Reiji's P.O.V

Lucy stared at my father in shock before she looked at me. I glared at her only for her to look at me pleadingly. I then sighed and looked next to me. She sat next to me before we looked ahead at the man. "So it seems that you two are finally married." He said with a bright smile on his face. "I'm happy" Lucy's eyes widened.

"So you are the one who did it?" He arched a brow before he smirked at her.

"I am but I didn't truly do it. I got you two drunk and it was you two's decision to get married. If anything, you were the one to ask him to marry you, Lucy." I felt the heat rise up my cheeks and looked at Lucy to see her in the same predicament.

"Reiji" She looked at me. "I....we...."

"I guess you two had consummated your marriage as well that night. Hmm, I guess if you two don't want a baby now then you might want to do something. Knowing Reiji, he probably didn't use a-"

"She understands," I said before she looked down in confusion. My father smirked before he stood up and moved her face up to look at him.

"Good," He said causing her face to heat up even more.

Lucy's P.O.V

It was my fault. I was the one who asked him to marry me and yet, all I did was complain. No wonder why I hurt him. It was my fault...."My fault" I wanted to look away from the man but his grip on my face made it hard.

"What's wrong Lucy?"

"Oi," We looked next to us to see a pissed off Reiji.

"I don't appreciate you holding onto my wife's face like that." The man smirked before he let go of my face, patting my head, and walking away. His voice echoed through the halls as he said his last sentence before he left.

"Welcome to the family Mrs. Lucy Heartfilia Sakamaki."

Reiji's P.O.V

I walked inside my room to see Lucy staring out the window, stuck in deep thought as she tried to process the news she had just heard.

She watched the stars as they began to flicker like fireflies causing her to slightly touch her heart. "I'm sorry but I have to stay. Just until that man lets me leave." I glared at her. Was she talking about me? I didn't want her to stay in pain. If anything I wanted her to leave so I could finally get over her and yet she stayed. I walked up to her. Pinning her against the window.

"I hate you." I couldn't help but say it. She did nothing but stomp on my heart and yet she told me that I had loved her. That's why I couldn't hurt her. Well, she had another thing coming. Her eyes, they pissed me off, her face, everything about her. I hated her and yet for some reason I still loved her.

Still, she was not the same woman I met in my dreams.

I buried my head in between her neck before biting into it. I heard her gasp before cringing. Making me back up. I stated at her in anger causing her to stare back at me in fear.

"I'm sorry"
