Hey sweethearts ❤️ We are so done with the flashbacks so now without dragging it much let's get into the story.

Next day at the office:
Veeranshu went early to the office as he was excited to meet his gharwali again. Actually the office hour started at 9:00am but he was there at 8:30am itself. He was waiting impatiently for his gharwali at his cabin by observing the cctv footage to see when she would enter the office. Around 8:50am, all the employees entered the office one by one and Veeranshu was eagerly waiting for Bani. It was 9:00am, he saw Mithra walking through the main entrance so he waited to see Bani with her but sadly Mithra was walking alone. He waited until Mithra took the elevator but then he couldn't wait anymore so he quickly rushed to the elevator in his floor to meet Mithra and ask her about Bani. Then Mithra reached the floor and once the elevator opened, she saw Veeranshu panting in front of her as if he just participated in a marathon. She was looking at him in surprise and she thought maybe he came there to meet her.

Mithra : Good morning, sir.
Veer : Goo...Good morning. (He replied while still panting)
Mithra's mind voice : Was he waiting to talk to me? Oh God I guess he is trying to flirt with me. Maybe he can't resist my charm. Hehe I can finally tell my friends proudly that I'm dating my MD. (She blushed)
Veer : Mithra? (He snapped his fingers)
Mithra : Yes, sir?
Veer : Hmmm why are you late? (He wanted to ask about Bani but hesitated)
Mithra's mind voice : Awww so yes he was waiting for me.
Mithra : No, sir I'm not late. I'm on time. (She said, pointing at her watch)
Veer : Oh yeah you are right. Okay, see you later. (He walked back to his cabin)
Mithra was totally surprised as she thought he went there to meet her but poor girl she didn't know the truth.

Veer in his cabin was cursing himself for hesitating too much to ask Mithra about Bani.
Veer's mind voice : You are really stupid, Veer. Can't you just ask her where is Bani? For sure she won't misunderstand it as Bani is your PA in this office so there is nothing wrong if the MD asks about his PA. Why didn't I get this idea just now? (Veer's self-lecturing stopped when he heard his phone ringtone. It was Tapish's call)

Veer : Hello?
Tapish : Veer? How are you?
Veer : Bhai, you are asking as if we didn't meet each other for 10 years. You just saw me two days ago.
Tapish : It's not like that. You said you will call me once you reach Delhi but I received no call and message from you.
Veer : Haan actually I was quite busy here.
Tapish : Okay tell me what are you doing there and why did you go to Delhi all of sudden? (He asked curiously)
Veer : Actually bhai....I will tell you something and please don't tell it to anybody else. Promise?
Tapish's mind voice : Arre why everyone are asking me to promise when they share their secrets to me. Am I not that trustworthy person? First Meera and now Veer. 😓
Veer : Bhai? Are you there or in your dreamworld with Meera?
Tapish : I'm here, Veer. Tell me.
Veer : You promise first.
Tapish : Arre baba okay promise. Now tell me.
Veer then explained the whole story to Tapish about his purpose of coming to Delhi and what he was doing there at that moment. Tapish got very excited to know that Veer finally found Bani.
Tapish : What? You saw Bani? Really? How's she doing now? (He screamed in excitement)
Veer : Bhai, bhai! Please don't scream. People might hear you. Remember the promise you made to me few minutes ago. (He reminded)
Tapish : Oppsss sorry. I just got over excited after listening to you.
Veer : Don't get excited too much. Nothing worked here. She is still angry with me and in addition, she is absent today. (He frowned)
Tapish : I know, Veer. She won't forgive you easily. You had hurt her much more than you think. She has made many sacrifices for you and in return she received only pain from you. (He unintentionally mentioned about the sacrifice she did but thank God Veer didn't realise it)
Veer : Hmm I know, Bhai. I have made a huge mistake and I'm trying to rectify my mistake now.
Tapish : Good, Veer. So when are you planning to come back to Mumbai?
Veer : Bhai, you know what was my purpose here yet you are asking when I'm coming back? I won't come back until Bani forgives and accepts me.
Tapish : Okay, Veer. All the best to you. Convey my regards to Bani as well. Take care.
Veer : Convey your regards to her? It's not important at this moment. (He said annoyingly)
Tapish laughed and cut the call.

