*Damian's pov*

The last thing I had seen and heard in front of my eyes before closing my eyes was Rose looking down at me, and whispering an apology, then i felt a bite in my neck. I passed out after that. After a very uneasy dream of being thrown away by a wolf, I woke up, to see Luna and Oscar in front of me. "You're awake." said Luna, who looked like she had been crying. "Where am i? What happened?" i asked urgently.

"What was the last thing you remember before falling asleep?" Oscar asked, handing me a glass of water. "Well, the last thing i remember what I did was push you away from a large dog, then i fell." i said. Then, Finn and Roland walked in. "How're you feeling bro?" Finn asked me. "My head is aching. Hang on. Where's Rose?" I asked, looking around. "She, well, she went to sleep when she saved your life, mate." Roland said. I got up angrily. "Where is she? I'm not asking again!"

"She bit you to prevent you from dying because of werewolf venom, but considering that it was her first time even drinking blood, she's in a very deep sleep. I don't know when she'll wake up. Her last record was one week." said a girl, who had the same eyes as Rose's. "Can i see her?" I asked. "Sure, but you need to be careful." she took me to a locked room. But when she opened it, I saw Rose lying in the middle of the floor, facing the ceiling. "No! Rose!" and i fell next to her. Her eyes were closed but i could see small drops of water on her forehead. "Are these tears?" I asked Tori. She nodded. "Even in her deepest of sleeps, she gets nightmares. If only Ro could come out, we'd know how Rose is on the inside."

"Ro can come out!" said Luna running into the room. "We can see her." she said, panting. "Very good then. Try and get her out." Tori replied, sitting on the bed. Luna got down next to Rose and held her hand. After about a minute, a image of a girl who looked exactly Rose appeared out of thin air. "Luna! Thank God!" and she hugged her. Then she turned to look at me. "Yeah, I know. You're wondering what I am. I'm Rosemary's inner consciousness. She made a very tough decision about biting you. She was afraid of losing you. Trust me, we think the same." she said softly. "What's going on in her head Ro?" Tori asked. 'Ro' looked down. "Nightmares of her entire life. I don't have much time either. I need to help her get through it. I won't be able to come out until she wakes up again." and then she just disappeared. Tori smiled. "It had been a long time since I saw Ro. What's wrong Damian?" she asked when she saw that I was quiet. I didn't speak.

It had been almost two weeks and Rose hadn't woken up yet. I hated seeing her like this. We had normal school, no one actually knew what happened on Halloween, but they think that we all escaped from whatever attacked us. Everyday after school, I came to her room and sat next to her, thinking about when she would wake up. One Saturday morning, i was in her room, looking at her when all the others walked in, after finishing their breakfast, followed by Tori, and Rose's uncle! "Hey guys." i said. "Damian, son, it's time you know what exactly is going on." and he sat down. "Do you remember about the book you took from the library? The Two Realms?" and I nodded. "Whatever you read in that book is all true. Rose, is the princess. They've been trying to hunt her down for a very long time. On Halloween, one of them just missed her heart by an inch. We're lucky that she's still here. And the Strikers don't know which school she is in. They only know that she was at the party." but then, i felt someone squeeze my palm very hard. But it didn't hurt. I looked down and saw that it was Rose.
