too, Veeranshu. (She turned towards the others) But what was the need for this? Are we having any function or party now?
Balwant : Bani beta, come with me. (He forwarded his hand to Bani)
Bani held his hand and followed him. They saw a small stage decor at the lawn which was beautifully decorated with bundles of various types of flowers around a swing chair.

Both Veer and Bani were astounded and wonderstruck with the decorations. Balwant who was already holding Bani's hand also held Veer's hand and made both of them to sit on the swing chair. By then, both of them understood that it was decorated for them but still they wondered what was it for.
Bani : Daddy ji, what is all this?
Veer : Are you guys going to get us married again? (He chuckled)
Bani hit him with her elbow.
Meera : No, Veer. We have arranged godh bharai ceremony for Bani as she's entering the 6th month soon.
Bani's eyes popped out while Veer got excited about it.
Bani : But Meera Di... (She was cut by Balwant)
Balwant : Bani, you don't have to say anything. We have arranged this for you and please accept it as a token of gratitude because you are the first woman in this house to bring a new life which is a baby girl into this Singhania's family.

Bani had tears in her eyes when she realised that Veer's family members has really took a lot of efforts to see her happiness. Veer understood Bani's overwhelmed emotions and held her hand which was placed on her lap. Bani turned and looked at him with tears but Veer wiped them off and blinked at her with an assured smile. Meera hugged Bani and cupped her face.
Meera : Bani, I'm so happy for you today. I know you have faced numerous ill-treatment and humiliation from my mom and sisters but today you have got a beautiful family to replace your unpleasant childhood memories. I just want you to stay happy like this always and forever. (She pecked on her forehead)
Bani : Not only me, Meera Di. WE have got a beautiful family today. (She said, emphasising the word 'we' to remind that Meera is also in their family now)
Balwant : Bani beta, are you happy?
Bani got up from there and walked towards Balwant.
Bani : No, daddy ji.
Balwant : Why beta? Did we forget anything else? (He asked, panicking himself)
Bani : No, daddy ji. I will be more happy with your blessings. (Saying this, she bent down to touch his feet but he stopped her)
Balwant : No, beta. Don't strain yourself. My blessings will always be with you. (He placed his palm on her head and blessed her)
Veer : Dad, how about me? (He asked with a pout while going near him)
Balwant : Are you really asking for my blessings? (He asked surprisedly)
Veer : Yes, dad. Bless me. I'm going to be a dad soon. (Saying this, he touched Balwant's feet and everyone was shocked to see this kind of changes in him)
Balwant : Veer, are you really my son? This is the first time you are seeking for my blessings.
Veer : Okay enough. Don't tease me. (He said, making a face while everyone giggled)
Soon all the guests arrived there and they started the godh bharai ceremony cheerfully. Everyone congratulated them and blessed them to have a healthy baby soon. It was almost half past nine when the ceremony ended and all the guests started to leave the mansion. Veer insisted Bani to have her dinner but she refused as she had eaten a lot of sweets from the guests who were feeding her while performing the function. Veer did not force her much as he saw her taking a lot of sweets so he just gave her a glass of milk to drink.

