Chapter 4 - Petrovians

Finally, the next Monday, we got into Aunt Linda's vehicle and drove to a bus stop. "Promise me you'll keep checking in with me on every two days?" she asked, as i got out of the car. "I promise." i said, hugging her. "Remember now, i haven't given your name there as Rosemary de Villers Kingsway, since the Strikers would probably search you by your family name. Your name here is Rosemary Kingsway, a normal American teenager, the new student of Petrova High School. You'll do great, even though you have your...things and everything. Be safe dear." she said, letting go of me and wiping her eyes. She was right, i had to keep my eyes open for any kind of danger around. "Bye Aunt Linda!" i waved at her and taking a deep breath, i said, "Looks like its just me and you again Ro!" to my inner subconscious. Me and you again Rose. she replied back, and with a small poof of air, glittering softly, i saw my inner self. I called her Ro, and she called me Rose. Of course she was invisible to anyone but me, but if she wanted, she can be seen to anyone and also make everyone hear her. She looked exactly me, but with completely red eyes, marking my vampire self. But even though they looked evil, they still gave you a feeling of kindness in them. They would look different like bright red rubies of anger, if anyone ever harms me.

I walked to a huge ass group of boys and girls, dressed in their uniforms like me: Girls in skirts and heels, boys with leather shoes. The common thing between them was the differently colored ties, blazers and the color of the uniform: black and white. The girls turned to look at me, but shot dirty looks at me. The boys however whistled. "Hey! Keep your eyes off of her!" I heard a girl shout behind me. I turned to see a girl about my height, with her long red hair tied in a ponytail. "Thanks!" i said as she neared me and the boys went off to another corner. "Anytime. Just stay away from them. They're the players of the school. I'm Luna! Plus you have AMAZING eyes!" she said, hugging me. "Well thanks, I'm Rose."

She's great! It was pretty nice of her to help you even though she doesn't know you. Another minute and I would've put your bottle of water on their head, considering i couldn't actually do anything else. I heard Ro say, and I giggled. "Come on! If we don't get onto the bus now, we may have to stand for the rest of the ride!" she said, and pulled me inside. It already had few students inside. She waved someone at the back of bus and pulled me towards whoever it was. "Rose! This is my cousin Oscar! Oscar, this is Rose. She's new!" she said, pointing to a red haired boy, who shook my hand, looking remarkably like Luna herself. "Settle down students!" said a voice from the front of the bus, over all the noise of bustling students who were piling in. "I hope you all have everything you need in your suitcases, since you'll be allowed to go back to your homes only after next week. Now if you don't mind George, I'll prefer if you'd stop whistling if you want to be kicked out of the football team for disobedience." said a teacher who wore round spectacles. A boy at the front stopped whistling. "That's Miss Dominique, Vice Principal." said Oscar. "Mind you, she loves taking out points from our houses."

"Houses?" i asked them. "Yeah, that's how they give us our dorms." said Luna. "The names of the houses are of gemstones. Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond and Cymophane. Even our ties' colors are based on the color of each gem. I'm in Ruby. Oscar's in Diamond."

Then we started moving. I sat quietly until we reached a castle like school, reminding me a LOT of the Academy. Don't worry, I'll be with you, everyday, every time. said the comforting voice of Ro. "Thanks Ro." I whispered back to her.

Here we go.