After few attempts of rehearsal, Veeranshu finally gathered his courage to ask Mithra about Bani's absence. He called Mithra through the intercom and asked her to visit his cabin. Mithra had no idea about why he called her so she thought he was calling her to talk something related to their job. She knocked the door before going in.
Mithra : May I come in, sir?
Veer : Yes, come in.
Mithra : Yes, sir?
Veer : Mithra, where is Bani? Why she is absent today?
Mithra : Actually she is not feeling well since last night, sir. She is on leave today.
Veer panicked when he heard that she was not feeling well.
Veer : What??? What happened to Bani? Is she alright now? (He panicked making Mithra to get suspicious)
Mithra : No sir, she is fine. She just needs to take some rest. (She still looked suspicious)
Veer looked at her expression and realised she was suspicious about him so he tried to cover it up.
Veer : No, actually only Bani knows about my meeting schedules so that's why I'm asking about her.
Mithra : Oh okay, sir. Why don't you dial her number?
Veer : I don't have her number.
Veer's mind voice : Damn I don't have my own wife's phone number. She changed her number already.
Mithra : I will give you her number. Save it in your contact.
Mithra then gave Bani's number to him and was about to leave but Veer called her again so she stopped.
Veer : Mithra, if you don't mind, can I get your house address? (He knew where they were staying but he didn't know about their door number)
Mithra : Hmmm.. (She hesitated as Bani didn't like to reveal their details to anyone)
Veer : No, actually I need Bani's signature in this file so I want to meet her to get it. (He stated a lame excuse ever in his life)
Mithra's mind voice : Usually the PA will search for MD to get his signature but here it is vice versa 🤔
Veer : Mithra? Please can I get it?
Mithra obeyed and gave him their apartment details.
Veer : Thank you so much, Mithra. You can leave now. (She left but with more suspicion)

Veer reached the address Mithra gave and pressed the calling bell. His eyes popped out of his socket and got shocked to death to see Arjun in Bani's apartment.
Veer : Arjun, what are you doing here?
Arjun : Hello, sir. I'm Bani and Mithra's neighbour.
Veer : You should be at office by this time right? (He asked exasperatedly)
Arjun : Yes sir, but actually Bani is not feeling well so I took leave to look after her.
As soon as Arjun explained it, Veeranshu was fuming with rage and he wanted to hold his collar and ask him why the hell he was there to look after his Bani but he just gritted his teeth and calmly asked.
Veer : Arjun, why are you taking leave unnecessarily? Mithra said Bani is feeling better now so I guess she can take care of herself.
Arjun : Actually Mithra was the one who asked me to look after Bani as she couldn't take leave today.
Veeranshu's anger now shifted towards Mithra but he clenched his fists and asked.
Veer : Okay. Can I meet Bani now?
Arjun : But sir, what is the purpose of your visit? What makes you to come until here?
Veeranshu finally lost his control as Arjun was asking questions rightfully like her husband.
Veer : Arjun? Don't you dare asking questions to your MD? One more question and you will be fired! (He yelled)
Arjun : No sir, I'm extremely sorry. You can meet Bani now. She is resting in her room. (He was frightened)
Veer : Okay. Can you please go to the office now? I have assigned a task for you.
Arjun : Okay sir I will leave now. (He left to his apartment)
Actually Veer didn't assign any task for Arjun so for sure he would get disappointed on Veer for ruining his holiday.