At Vani's room :
Veer carried Bani in his arms all the way from downstairs till their room. Once he reached near the bed, he gently placed her on the bed and kissed on her forehead.
Veer : Sweetheart, were you happy today?
Bani : Of course, Veer. Thank you so much for giving me this happiness. (She pecked on his cheek)
Veer : I'm happy if you are happy. I love you, gharwali.
Bani : I love you more, gharwale. (She pecked on his lips)
He helped her to remove the accessories on her body and got herself changed into a comfortable nightwear. They both sat on the bed beside each other and their back was resting against the headboard. Bani was playing with his right hand while he was showing the pictures on his phone taken by Ponky during the bangle ceremony.
Veer : Sweetheart, see this picture. You were glowing just now. What was the reason for that glow? (He smirked teasingly)
Bani : You and our family. (She kissed him on his hand)
Veer smiled at her answer and continued swiping the pictures. They enjoyed looking at those pictures and decided to get few of them framed to hang in their room.
Veer : Sweetheart, are you feeling sleepy now?
Bani : No.
Veer : Can I rest on your lap?
Bani : Sure, Veer. Come. (He placed his head on her lap and she started caressing his hair)
Veer : I guess I didn't get time to talk to my little champ today. (He said, giving a peck on her swollen belly)
Bani : Don't disturb her now. She is already asleep.
Veer : How do you know?
Bani : Because she didn't make any movement since an hour so I guessed that she has fallen asleep.
Veer : Gharwali, do you feel pain when she move around inside you?
Bani : No, Veer. A mother can never feel pain when bearing her child in her womb. The pain is just a pleasure to her.
Veer : My little champ is so lucky to have you as her mother, sweetheart. (He placed more kisses around her belly)
Bani : And she is more lucky to have you as her father. (She leaned forward to kiss on his face but she couldn't reach him as her baby bump was blocking her)
Veer : Wait, I will come there.
He chuckled and got up from her lap. He cupped her face and let her kiss him first. She kissed on his forehead, eyes and nose. Then he showed his lips with a pout which made her smile and kissed on his lips. Both of them had a sweet make out session for sometime and broke the kiss when they felt it hard to breathe. After that Veer helped Bani to lay down and covered her with the blanket. He laid beside her and she snuggled into his arms to feel the warmth of his body. Both of them dozed off after some time.

3 months later :
Bani entered her 9th month and her due date was just 2 weeks away. As usual it was a normal morning for them where Veer was the first one to wake up and admire his sleeping beauty. He gave a small peck on her forehead and slowly got up from the bed without disturbing her as he knew that since the last few days she had not been sleeping well as she was feeling afraid and nervous of her due date. He took his bath and got ready to go to the office as Balwant was away to the abroad for 1 month so Veer has been going to the office to replace his dad since Tapish had been taking care of their other businesses. He dressed up into his formals and was combing his hair when he realised Bani was stirring in her sleep. He sat beside her and caressed her hair. He gently tried to wake her up to inform her that he's leaving to the office.

Veer : Bani, sweetheart, are you listening to me?
Bani : Hmmm. (She responded in her sleep)
Veer : Sweetheart, I'm leaving to the office now. I will call you at 10:00am and make sure you wake up on that time. (He said as it was his daily routine to call her at sharp 10 to wake her up)
Bani : Veeranshu, can you please stay back today? (She finally opened her eyes and held his hand)
Veer : Hmm I have to attend an important meeting today, sweetheart. Okay, I promise you I will come back home after the meeting. It will just take 1 or 2 hours.
Bani : Okay, Veer. Come back early please.
Veer : Okay, gharwali. (He placed a kiss on her cheek and placed his palm on her belly)
Veer to baby : Baby, I will be back soon and till that make sure you take care of your mom. Ask her to not worry about anything else and take rest well, okay? (Baby giggled responding him)
Both of them chuckled at their little champ's response and Veer placed a kiss on her belly.
Bani tried to sleep back after he left but she couldn't sleep so she decided to wake up. Somehow she was feeling restless and her nervousness increased a lot more than before but she managed to get freshened up first and went to the kitchen to meet Meera.
Bani : Good morning, Meera Di. (Meera turned back with a jerk)
Meera : Arre Bani, you are awake? Why so early? You should take more rest.
Bani : I don't know why I couldn't sleep back after Veer left, Meera Di. I feel like today is the day. (She said in a nervous tone)
Meera : Bani, I know you are feeling afraid of the due date but just stay calm first, okay? You have been feeling this since a few days but I have a strong feeling that you will give birth only on your due date so just relax till that.
Bani : Hmm I will try my best to distract myself, Meera Di.
Meera : Don't worry, Bani. You will be fine. Go and sit at the dining table and I will get your breakfast there. (She said, caressing her hair)
Bani nodded and went to sit at the dining table. Meera served her breakfast and she ate along with her too. Daksh and Ponky came there after some time.
Daksh : Good morning, bhabhis.
Ponky : Bani bhabhi, you are awake too?
Bani : Haan. Good morning, Daksh and Ponky.
Meera : Come and sit here. I will get your breakfast.
Daksh : No bhabhi, actually we are going for trekking with our friends now so we will have our breakfast there.
Meera : Ponky, you are also following him?
Ponky : Yes, bhabhi.
Meera : Okay then take care and be back home soon. Make sure to inform your brothers about this.
Daksh : Sure bhabhi bye. And Bani bhabhi see you later.
Ponky : Bye, bhabhis.
Bani : Bye, Daksh and Ponky. Have a safe trekking and enjoy your day. (She smiled at them and they left)
Meera : Bani, do you want some more fruits? (She asked, noticing the empty plate of Bani)
Bani : No, Meera Di. I'm feeling full already. I will rest in my room for a while. Veer said he will come back after his meeting so wake me when he comes back.
Meera : Okay, Bani. Be careful.
Bani left to her room and Meera left to the kitchen.

