When both players have ridden to grade 3, you can now stride, to do this, discard a grade 3 (or units that add up to 3) choose a card from your G zone, and place it on your vanguard. Your initial vanguard becomes the heart card and lends it's power and name to the G unit you placed. G units have amazing skills that can turn the tide of any game.