There were two rooms in the apartment so Veeranshu knocked the door on the left side but he got no response so he knocked the door on the right side and he heard Bani's voice.
Bani : Come in, Arjun.
Veer got furious listening to Arjun's name from Bani's mouth but he controlled his anger and opened the door. Bani was laying in bed with her eyes closed.
Veer : Gharwali? (He called, walking towards the bed)
Bani's eyes got widened as soon as she heard his voice. She immediately sat on her bed and turned towards his direction.
Bani : Veeranshu, what are you doing here? (She asked shockingly)
Veer : Actually I came for you.
Bani : But why?
Veer : Because my gharwali is not feeling well so how do you expect me to not visit you?
Bani : Who told you that I'm not feeling well? And wait.. How did you get the address? (She asked suspiciously)
Veer : Sweetheart, is it important now? Be happy that you have got such a caring husband. (He winked at her)
Bani : Stop it. Who gave you all these details?
Veer : Arghhh why do you care? (He went and sat beside her on the bed)
Bani : Veeranshu, stop playing. Get up now. (She was trying to push him)
Veer : Gharwali, what is this manner? You didn't even invite me properly as this is the first time I'm visiting your house. (He sulked)
Bani : Veeranshu!
Veer : Yes baby? (He slowly came near her and she quickly got up from the bed)
Bani : Get out! (She yelled)
Veer : Sweetheart, you are really so bad. Why are you chasing me away now? (He raised his voice a little and got up from the bed)
Bani : Veeranshu, don't shout. Arjun could hear our conversation.
Veer : That idiot is not here. I chased him away. (He said nonchalantly)
Bani's gasped at the newly found information.
Bani : What? You chased him away? Who gave you the rights to do it? (She scowled at him)
Veer : First of all, what is that idiot doing here? Who the hell is he to look after you? (He yelled)
Bani : It's none of your business, Mr Veeranshu Singhania. Get out now!
Veer : I don't want to see him around you again. If I do then I will fire him the next moment. (He warned)
Bani : Why are you being so rude now? He is not someone who born with silver spoon like you. He is surviving on his monthly salary and you can't just fire him for your stupid reasons. His family is depending on him. (She snapped back)
Veer : Sweetheart, why are you getting tensed now? Calm down, relax, breathe. I'm not going to fire anyone, okay?
Bani : Get out!
Veer : No! (He pinned her against the wall and took her both wrists, holding them above her head)
Bani : What are you doing? Leave me. (She was trying to escape from his hold)
Veer then held her both wrists with his right hand above her head and his left hand cupped her face. Bani was looking at him with horrified expression and he smirked at it.
Bani : I said leave me. Leave me, Mr Veeran..(He pressed his lips on hers unexpectedly which made her to stop yelling)

Bani's eyes were wide open as she didn't understand how to stop him since he was holding her wrists tightly. Veeranshu first looked at her, then closed his eyes to live the moment. He was kissing her for more than 1 minute and he wanted to kiss more but unfortunately Bani stepped on his foot which made him jerk in sudden pain and remove his lips from hers. He was still holding her hands and asked.
Veer : Gharwali, what is this behaviour?
Bani : I should ask you this question. What is this behaviour and who the hell gave you the rights to kiss me? (She snapped at him)
Veer : It's you. (He chuckled)
Bani : Huh?
Veer : Yes, it's you. Do you remember that day you kissed me in my room..sorry in our room when I was getting ready for a meeting? (He smirked and she felt embarrassed)
Bani : I said it's over! Don't try to hold on to the past again.
Veer : Okay then let me start it freshly. (He leaned again to kiss her but she suddenly turned her face and he kissed on her right cheek)
Bani : Please leave me. It hurts. (She pointed at her hands through her eyes)
Veer : I'm so sorry. (He released her hands and the very next moment she pushed him away)
He jerked back and held her hands again when she touched on his chest to push him. Now he locked her wrists between his hands and chest.
Bani : I said leave me! (She screamed)
Veer : Stop screaming or else..
Bani : Or else what? Are you threatening me? (She glared at him)
Veer : Or else this time I will kiss you for more than 10 minutes. (He chuckled)
Bani : Only if I allow you. Now please get out. (She struggled to pull back her hands from his grip)
Veer : Sweetheart, can I get some water? I'm thirsty. (He released her hands and asked with an innocent face but Bani understood the mischievousness behind his innocent face)
Bani : No.
Veer : Please? (He made a puppy face)
Bani : Arghh okay. (She left to the kitchen and he followed her)