Bani texted Veer saying that she has already woken up and took her breakfast so that he won't call at 10 to wake her up. Then she decided to sleep for a while so she rested her back on the couch and dozed off. Veer came back home at 11:00am as he promised to be back after his meeting. He entered the room to see his wife sleeping uncomfortably on the couch. He sat beside her and woke her up.
Veer : Bani, why are you sleeping here? Go and sleep on the bed. You will get back pain if you sleep like this. (He said, caressing her face)
Bani : Veeranshu, you are back. When did you come back? (She sat up and hugged him)
Veer : I just came back few minutes ago, sweetheart. Why are you sleeping on the couch? You know right you can't fit the couch in this condition. (He broke the hug and questioned her)
Bani : No, I feel comfortable here. Okay, leave it. Have you had your breakfast?
Veer : Yes, sweetheart. I had it before going to the office itself. What you had for your breakfast?
Bani : I had oats with fruits and apple juice.
Veer : Okay, sweetheart. You go and take rest on the bed for a while. I have to attend a conference call now so I will be back after that.
Bani : Veer, please don't go anywhere. Stay here please. (She showed her puppy face)
Veer : Okay, sweetheart. I will stay here and attend the call.
He pecked on her lips and helped her to rest on the bed then he settled back on the couch and took out his laptop to make a conference call through skype. Bani fell asleep while looking at him being busy on the call. He ended the call and went downstairs to get some coffee for him. At the same time, Bani woke up and saw Veer was not there. She was feeling restless again and started screaming Veer's name. Veer and Meera heard her and quickly rushed to the room.
Veer : Bani, are you alright?
Meera : Are you having pain?
Bani : Veer, where did you go? I asked you to stay here, right? (She went and hugged him tightly)
Veer : Sweetheart, I just went down to get my coffee. (He chuckled seeing her childishness)
Meera : Ufff Bani we got scared with your screams. (She breathed a sigh of relief)
Bani : I'm sorry, Meera Di. I just panicked when I couldn't see Veer here.
Veer : I'm sorry, sweetheart. I won't leave you alone again.
Meera : Veer, you just stay here with her. If you need anything then call me.
Veer : Okay, Meera. Thank you. (She left)
Veer slowly walked towards the bed holding Bani in his embrace as she refused to break the hug anytime soon. He sat together with her on the bed and started caressing her back. He realised that she was sweating badly.
Veer : Sweetheart, why are you sweating? The air conditioner is working well, right? Do you want me to switch on the fan?
Bani : I'm feeling anxious, Veeranshu. I feel like it gonna happen today.
Veer : Gharwali, you have been telling this since a few days. It won't happen until your due date. Get rid of your anxiety right now and take rest well. We still have 2 weeks to go.
Bani : But I'm feeling different today, Veer. It's not like before and I... (She was cut by Veer)
Veer : Shhh...sweetheart, just relax. Don't panic yourself. Doctor has said this is normal when the due date is around the corner so please don't stress yourself much.
Bani : Hmmm okay, Veer. (She agreed but she was not convinced)
Veer : Okay, sweetheart. Let me go and change my clothes first.

