Two and a Half Hours Later

Reiji's P.O.V

As I rested in bed I couldn't sleep. Lucy was having a baby, this was actually happening. The woman who of my dreams was having my baby. I looked at the sleeping woman. She was so beautiful and pure, I finally understood the 'glow' she had been said to have. Her face had been fluorescent in the moonlight. Her lips had a good of their own. I wanted to kiss her but if I did, I felt like she would be angry.

My beautiful wife, such a treasure she was. Everything about her had a story of its own and I wanted to keep her to myself, even though I knew that there had been a possibility of someone else coming to claim her. As long as she was happy then so was I.

I wondered if I really was just the father of our daughter to her. Was that all? We may have not been married long but she didn't divorce me yet. So at least I knew she wanted to stay. I rubbed her back. Lucy nuzzled into my neck and wrapped her arm around my waist while she entangled her legs into mine. "Reiji-kun"

"Yes, Lucy?"

"When Rini is born, can we visit my home?" She looked at me. "Only if you want to." I sighed before I touched her left cheek.

"I want to go. It is good for Rini to get to know her other side of the family." I smiled at her causing her to let out a small smile back. "So when do you think we should meet your parents?" Her smile dropped.

"We could meet my family in about three months or maybe four after she is born since I feel like she will be fine by then and we will be used to her." She was hiding something.

"Is there something wrong?"

"It's nothing really."

"Lucy"

"I don't want to talk about it." She looked at me.

"Lucy" She sat up and covered her eyes.

"I'm sorry" She stood up. I pulled her back to me and held her in my arms.

"Your parents...there is something your hiding aren't you?"

"They both passed years ago." My eyes widened.

"Lucy I'm sorry"

"It's fine, I just don't like to talk about it much."

"When you are ready we can talk about it." I touched her cheeks. "Okay?" She nodded. 

"Yeah" I finally had a chance. I moved my face closer to hers but stopped as she looked to be in thought causing me to arch a brow.

"What?"

"You and Shu, why are you two so distant?" I looked away from her.

"That good for nothing."

"Reiji-kun, he is your brother. If I had a sibling I would want to have a good relationship with them."

"Why should I when he has had everything in his life given to him?"

"Reiji-kun, you both were hurt young, but the past, you two are letting it rip you two apart. I want you all to be happy."

"What can you do?"

"I want to help." I felt my cheeks heat up. Yui tried to help but I let my feelings get the best of me. Lucy brought down my wall and no matter how many times I tried to bring it back up I hurt her. I sighed.

"Fine" She let out a small smile.

"Great"