At the kitchen, Bani was pouring the water into a glass and all of sudden Veeranshu hugged her from behind. He wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her right shoulder.
Bani : Veeranshu, leave me. Move! (She was trying to remove his arms from her waist but he tightened the grip instead giving her pain in her stomach)
Bani : Please? It hurts. (She begged)
Veer didn't know about her pregnancy so he thought she was lying to release the hug. He even felt some weird feeling while wrapping his arms around her belly but he just ignored it by thinking she had gained weight. A lone tear escaped from her eye and fell on his hand to which he realised she was telling the truth. He instantly broke the hug and turned her to face him. Bani's face frowned due to the pain she felt. He cupped her face.
Veer : Bani, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you I swear. I was just playing with you but I never thought you were really feeling the pain there. I'm extremely sorry. (He apologized worriedly)
She neither responded nor looked at his face. She was staring at the floor to avoid the eye contact. He felt guilty for giving her pain again and again. Without knowing the fact that she was bearing his child in her stomach, he sat on his knees and placed a kiss on her stomach in order to cure her pain. Bani got surprised with his action and jerked back. He realised she was feeling uncomfortable so he stood up and cupped her face. This time she was looking into his eyes.
Veer : I'm sorry, Bani. (She saw tears were threatening to come out from his eyes)
Bani : It's okay, Veeranshu. (She spoke with low voice)
Veer : Will you forgive me?
Bani : For?
Veer : For everything?
Bani : No. (She removed his hands from her face and walked away from the kitchen to the living area and she was followed by Veer)

Bani : Can you tell me the purpose of your visit today?
Veer : I just wanted to see if you are feeling well or not since you are absent today.
Bani : I have sent you an email regarding my leave. Didn't you check it?
Veer : Oh no, I didn't check my emails today.
Bani : Okay, now look at me from top to bottom. I'm looking better now right? So you can leave now. (She said seriously)
Veer had a mischievous smile on his face when she asked him to look at her from top to bottom. This was enough for him to show his naughty side again.
Veer : Gharwali, since you are giving me the permission to look at you from top to bottom so let me grab this opportunity. (He smirked and started to scan her shamelessly from top to bottom)
Bani's eyes widened when he was scanning her shamelessly and she felt quite uncomfortable so she turned the other side. He smirked at her action and turned her to face him again.
Veer : Sweetheart, I know you are feeling uncomfortable then why did you ask me to look at you from top to bottom?
She regretted for telling him that despite knowing his actions well.
Bani : My fault. Can you just leave now?
Veer : Why are you forcing me to leave? (He sounded pissed with her)
Bani : Because...(He cut in between)
Veer : Because you can't resist my charm and you are afraid that you will end up forgiving me if I stay here any longer, right? (He was trying to provoke her)
Bani just rolled her eyes.
Bani : Okay, don't go. Just stay here as long as you want. (She was tired arguing with him so she sat on the sofa in the living area)

Veer chuckled as he knew how to tackle his wife. He went and sat beside her. He was expecting her to say something but she just remained silent as she gave up. He then broke the silence.
Veer : Gharwali?
Bani : What now? (She asked exasperatedly)
Veer : Do you want something to eat? (He asked with concern)
Bani : No. (She was hungry but her ego never let her to show it)
Veer : But I want to eat something.
Bani : There is chapati and vegetable salad in the kitchen. Go and serve yourself.
Veer : Okay. (He grinned at her and left to the kitchen)
After some time he came back from the kitchen with a tray on his hands. He placed the tray on the table in front Bani and took the plate in his hand. He took a morsel near her lips and she was looking at him surprisingly.
Veer : Gharwali, I know you are hungry. (He had that "I know everything" smile on his face)
Bani : I'm not hungry. You eat first.
Veer : But I'm really hungry. I will eat only if you take the first bite. (She glared at him)
Veer again : Please? (He made a puppy face again so she opened her mouth and took the first bite)
Bani : Are you happy now? (She asked while chewing the food)
Veer : Yes, very happy. (He had his signature smile and brought the second bite near her lips)
Bani : You said only first bite so I took it. Now you eat as you're hungry.
Veer : No, you take this bite then I will take the next bite. (He forcefully fed her the second bite)
Bani's mind voice : Why are you being so kind to me now? Where were you 3 months ago? I couldn't believe the same person who is feeding me right now once judged my purity and asked me to get lost. I can't forgive you for what you did that day but your actions are forcing me to do so. (She thought while chewing the food)
Veeranshu brought the next bite near her lips again but this time she refused strongly and made him eat that. He felt happy as besides her anger, there was still concern for him. He fed her one bite and ate the next bite. He continued feeding her and himself until the plate was empty. Then he passed the glass of water to her and went to the kitchen to put back the tray. He was smiling, thinking of her behaviour while washing the plate.
Veer's mind voice : Bani, I know you are still angry with me but no matter how much you refuse, your actions are clearly proving that you still love me. I will rectify my mistakes and make you mine again, sweetheart. I have realised I can't live without you and even I knew that you can't live without me but it's just that your anger is dominating your inner feelings for me.

