(Flame's POV)

I was running through the forest on a rainy night, boy was I wrong to not look at the weather channel.

You see, I'm trying to find my brother out here, but I got caught in the rain and now I'm starting to catch a cold.

"Ooh g-geez..." I shivered from the cold rain pouring on me. "T-There's gotta be a shelter around here.." I looked around. Then, I saw a castle up ahead. I ran up to it and looked up.

"Whoa...this castle is enormous..." I muttered. I then slowly opened one of the two large wooden doors and peeked my head inside. "Hello..?" I glanced around and stepped inside, closing the door behind me.

I grabbed a torch from the wall and snapped my fingers, causing a small red fireball to form. I lit up the torch and looked around.

This place is beyond creepy....

I then walked through the dark hallway to try and find a room to stay in for the night.

(Sonic's POV)

I was laying on my throne looking very bored. I yawned a bit and sighed. "Man...I wish something interesting would happen for once.."

Then, I suddenly sensed someone in the castle, that's not a vampire. I growled lowly. "An intruder.." I then rushed upstairs to my room and went up to a clear crystal ball on a table.

"Show me the intruder." I ordered it.

The crystal ball glowed brightly, then showed an image of a dark pink hedgehog walking through the hallway, looking a little scared and curious. My eyes widened slightly when I saw her, I gently touched the crystal ball, staring at her.

"Such beauty and purity..." I whispered to myself. "Her eyes are like the calm, sparkling blue ocean, and her fur looks so silky and soft...she must be mine.." I smirked. "Guards!" I shouted, and three of my vampire guards ran up to me. "Y-Yes, your Highness?" They asked nervously.

I pointed to the crystal ball. "Bring that girl to me, I want her." I ordered. "Yes, your majesty." The guards nodded and ran off to find the girl.

I chuckled to myself as I turned back to the crystal ball. "Very soon, that girl will be mine. I'll make sure of it."
