Encre awoke the next morning. He felt a strange chill and realized the window was wide open. Not only that but the bat from Lofy's office was there sitting on the windowsill. Encre jumped back a bit and fell off the bed, "Ouch!" Encre rubbed his skull and got up from the floor. He then looked back at the bat who was staring back intently. Encre blinked and approached the bat. The bat seemed to tense up and flew out of the window. Encre ran to the window and looked into the sky seeing the bat flying towards the forest. The bat turned around and flew up to Encre's window again then turned around and flew away.
       Encre got a strange feeling and ran out of his room and into the main room. Then he opened the door, almost forgetting to close and lock it behind him. He then took off after the strange creature. He passed familiar faces and one of them called out to him, "Good morn-- Wait, where are you going?" It was Simon and his apprentice Orion. Encre ignored them and continued towards the forest. The next person he passed was Azure, the town guard, "W-Wait! You're not allowed to go into the forest!" Azure chased after Encre, but it was too late. Encre was in the forest.
       The next thing he knew, he was lost. The he saw what he was looking for, the bat. It was perched on a fallen tree. Encre sat next to it. He was somewhere in the forest, far enough to not know how to get back and far enough for no one to know where he was. Encre realized his mistake as the bat next to his shifted. He looked over at the bat and instead saw another skeleton. Encre jumped back, "Wh-who are you?" The skeleton frowned, "You do not know me?" Encre shook his head. The stranger laughed, "I'm Fallacy. King of the vampires." Encre's eyes widened.
       Fallacy looked over at Encre, "Ah, so you know who I am?" Encre was frozen with fear. Fallacy grew angry he picked up Encre and pushed him up against a nearby tree, "I do not like to be ignored." He growled at the smaller skeleton. Encre felt tears well up in his eyes. He had a feeling that Fallacy was going to kill him. Fallacy's glare seemed to stare right into Encre's soul. Suddenly, his gaze softened. His grip on Encre loosened, but he still held him. Encre felt like he was about to pass out.
       In fact, he did. Fallacy sighed and carried the frightened skeleton bridal style all the way to his castle. He burst through the doors and went straight to the spare room. He placed Encre on the bed and left the room, being sure to lock the door behind him. Fallacy was automatically greeted by his servants, Suave, Bunny, Gazelle, and Mouse. Suave was the first to speak, "Welcome back m'lord." All of them smiled a bit. The Gazelle spoke up, "Who was that?" Fallacy frowned and she shrunk back, "No one. Do not ask again." He then made his way to his master bedroom.
