Chapter 1

A/N If you boy's didn't know, I rewrote this whole story and I made it a lot better then it was before! Enjoy!

"Fuck, it's cold." I said through clenched teeth. I was walking back home from the bar. I had a couple drinks because some friends wanted to go out. It was literally in the middle of fall, I do not know why I am wearing only a fucking t-shirt! I started to walk faster, kicking some leaves on the way. I breathed out, watching the mist slowly dissolve in front of me. I sighed and I looked over to my right staring at the forest next to me. It was night so I couldn't see the color changing leaves. I could hear them scutter around when the wind blew and I shuttered a little and I crossed my arms starting to walk a little faster trying to get to my new house.

I actually moved here not too long ago. My job is one that has me move here and there once in a while. I was working at my hometown before I came here, but they said I had to move closer just so that it would be easier for me. I agreed and so here I am.

I could see my house now, and I let out a sigh of relief and I relaxed my shoulders. I rubbed my arms trying to get heat to them and I was about to cross the street until I heard quick footsteps behind me. As soon as I turned around I felt someone ram right into me.

"Fuck!" I groaned out and I rubbed my head looking at whoever bumped into me.

"I am so sorry! Please forgive me! I have to go, i'm sorry!"

"Hey, wait!" I yelled at the woman, but she ran away pretty fast. I scoffed and I got off of the ground dusting myself off. I rolled my eyes and I turned back around to the street and when I seen no cars, I crossed the street. I grabbed my keys from my pocket when I was walking up the concrete stairs and I quickly unlocked my door wanting nothing but to feel warm again. I sighed in complete relief when I felt the heat from my house hit me like a damn wave. I shut my door and kicked off my shoes.

I suddenly felt face first to the ground when my dog jumped on my back. I laughed and I tried my best to turn on my back so I could give my dog some pats. She was a good dog, she loved to play and she took commands pretty well. I had her since I was 15 and I got my cat 4 years ago. I eventually got my dog off of me and I got up and dusted myself off. I stretched out of being tired and so I went around the house turning off the lights and I put my pets in my room. I have a fairly big house. 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, a nice sized kitchen, a big living room, a dining room, and a finished basement. I wasn't really looking for a big house, not really looking for anything that was luxurious in the first place. But this was - strangely - in my budget and so I just got it. I'm not going to be living here for long anyways, so I didn't really unpack much. My job told me that I was to stay here for a couple of months and I just shrugged it off and said sure.

I yawned and turned the corner into my bedroom. I had my bed all ready and set up and I watched as my pets piled onto the bed and I chuckled. I gently pushed them out of my way and I cuddled up into the blankets ready for the much needed sleep.

"SHUT UP ALREADY!" I yelled and I threw my alarm clock at my far wall and I groaned as my dog started to bark at my actions.

"Lucy! Zip it!" I commanded and she instantly shut up, to my relief and I slowly got up from my soft and beautiful bed and I reluctantly got out of the bed and I shuffled over to my bedroom door and I almost cringed at the cold metal handle and I sighed and let the pets out of my room. They went to go do their business and I went to go to the bathroom to do mine.

I undressed and I turned the shower to my preferable temp. I walked into the shower standing there for maybe a minute or two letting the water run over and soothe my aching muscles. I had a really bad headache and the water was helping a little. I'm gonna have to take some aspirin when I get out of the shower. I sighed and I started to clean myself.

Once I was done with that I turned off the shower before it could get cold and I opened up the curtain to get out. It was pretty steamy in the bathroom so I had to wipe down the mirror so I could see myself shave and brush my teeth.

I got done with all of that and I went to go get ready for work.

"Good morning, (y/n)!" Susan said from the front counter when I walked in and I nodded saying hello. I checked in and walked away. I went down some plain hallways with printers or water fountains. I went to my left and I quickly went inside the closing elevator. I sighed in relief and I pressed the button to the 3rd floor and I stood back for the somewhat long wait.

"It's a good day today!" The woman next to me said and I hummed letting her know I agreed.

"By the way, are you new?" She asked me and I sighed.

"Yeah, i'm new." I said and from the corner of my eye, I seen her bounce excitedly.

"Oh goodie! By the way, what's your name?" She asked me and I rolled my eyes and rubbed my face.

"Its' (y/n), your's?" I asked her and looked at her.

"My name is Rosa, it's very nice to meet you sir!" She said and she stuck out her hand. I shook it and nodded. The elevator then made a small dig and I was on my floor.

"I'll see you sometime, Rosa." I said and she waved as I walked out of the elevator.

Her eyes, are they contacts?