He broke the hug and walked towards the closet to get his casual wear and went into the washroom. On the other hand, Bani started feeling shortness of breath and she got up from the bed. She felt suffocated so she went near the window and opened them to get some fresh air. She stood there for a while but still she was feeling breathless and she managed to call Veer. He came out from the washroom and rushed to her when he saw her taking heavy breaths.
Veer : Bani, are you alright?
Bani : Veer, I...I can't breathe... (She said in between her heavy breaths)
Veer : Sweetheart, come and sit here. (He took her near the couch)
Bani was about to sit but suddenly screamed loudly, clutching her belly.
Veer : What happened, sweetheart?
Bani : Veer!!! My water broke!!!!
Veer : What? What do you me... (Before he could complete, Bani started screaming in pain)
Bani : Ahhhh..Veer...aahhhh!!! (She cried in pain)
Veer : Bani?? Are you having labor pain?
Bani was not able to answer him as she was screaming in pain. Veer was dumbstruck as he couldn't understand what to do. Meera heard Bani's screams and rushed to their room.
Meera : Bani???
Bani : Ahhh....ahhhh I can't... ahhhh!! (She started loosing her balance and stumbled but Veer held her tightly)
Meera : Veer, she is having labor pain. Let's take her to the hospital now! (Meera screamed only then Veer understood what was happening with his wife)
He immediately carried Bani in his arms and rushed outside. He wanted to fly to the hospital but Meera insisted to drive considering their safety so they got into the car and Veer sat on the passenger seat with Bani's head on his lap. He was continuously caressing her hair and stomach and holding her hands to assure her that he was there with her while Bani was screaming and crying in pain. They reached the hospital and Veer rushed inside carrying Bani in his arms. He placed her on the stretcher and the nurses rushed her into the labor ward. They restricted Veer and Meera to stay outside while they took Bani inside the labor ward.

Inside the labor ward :
Bani was crying in pain and the doctor immediately set up the place for her delivery. Bani was continuously screaming Veer's name and stopped the doctor from proceeding further.
Bani : Ahhhh...doctor...please call my...husband.
Doctor : Your husband can't be here during the childbirth.
Bani : Noooo....please call him...ahhhh...I want him to be...beside me.
Doctor : Mrs Bani, please try to understand. We can't delay it anymore as your cervix has dilated and the baby's head has started to come out.
Bani : Ahhh..doctor please...call him inside...please..ahhhh. (She started crying more in pain)
Doctor had no other option as Bani was being too stubborn so she went out to call Veer.
Doctor : Mr Singhania, your wife is insisting you to come inside and stay beside her.
Veer : What?? (He was scared and hesitant to go in)
Doctor : Yes, please come inside. Don't waste the time now. The baby's head is already out.
Meera : Veer, please go now. (She pushed him and he went in with the doctor)
He went inside and saw Bani was screaming and crying in pain. It hurts him more than her to see her in that state. He was stepping towards her slowly and Bani screamed his name to which he rushed to her.
Bani : Veer!!!!! Ahhhh!!!
Veer : Bani, I'm here with you. Relax. (He hugged her placing his arm around her head)
Doctor : Mr Singhania, please ask her to cooperate now. She needs to push the baby out.
Veer : Sweetheart, I'm here with you. Please push the baby. Try your best please.
Bani held his hand tightly in pain as he could feel his bones would crack anytime but he ignored that pain and focused on her pain.
Bani : Ahhhh...Veerr...I can't...ahhhh!! (She starting struggling more and Veer had tears seeing his wife in pain)
Doctor : Please try to push. The baby's neck is out now. Just a little more.
Bani was trying to push as much as she could but she was getting tired easily after a few pushes. Veer was continuously encouraging her to push, which gave her some extra strength to push harder. Tears were continuously flowing down his cheeks seeing her suffering with the process but still he kept assuring her by placing soft kisses on her forehead constantly.
Bani : Ahhhh....Veer....I can't anymore....ahh!! (She slowly started closing her eyes in exhaustion but the nurse kept on tapping on her face to keep her stay awake)
Doctor : Mr Singhania, please don't let her to sleep. She needs to push the baby. Just a little more.
Veer : Bani, sweetheart, please don't close your eyes. Look at me now. Look into my eyes. (He said, wiping his tears)
Bani looked at his eyes while groaning in pain.
Veer : Gharwali, you know right how much excited we were to see our little champ? Today it's going to happen in just a few minutes time. You want to see her right?
She nodded with more tears in her eyes.
Veer : Then please try as much as you can to push her out. She is almost there and if you try harder then she will be in our hands within few minutes. Trust me, sweetheart, I will not be able to share your labor pain but I'm experiencing the equal pain to see you in this state. Please give one last push and then our pain will be replaced with pleasure and happiness after seeing our little champ. (He gave a peck on her lips)

