Lanie's pov

It's early in the morning and Jin called me and Minji downstairs. He sat us next to moms unconscious body and gave us both a wet towel to clean her skin. He started speaking to us about how amazing she was and how they all met her and immediately got along with her so well. He told us how jungkook was mom's first friend out of all of them and the huge fear mom had of dad when she first saw him.

"Papa called." Minji says wiping mom's delicate hand.

"Did you answer?"

"Yes."-Minji

"What did he say? Did he ask for mom?"

"He wanted to see how she was doing. I lied and said she went on a trip with hyuna and Lisa and she left us with dad." -Minji

"When did he call you?" -Jin

"3 days ago." -Minji

We heard a loud knock coming from the back doo and Jin furrowed his eyebrows while looking at us. He stopped checking mom's health and went to open it. A furious Rose walked in.

"Where's lana? She hasn't answered any of my calls." -rose

"You don't know?"

Dad finally came downstairs.
"Morning to you too."

"Jimin wheres lana?" -rose

"Jackson didn't tell you?" -Dad

"Tell me about what?" -rose

"Mom's in a coma." Minji says with glossy eyes. "She's been knocked out for a week"

Aunt rose goes stiff. Her eyes are wide and watery. "Your kidding right? Tell me your lying"

"Why would we joke around with things like this?" -Jin

"Where is she? What happened?!" She asked with tears about to fall from her eyes.

"Your sister got shot." A random voice said coming from the stair case. We all turned to it and there stood Namjoon glaring at her with a sad look on his face.

"What? why? when? Who did this to her?!" -rose

"A cartel that was behind Jimin came and shot up the place. Your sister was shot protecting him." -Namjoon

"Why the hell didn't you keep her away?" Aunt rose yelled at dad. His face went serious and he glared at her.

"Don't you fucking think i tried? I put your sister before me all the time." he clapped back.

"Yeah I can tell! That's why she's in a coma!" -rose

"Who the hell is yelling so early in the morning?" Yoongi sighed coming downstairs.
Jungkook was behind him carrying Eunwoo.

"Does my dad know this?" -rose

"No. He thinks Lana's in vacations." -Dad

"What if Lana doesn't wake up? Who the hell is gonna tell him the truth?" -rose

"Stop being so negative. Let's hope she wakes up and remembers us." -yoongi

"Remembers us? What do you mean? Where the hell did the bullet hit her?" -rose

"In the side of her head. The chance of her not remembering us is pretty high. I tried to do everything I can but it's not working." -Jin

Minji's eyes were teary. I scoot close to her and wrap an arm around her shoulders. "Hey it's okay. Don't cry. I love you"

She looks up and smiles. "I love you too."

Rose storms out the house crying. Minji starts to tremble when she hears the front door being slammed. Every loud noise reminded her of the gunshots and dad knew. He approached her with glossy eyes and pecked her forehead. "I love you Minji," he looks at me too. "I love you too lanie. Please always keep that in mind. Both of you."

I felt my heart stop beating. I felt so hurt I wanted to yell, cry, scream and beg god to bring my mom back. I wanted her to wake up and tell me that she loves me. I wanted to feel her warm arms around me tugging me in bed like she did when I was little. I really needed her back.

Minji's pov

I took my pills to stop myself from shaking and ran behind aunt rose. I knew exactly how she felt that's why I wanted to spent time with her.

"Unnie" I called out in a low tone. Rose turned to me wiping her tears. She immediately opened her arms for me and I ran into them.

"I-" i couldn't even say anything because I bursted out crying. "Don't say anything." She said combing my hair with her fingers.

After a moment of silence she spoke up. "I'm such a bad sister." She says. I let go of her and look up to her. "Why do you say that?" I ask her. She starts to cry. "I left her all alone. I left her when she needed me the most. I should've known she was struggling." She says tapping her head in anger. "I should've known somebody was hurting her." She stops, breathes in deep and looks at the floor. "She fucking hates me but i don't blame her i would've hated me too."

I don't talk I just listen to her speak about mom.

"All this time I was gone I just wanted the best for your mom. I always wished she was doing okay. I looked for her when Jackson told me she was alive. Even if I couldn't speak to her from close up I was fine watching her from far away." she stops and cleans her non stopping tears. "I love her so much Minji you don't even know. I'm so glad she found jimin. She literally found her happiness in him. The most exciting part about this is you guys," she said pointing at me. "She had you guys and She never wanted kids. Now look at her with two beautiful girls. I'm jealous of her because of it. She's now enjoying the mom life I always wanted."

"I'm an immortal. I can't make children anymore that's why I want her to wake up from that bed and keep enjoying her life." -rose

I cry into my hands and rose hugs me. "You're so pretty when you cry I don't know if anybody has told you that"

My lips curve a little. "Dad tells me that."

"Did he also tell you that you look so much like your mom? You look like the spitting image of her but in younger version" -rose

"Yeah he did, he also says I act exactly like her."

