Reiji's P.O.V

I couldn't understand why he wanted us to see her. She was someone who hurt people. Her ideas we're cruel. She was everything opposite of Lucy. She was the start of those nightmares and Lucy was the one to stop them. If it wasn't for her- I shook my head.

I didn't need to think of her like that. We agreed to be there for our daughter, and I made one to myself. To care for Lucy, not continue to fall in love with her.

Lunch

Lucy's P.O.V

I returned to the nurse's room to speak to Karl Heinz. As much as I felt like I shouldn't pry into Reiji's private life, knowing that this woman would somehow be involved in our future and at one point in time in his past I wanted to know just who she was. "Curious?" I looked at him and nodded. He looked at a bench. "Sit"

"The woman that you mentioned earlier-"

"Oh Rei-chan, she is a woman who was once an eve but she left after she realized what she was in for, well more like the one she chose, in the end, didn't want her."

"Reiji wasn't interested in her?" He nodded.

"Yes, a woman who became a doctor at such a young age, he didn't pay attention to. No matter what she did."

"And now here I am, in the way of her chance of him to love her." It sucked to love someone and in the end realize that they felt nothing for you but someone else instead. You try to ignore it but it doesn't work. Love, is that what I called it?

He took out a bento. "Make sure you eat." I nodded before taking it.

"Thank you" I went to the roof and sat before opening the box. The food looked delicious.

I began to eat and couldn't help but smile. It tasted delicious as well. "Lucy" I turned around.

"Reiji-kun"

"You weren't in your classroom so I thought you might have been here." He walked up to me. "Are you ok-" A growl was heard causing his face to redden. "Excuse me" I giggled before I took an egg in my chopsticks.

"Reiji-kun, say ahh." His face reddened even more.

"Lucy what are you doing?" I blushed before I giggled.

"You are hungry right?" He nodded. "Then eat" He took a bite of the egg before he arched a brow.

"Did someone bring you a bento?" I nodded.

"Yeah, how did you know?"

"I know because it doesn't taste like your cooking."

"Hmmm well, tonight after our appointment do you want me to make you something?"

"Sure"
