After your long trechourous journey, you come across a welcome sign, exhausted you collapse using the old sign to balance yourself you groggily move towards a cave where you'll spend the day. Day passes and you come out of the cave fully rested. Your retractable fangs hunger for blood and your stomach growls you moan and lean on the sign and you finally get the chance to read it. It reads,"Pyre Town: 500 meters" your stomach howls again. "C'mon just a few more-" you collapse and your stomach yowls, you know you can't die but you're so weak, so hungry, the end is near but fate isn't like that, a wandering bat stops and looks at you. "Wow you're a mess," she says turning into a young 14 year old girl. The girl looks over to the sign. "Oh you're heading for Pyre, that's where I live." Your stomach growls and the girl laughs. "What a sorry little bat you must be," she chuckles. The girl whips out a fly the size of a sausage. "I just caught this but you can have it!" You hungrily munch on the fly and your stomach calms down. "I never asked your name," you say and the 14 year old laughs. "I'm Merida, daughter of the blacksmith in the town." You sigh. "Are you strong enough to become a bat?" You nod and change as does Merida. "I want to know more about you, but on the way."