"Your Dad is doing a great job raising you girls. I hate him but I just have to say his doing An amazing job." -rose

I smile and lean my head on her shoulder. She smiled and leans her head on mine.

Lisa came out running and yelling, "I think Lanie is having an anxiety attack." Aunt rose immediately stood up and ran to inside for her.

"What happened?!" I ask zooming behind

"I don't know she started shaking so bad when the movie came on." -jk

"What? That's weird." -rose

"Now I see why." I say pointing at the tv. "Look at all that blood."

"Ohhhhhhhhh. She has hemophobia." Rose says staring at lanie and back at the tv.

"Hemo What?" I ask As I hugged lanie.

"Hemophobia. She fears blood." -rose

"That's weird. Everybody in this house drinks that. Why would she be scared of it?" -tae

"Maybe because Lana was scared of it too?" -rose

"That's the only thing she craves now." -Jin

"But before she turned into the creature she she is right now. She was scared of blood. She would turn very pale and weak everytime she saw a lot of it." -rose

"Woah your kids are really taking after their mom, Jimin." -jhope

"For real. First Minji who gets the same anxiety attacks as her and now Lanie who has the same phobia she used to have." -tae

"This is so out of topic but something came up in my head." -Namjoon

"What?" -yoongi

"Don't you think Lana loosing her memory would be kinda of a good thing?" -Namjoon

"What are you saying?"

"She'll forget the pain she went through. She'll forget Jiyong and his brother." -Namjoon

"His brother?" Aunt rose says, "what does Jinyoung have to do with this? I mean he liked her but why is he involved in this?"

"He kidnapped her after Jiyong went missing." -jhope

"Wait What Why?" -rose

"He was looking for his brother and I guess he blamed everything on your sister and took it all out on her." -Namjoon

Aunt rose eyes go watery again. She looked down and her tears fell to her legs.  "This is all my fault. I wish I had stayed with her. Ugh I'm so stupid." She says hitting her head. "I wish I had died."

"Stop blaming yourself." -Jin

"No. She should. It was all her fault." Dad pointed at her.

"Yeah it was And also your stupid mom's." -jk

"DONT YOU EVER CALL HER STUPID AGAIN!" Rose angrily zoomed into his face and threw the coffee table that was in her way.

"The truth hurts huh?" Jk said licking his lips.

"I will murder you Jungkook. Keep my mom out of this. She has absolutely nothing to do with this." -rose

"Are you sure?" -tae

"You think you know it all rose But you don't." -Namjoon

"I KNOW MY MOM!" -rose

"Yeah sure, since you lived with Lana all her life." Yoongi sarcastically said looking at her.

Rose was tearing up more in defeat. "W-What did she do?"

"She never paid attention to Lana. She basically abandoned her family. She blamed your dad for your death as an excuse to leave him and your sister found out she was having an affair with another guy before she divorced your dad." -jimin

"Mom would never." -rose

"Whatever. That's up to you to believe" -jimin

"D-Dad," lanie says slowing facing him, "I want to meet her. I want to meet my mom's Mother."

"What? Are you crazy?" I asked her

"Lanie, that lady has no idea you girls exist."-Dad

"I don't care I want to meet her." -lanie

"I'm sorry lanie. That's something your mom needs to decide on." -Dad

"Why do you want meet someone who's so toxic?" -jungkook

The hatred Jungkook had for grandma was so big I can almost smell it.

Everything went silent and I felt like tearing up. My crying would stop and come back every while. I hated it. I just wanted to be happy but I had a hard time. There's nothing to even smile about anyways.

"Dad, what if mom doesn't wake up?" He looks at me with a sadden face. Everyone stopped their tracks and looked at me too. "What if the machine stops beeping and her heart fails? What if she stays in a coma for years? What if she doesn't wake up before Christmas?" I asked him as my body fails me on holding Everything in. He comes closer and I cry uncontrollably at his touch.

"Minji stop, baby stop. Your mom will get better. She has to." -Dad

"IM TIRED OF HEARING THAT! IM SO TIRED! I FEEL LIKE IM GOING INSANE."

"Minji please stop." Lanie says with teary eyes. She tries to touch me but I push her arm away and run upstairs.

I slammed my door and threw myself on my bed. I squish the covers as my face cried into the pillow. It wasn't even a while when my door opened and someone walked in. I didn't even bother to see who it was.

This person just lays them self next to me and plays with my hair. I finally gather the courage to turn around and see.

"I purple you." He says. I don't respond or even ask what the hell that meant I just stare at him.

"Do you know what purple means?" He asks, "Purple is the last color of the rainbow colors so it means i will trust and love you for a long time."

Although I didn't want to show it my smile grew. "Is that true?" I asked

"I just made that up." -tae

I laugh and gently hit his chest. He grins big like an idiot and hugs me. "I want you to trust me from now on. I want you to tell me everything that goes on in your head. Maybe i can help" he stops and stares at the ceiling, "trust me like I trust you please."

I nod and dig myself deeper into his arms. He plants a kiss on my forehead and we stay like that for what it seemed hours.
