Reiji's P.O.V

I felt a flash of heat spread it's way across my face. I looked at Lucy to see her tears spilled and running down her cheeks. Her cheeks were flushed and she had been glaring at me, which I returned. "You don't understand the true meaning of why I did this for you, don't you?" I didn't say anything causing her to scuff. "I guess you don't?" She didn't say anything after that. Instead, she went back to making breakfast.

For the rest of the day she seemed to do everything for me. Tidy up the house, solve disputes, and help manage the bills, but she ignored me. Even though we shared the same room, she didn't speak to me, she barely even looked at me. Which I hated. If it was not for a selfish reason, why else did she do this?

Lucy's silent treatment continued for nearly a month which pissed me off. Of course, she continued to help me with the house and even let me drink some of her blood but didn't speak nor look at me. At times I tried to speak to her but failed. She really had been a strong-minded woman. I hated to do it but since Yui had been the only other girl in the house, I had to get her to speak to Lucy.

Lucy's P.O.V

I had been staring at the stars when I heard a soft knock on the door. It must have been Yui. I went to open the door and seen Yui. I arched a brow. "Lucy-san, can we speak?" I nodded before letting her in and sitting down. She closed the door and sat in the chair next to me. 

"Lucy-san, since you have been here, the guys haven't been treating me as bad. I wanted to say thanks." I gave her a small smile before I giggled. 

"Anything for you Yui-sama. Also if you want you don't have to use, san, at the end of my name." She looked surprised at the fact that I used such a high honorific but nodded. 

"Is Lucy-chan....no Lu-chan okay?" I nodded my head. "You don't have to call me Yui-sama if you don't want to." It was my turn to be surprised.

"Oh, it's just that I honor you a lot for caring for them. They seem to open up to you more you know, even Ayato and Subaru. They like you, you know?" Her cheeks reddened making me giggle. "Ahh, Yui, our father-in-law wouldn't want one of his eves to get so embarrassed would he?" 

"Umm...ummm...ummm" She looked down with a blush.

"Now, I know you didn't come here just to talk right? Did Reiji send you here?" She nodded. "I should have known. What does he want?" She looked up. 

"Well, he wants to know why you are avoiding him?" 

"That man, he wants to know why I am avoiding him? Tell him that he will just have to figure that out for himself." 

"Lu-chan" I sighed. When it came to her, it was hard to hide something. She didn't deserve to be in the middle of this.