Bani listened to his words carefully, held his hand tightly and gave one final push with all her strength and finally the baby was out. Bani fell unconscious after the last push as it drained all her energy. Veer was trying to wake her up but paused when he heard the baby's cry. He looked at the baby with a pool of tears in his eyes and he wasn't able to express his happiness at that time. The doctor cut the umbilical cord and the nurses quickly cleaned the baby, wrapped in a cloth and passed her to Veer. He wasn't brave enough to hold the baby in his hands as his hands were shivering with nervousness so the nurse held the baby and showed her to Veer.

Nurse : Congratulations, this is your daughter, sir.
Veer wiped his tears and moved his hand forward to carry the baby. The nurse placed the baby in his hands and for the very first time he held his little champ in his hands. His euphoria and happiness was indescribable as the moment he was experiencing, made him feel like he's the most happiest dad in the entire universe. The baby opened her eyes and looked at Veer with a smile. He smiled wholeheartedly at his little champ and kissed on her forehead. The nurse then took the baby from his hands and placed her on Bani's chest.

As soon as the nurse placed the baby on her chest, she started getting back her consciousness. Veer was having happy tears to see the effect of his little champ on her. Bani slowly opened her eyes and saw her daughter for the first time that too very closer to her heart. Tears rolled down her eyes seeing her cute daughter who was looking at her with a smile. Veer came near both of them and placed a kiss on their foreheads. Even though she was feeling very weak yet she managed to wrap her hands around her daughter and kissed her.
Veer : Sweetheart, thank you so much for making bringing her to the world. (He said, wrapping his arms around her and their baby together)
Bani : Veeranshu, look at our little champ. She is looking so cute. She is smiling at us!! (She exclaimed in extreme level of happiness)
Veer : Yes, sweetheart. She is our angel.
Bani : Veer, she...ahhhhh. (She again winced in pain)
Veer got panicked and looked at the doctor who was doing something at Bani's vagina.
Veer : Doctor, what happened to her? She is feeling the pain again.
Doctor : Nothing to worry, Mr Singhania. We are stitching her cervix.
Veer : What? Are you serious? Why are you doing this without giving her anaesthesia?
Doctor : We gave her anaesthesia already but we just wonder how she is staying so strong by controlling the effect of anaesthesia. But don't worry she can actually bear this pain. We will give her a painkiller injection once the stitching gets done.
Veer : Sweetheart, just control this pain for a while.
Bani nodded as she wasn't able to talk. Veer took back his daughter into his hands to give Bani some rest. After the stitching, the doctor gave her an injection and Bani started falling asleep after that. The doctor told Veer to show the baby to their family members outside as Bani needs some time to rest. He kissed on Bani's cheek before leaving the labor ward with his baby.
