*Alternate Ending Part-1*

Frank P.O.V

I wanted to kill, but the bottle that I had shoved into my mouth was quenching the bloodthirsty hunger from the pits of my stomach. I didn't feel breathless- my lungs weren't working anymore. I tipped the bottle, hoping to catch a few more drops. Nothing, I frowned, placing the bottle down on the floor with a large, accidental force. It smashed, leaving a pile of green glass at my feet.
Gerard took me up to his room, whilst poor Mikey cleaned up my mess.

He laid my head on his chest, I listened to the silence. No heartbeat, not even my own. It was gone forever. He stroked my forehead as my stomach groaned for more blood. He assured me that I was okay, and that I would get used to things more quickly than I would expect. I had blood on my mind, I longed to smell it again. To taste the lingering metal in the red liquid. The very thought was threatening to send me into a frenzy; I wouldn't be able to control it. My eyes were still devilishly red, I would need to feed again. I didn't expect Gerard to want to let me hunt by myself, or even at all. So I'd have to wait until he fell asleep. There was no doubt that he heard my thoughts, but he probably had decided to let me do as I wished.

I had waited for hours, every now and again his grip on me would tighten, and he'd plant a kiss on various body parts. He let out a snore, clarifying that he was definitely asleep. I slowly, and quietly sat up. He didn't move, so I knew that I would be safe. I slipped my shoes on, deciding to borrow Gee's leather jacket. Seeing as mine was caked in blood, and there was a huge chance that the hospital wouldn't let me in without checking that it wasn't me who was bleeding.

I was determined to go to the hospital, to pay my dearest friend Maxie a little visit. I crept over to the window, lifting it up so that I could jump out. As Gerard had demonstrated to me in our earlier days, it was easy to climb up buildings. So I gathered that it would be just as easy to jump from their windows.
I hit the ground with a soft thud, landing on all fours. It didn't hurt, and it didn't send that weird pain up my ankles that would usually shoot up my legs. Brushing myself down, I tried to remember where the hospital was.
                                      ~>•<~

The clinical smells of bleach and lemons filled my head as I stepped through the revolving doors of the hospital. The smell masked the blood of the other patients, they didn't deserve to be harmed. But Max did, he didn't just deserve it- it was his fate.
I stalked up to the front desk, a sweet young woman was sat there, a forced smile on her face.

"Hi, can you tell me which ward Max Kovar is on, please?" I smiled back to her, making my intentions to drain him completely invisible. She turned to her computer, tapping away. She took a pen, and wrote it down for me. A wise decision; I couldn't be bothered to remember which floor.
I thanked her, she nodded. I looked down at the little yellow sheet of paper:

                                 Ward 8,
                                Recovery
                                Floor Six

I yanked the door to the stairwell open, jogging up each flight of stairs. One. Two. Four. Six. I smiled, relieved that I didn't have to continue. The whole process of climbing them was beginning to get tedious, not tiring. I was thankful for that. I pushed the door open, welcoming the silence from the ward. Sure, visiting hours were over, but who could stop me now? I was unstoppable, they couldn't touch me.
The lights were dim, but there wasn't anything that could interfere with his scent. It was like fear, and intense pain. I didn't care, so I followed it.

There he was, watching the Tv. His leg raised in the air, wrapped in a blue plaster cast. He was watching some dumb sitcom, one of those with the equally as dumb canned laughter. I stood in the doorway, waiting for him to notice. He didn't look my way, until he noticed that one of the only light sources pouring into his room had suddenly disappeared.

"Good evening." I said slyly, closing the door behind me. He froze, eyes widening, pausing the little Tv that was across the room.

"What are you doing here?" He stuttered, adjusting himself in the bed. I closed the blinds, trapping him in the room. Nobody could catch me.

"Just paying my dear friend a little visit. Seeing as you're so darn sick." I said sarcastically, edging towards him. He was sweating, I could still smell and hear the blood pumping through his body, faster now that I had arrived.

"How- how did you recover so quickly? I could've sworn that you were dying. You weren't even moving." I was very glad that he was re-living the moment. The moment where he had almost killed me.

"With a little help from my boyfriend. Are you going to bully me now, Maxie? Or is it me who's finally become the one in control of things?" I hissed, now standing at the edge of his bed. He was hyperventilating, unsure of what to do, how to act. He was finally the weak one, and he couldn't escape what I had to say, or what I was about to do.

"Look-look I'm sorry. I didn't mean what I was saying, I was frustrated. And I like taking my frustrations out on others. I-I won't do it aga-"
I held up my hand silence his stutters, he didn't deserve the right to speak. He was inferior to me now, not the other way around. His eyes were beginning to water, seeing that I was about to hurt him.

"You don't get to speak, Maxie. No-no. You've never listened to me for all of these years, therefore I won't listen to you." I silenced his whimpers, climbing onto the hospital bed. I straddled his torso, holding his arms down. He was about to wail, to scream for help, but I shut him up- by stuffing a bandage into his mouth. I held his arms down again, making sure that his neck was fully exposed.

"A polite vampire, would apologise for what would happen next. But as its you, I don't feel the need." I hissed, my teeth appearing from behind my lips. My red eyes were back, I saw them in the reflection of the window.
I listened out for the little 'pop' that his skin would make when my teeth pierced his skin. He screamed, but I rammed the bandage further down his throat. The blood tasted better than the blood from the green bottle. It was sweet, with a bitter aftertaste. I wanted to drain him dry, to leave him an empty shell. However that would be a suspicious circumstance, so I'd probably have to leave him with at least a few litres left.

My stomach had stopped growling, so I knew that I was finished. He had long since stopped fighting me, and had tired himself out. His heart was beating, but was struggling with the small amount of blood that was flowing through its chambers. I pulled away, blood dripping down my chin, two little dots on Max's neck where I had bitten him. His eyes struggled to stay open, but they followed me anyway. I held his head up, so that he could see me clearly.

"You won't remember me, ever again. If you do, I'll find you, and I'll make sure that you understand me again." My vicious, evil streak had appeared. It hadn't really shown itself before. I wiped the blood from my chin, smearing it on his face. He grunted, as I let go of him.
My boots clicked against the cold floor, as a figure waited outside the door for me.
