The Beginning
The Singhania mansion was alive with the hustle and bustle of wedding preparations, the atmosphere electric with excitement and anticipation. Decorated in luxurious red and gold, the glory of the occasion reflected in every corner, from the elegant floral arrangements to the detailed decorations draping the walls. Yet, beneath the surface, tension existed especially in the heart of the groom.
Veer's POV:
Veer walked through the mansion clad in a black sherwani with gold embroidery. His sharp eyes took in every detail, but his mind was focused on one thing-Bani.
"Aaj meri zindagi ka sabse bada din hai," Veer thought, his heart filled with a mix of excitement and determination. He knew this was his chance to finally make Bani his, to show her how deeply he loved her.
"Agar maine aaj yeh kadam nahi uthaya, toh main Bani ko hamesha ke liye kho dunga," he thought, the very idea sending a shiver down his spine.
"Main apni poori koshish karunga usse yeh samjhane ki, ki humara rishta kitna gehra hai. Usse jeetna hi padega."
As he made his way to the mandap, his cousins Ponky, Monil, and Daksh followed behind, cracking jokes, but even they knew to keep it light. "Veer Bhai, sab kuch theek hai na?" Monil asked, half-jokingly.Veer turned to him, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"Kuch bhi galat hua, toh yaad rakhna, main kisi ko nahi chhodoonga," he said, his tone leaving no room for doubt. The cousins exchanged glances, knowing Veer meant every word.
As he approached the mandap,Tapish came near him. "Veer, ek baat bata, kya tumhe yeh shaadi karni chahiye?"Tapish asked, his tone serious.
Veer met his brother's gaze, unwavering. "Yeh meri zindagi hai, Tapish. Main Bani ko apne bina nahi dekh sakta," he replied, determination lacing his words.
"Samajhta hoon, lekin tumhe sochna hoga. Bani tumse nafrat karti hai. Kya tumne is decision ke saare sides dekhe hain?" Tapish questioned, studying Veer closely.
"Haan, mujhe pata hai,"Veer said, his voice steady. "Lekin mujhe vishwas hai ki pyaar aur time ke saath woh mujhe samjhegi. Agar maine is mauke ko kho diya, toh mujhe kabhi bhi yeh moka nahi milega."
Tapish nodded slowly, acknowledging Veer's conviction. "Mujhe tum par vishwas hai, bhai. Lekin yaad rahe, kabhi kabhi pyaar bhi ek jung hai."
"Veer, yeh sab itna jaldi kyun?"asked Balwant as he was confused with Veer's changing decisions and their speed too. Veer met his father's gaze said , "Dad, mai Bani se pyaar karta hun aur ye sab usse apna banane ke liye jaruri hai.Mai usse khona nahi chahata vo meri jindagi hai. " Balwant sighed, sensing the stubborn resolve in his son but nodded, knowing there was no changing his mind.
Bani's POV:
In her room, Bani stood in front of the mirror, her reflection staring back at her in the stunning red bridal lehenga. The weight of her dual identity Bani and Aadinaagin hung heavily on her shoulders. "Main ek naagin hoon, aur yeh shaadi sirf ek shikhar hai. Veer ko apni zindagi se nikaalne ka ek aur mauka,"she vowed silently, anger coursing through her veins.
Her Chachu and Meera Di entered the room, their concern evident in their eyes. "Bani, yeh sab theek lag raha hai tumhe?"her Chachu asked gently.
Bani forced a smile, hiding the storm within. "Haan, Papa. Yeh mera faisla hai."
Meera Di squeezed her hands, her voice soft but firm. "Hum tumhare saath hain, Bani. Tumhe akela nahi chhodenge."
Bani nodded, her resolve hardening. "Main yeh shaadi karungi di lekin apne faisle par kabhi pachtaungi nahi,"she thought, her mind already plotting her next move.

The wedding ceremony began, and the air was thick with the sound of sacred mantras and the fragrant aroma of flowers. Bani walked down the aisle. The lavish decorations of the mandap glimmered under the soft light.
As she reached the mandap, Veer's intense gaze met hers, and for a moment, everything else faded away. "Aaj tum meri ban jaogi, Bani,"he thought, a silent promise to cherish and protect her.