After washing the plate, he returned to the living area and sat beside Bani. She was trying to ignore him by checking her phone. He broke the silence first.
Veer : Bani, you know something?
Bani : I don't know. (She rolled her eyes)
Veer : Actually after 3 months I slept peacefully last night.
Bani : But I lost my peace last night. (She murmured under her breath)
Veer : What? Did you say something?
Bani : Nothing. Go ahead.
Veer : And I had a beautiful dream last night. I'm sure you will get excited when you learn what was the dream about. (He tittered)
Bani : Oh. (She replied as she didn't care but deep inside she was eagerly waiting to know)
Veer : Actually I had a dream like you were pregnant. You almost had that 7 or 8 months belly and you were looking so beautiful (Bani's eyes popped out of her socket but he failed to notice it as he was explaining in excitement) I just loved the way you looked in my dream and I can't wait for that moment in real, sweetheart. (He then looked at her and continued) I want to build a family with you and I want to have a baby girl like you, sweetheart.

Bani was completely shocked and speechless. She thought how could he dream of her being pregnant and if it was true or he was just trying to provoke her to reveal her pregnancy news to him. But there was no chance for him to learn the truth as only herself and Mithra knew the truth. What if Mithra told him? Various types of questions were running in her mind as soon as he told her about his dream. She was so lost in her own thoughts until Veeranshu caught her lost in her own world and shook her in order to bring her back to the reality.
Veer : Gharwaliii???
Bani : Haan?
Veer : Where were you lost?
Bani : No where.
Veer : Don't lie. I know you must be imagining about the dream I told you right? (He smirked)
Bani glared at him but he continued.
Veer : Sweetheart, it won't happen if you keep on imagining it. Instead, we should take the step to make it happen. (He chuckled and Bani's eyes got widened)
Bani : Shut up, Veeranshu!
Veer : Shall we take the step now? You know what I mean? (He started to tease her)
Bani : Stop it, Veer. Get out now! (She yelled)
Veer burst out laughing, looking at her cute angry bird face.
Veer : Gharwali, I was just joking. Calm down, baby. I won't proceed without your permission. (He winked)
Bani's mind voice : Idiot, your child is already growing inside me but now you are talking like a gentleman. His wife is already pregnant here but he's saying that he won't proceed without my permission. Where did this gentleman go that day before all this happened?
Veer : Bani, I can read on your face that you are scolding and murdering me in your thoughts. (He giggled)
Bani : Yes, I was scolding you.
Veer : Really? Why? (He asked, making a pout)
Bani : Because you are annoying me and it's going to be 5pm now so better leave before Mithra and Arjun come back from the office.
Veer : Okay, I agree you are afraid of Mithra but why that Arjun? (He asked annoyingly)
Bani : Because I don't want any of them to know that you are my husband. Can you just leave now?
Veer's mind voice : This will change, sweetheart. I will make you feel proud to announce to the world that I'm your husband and I will make it happen soon.
Veer : Okay, I'm leaving. (He got up from the couch and Bani too)
They went near the main door and Bani was about to open the door but he pulled her for a hug. She didn't protest but at the same time she didn't reciprocate the hug too. He hugged her tightly to show how much he was missing her all the while and broke the hug after few minutes. He cupped his face and thought she would scold him but she just remained quiet so he took it as a signal to place a kiss on her forehead. Bani thought if she remained quiet then he would do more so pushed him slowly and looked at him.
Bani : It's getting late. Please go.
Veer : Okay, sweetheart. Take care of your health. See you tomorrow. (He gave her a flying kiss and left)