As they stood together at the mandap, Veer leaned in close, his voice soft yet filled with sincerity. "Bani, main jaanta hoon tum mujhse nafrat karti ho, lekin main tumse sirf pyaar karta hoon. Tum meri zindagi ho," he whispered, hoping she could see the truth in his eyes.
Bani's heart clenched, but she quickly masked her emotions. "Tumhe mere dard ka ehsaas nahi hai, Veer," she thought, her decision to seek revenge only growing stronger.
"Veer Bhai, ab aap phas gaye," Ponky joked, winking at Veeranshu.
Veeranshu chuckled, the sound soft and genuine. "Fasne ka itna bura nahi lag raha." he replied, his eyes still on Bani, who was doing her best to avoid his gaze.
Meanwhile, Ritu and her daughters, Mehek and Dehek, tried to make their presence known, their eyes scanning the crowd for any sign of attention. "Yeh shaadi toh humare fayde ke ho sakti hai .Tum log bass ameer ladko pe dhyaan do." Ritu whispered to her daughters, who nodded eagerly, trying to draw attention with their own charms .
But for Veer, there was only Bani. "Tum sab soch lo jo sochna hai, aaj se Bani sirf meri hai," he thought, his heart swelling with the knowledge that Bani would soon be his wife.
As the priest prepared for the saat pheras the atmosphere was thick with anticipation. Veer and Bani stood together at the mandap, ready to take their vows each step a promise that would bind their fates.
As Veer and Bani take the pheras, their footsteps echo the weight of their unspoken vows.
Bani's thoughts as she took pheras
“Each step feels heavy. I’ll never truly belong to him. This marriage is just a facade for my revenge. I am Aadinaagin, and my path is set; I won’t let his charm distract me from reclaiming my power. He may think he can win me over, but I won’t let my guard down. I will show him that I am strong enough to face whatever comes next.”
Veer's thoughts as he took pheras
“With each step, I am determined to show Bani that I can be the partner she needs. I won’t let my past define our future. I will fight for her happiness and prove my love, no matter the obstacles. I will protect her from the darkness around us and show her that she can trust me. My heart is set on making her see that love can be our strength, not our weakness."
It was time for Veer to apply the sindoor. He did it with deliberate slowness, his gaze locked on hers. "From this day forward, you are mine, Bani. This sindoor is not just a mark; it's a promise of my love and devotion to you,"he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
The sindoor in her maang felt like a heavy weight, but Bani kept her expression neutral. "This sindoor is just the first step towards your destruction, Veer," she thought.
As the priest then held the mangalsutra, Veer lifted it, his hands steady but his heart racing. "This mangalsutra is a symbol of my unbreakable bond with you, Bani. Each thread represents my commitment to cherish and protect you for all eternity,"he declared, carefully placing it around her neck.
Bani felt the weight of the mangalsutra settle against her chest, a tangible reminder of her new reality. "This is not just a thread; it’s a reminder of my pain and the revenge I will unleash,"she thought fiercely, vowing to turn each moment into a step toward her revenge.
As the priest held the mangalsutra in his hands, Veer’s gaze was steady and focused. He felt the importance of this moment, knowing what it meant. Carefully, he lifted the beautiful chain, his fingers gently touching its design.
Bani noticed the determination in Veer’s eyes. When he placed the mangalsutra around her neck, she felt its weight settle against her chest, reminding her of the bond they now shared for name sake.
Veer’s expression softened as he adjusted the mangalsutra, showing a deep sense of care and commitment. In that moment, he realized he was vowing to protect and cherish her.
The mangalsutra felt like a heavy chain , Bani fought to keep her face calm, but her eyes showed the storm inside her.
As the priest finished the ritual, they were declared husband and wife. Veer’s eyes sparkled with hope and determination.
Bani remained silent, her thoughts racing. "Yeh shaadi tumhare liye ek saza banegi, Veer," she though. "Main Aadinaagin hoon, aur yeh toh sirf shuruaat hai."
The marriage was complete, but both knew that this was just the beginning of love, of hate, of a battle neither could afford to lose.
