You sat quietly in the kitchen, as you watched Levi cook the instant noodles.
Your brows scrunched together in thought.
"Oi, brat. You okay?" Levi asks, snapping you out if your thoughts.
"Oh nothing, just thinking about something." You say casually.
"About what?" Levi asked.
"Um, I was just wondering how you got hurt." You say hesitantly.
"Tch, about time you asked. I mean who let's someone, who is injured by the way, into their home, not asking about shit." Levi says as he pops the instant noodles into the pot.
"So are you going to tell me?" You asked.
"Yeah, but its only because you've been kind enough to let me stay." Levi says as he waits for the noodles to be finished.
After a few minutes, the noodles were ready, and Levi set down two bowls, filling both of them.
He sets one down in front of you, as he sits across from you.
"I was attacked by a titan." Levi says casually as he takes a bite of food.
"A what?" You question.
"A titan, it's a vampire, but at the same time its not." He explains.
"How so?" You ask him as you raise an eyebrow.
"Titans, unlike vampires, are almost invincible." He says seriously.
"Almost? Then that means that they have a weakness, right?" You ask.
"Yeah, and that would be the nape of their necks, and that's where I come in. I am part of a vampire organization called the Scouts. They extermine titans, but its a very dangerous job. Many vampires, along with humans have perished by the hands of the titans." Levi says as he stares at his food.
"I'm sorry." You say, causing Levi to snap his head up.
"Why are you saying sorry?" He asks.
"Because, it sounds like you lost people important to you." You say, as you got up and hugged him comfortly.
Levi's eyes widen, before returning to their normal state.
You heard Levi click his tounge as he looks to the side, that was when you spotted a small patch of pink on his cheeks.
"Aww~, is the stoic vampire blushing, how cute~." You tease.
"S-Shut it, brat!" Levi shouts, but as you were about to tease him some more, you heard a knock at your door.
"Huh, that's odd. Who would that be, usually no one visits here." You say as you got up, and made your way towards the door.
"Wait! Don't open the do-" Levi tried to warn you, but it was too late, you opened it, revealing a bispecticled woman with messy brown hair.
She squealed as she saw you, before giving you a bone crushing hug.
"L-Levi, who's this!?" You asked frantically as you tried to get out of her grip, only to fail miserably.
"Tch, what are you here for, Shitty-glasses?" Levi hisses as he lifts the woman off of you, by the scruff of her shirt.
"Erwin wasn't lying when he said that you found residence with a human." The woman said as she managed yoe get out of Levi's grasp, before coming towards you.
"And I must say so myself, she's quite the looker, too." The woman says as she takes a closer look at you.
"What's your name, mines Hanji!" The woman now known as Hanji exclaims as she takes your hand and shakes it frantically, causing your body to shake.
"I-Im (F-F/N-N) (L/N-N)." You say as she continues to wildly shake your hands.
"Well its nice to meet ya!" She says enthusiastically.
"Tch, stop shaking her hands, otherwise they're gonna fall off." Levi says as he once again pulls her away from you.
"T-Thanks." You mutter, earning a nod from Levi.
"You still haven't answered my question, Shitty-glasses. What the hell are doing here?" Levi hisses.
"Oh, Erwin asked me to check up on you." Hanji says.
"Well, tell him I'm doing fine, now leave." Levi says as he pushes Hanji put the door.
"Ah, but, hold on, Levi!" Hanji sputters out, before being pushed out the door.
When Hanji went to turn around, Levi slammed the door in her face.
Levi let's out a frustrated sigh, before turning around, facing a dumbfounded you.
"Tch, don't mind her, she's fucking insane. More so than you." Levi says as he walk by.
"H-Hey, Levi that was mean~." You whine.
You could've sworn you heard him chuckle as he went to the kitchen in order to finish our meals.
But, before you took another step, you heard the door slam open with a loud 'bamg.'
You immediately turned around, expecting to see the insane woman known as Hanji, but instead you see a boy, around the age of sixteen, with brown hair, and turquoise eyes, holding the door.
You stared agap, not believing that this kid, just broke your door down, and was now trying to fix it.
"S-Sorry!" He exclaims as he tries to put the door back on the hinges.
"Dammit Yeager!" You hear Levi shout from the kitchen, and soon enough is storming in.
"What the hell did I say about trying to control that fucking strength of yours." Levi hissed as he marched up to the boy.
"S-Sorry Captain, but Hanji dragged me here, and when you slammed the door in her face, she pushed me into the door." The boy said as he frantically waves his hand around, trying to prove his point.
You let out a sigh, before saying "Its fine Levi. We can always fix it. Its not a big deal."
You then walk over, and took the door from the boy's hands, before carefully aligning it with the hinges, you then pushed it back into place.
"See, not a big deal." You say as you brush your hands together.
The two in front of you stared at you with mouth agap.
"What?" You asked as you raised an eyebrow.
"How did you do that? I mean that requires a lot of strength, and forgive me for saying so, but you don't look all that strong." The boy states.
"Oh, well, since I have this rare disease that messes with my pain receptors, I can kinda do things that would cause normal people pain, though when I do it, I can't really feel it." You say as you scratch the back of you head.
"I see, that's so cool!" The boy exclaims.
You let out a small chuckle.
"So what's your name, I'm (F/N) (L/N)." You introduce yourself.
"Eren Yeager." The boy, now known as Eren introduces himself.
You looked at the clock, and found it to be around 7 p.m.
'Man, I have to get up early tomorrow.' You think to yourself, and almost as if Levi read your mind, he said "Tch, go away brat, I'm sure that (F/N) is tired, and has work in the morning."
Eren nods before weaving bye, and disappearing down the corridor.
"Ah, well, I'm going to turn in for the night." You say as you go into your bedroom, in order to change into your sleep wear, before heading back onto the couch.
"Night, Levi." You mumble as you instantly fall asleep, and you could've sworn you heard Levi say a quick 'idiot', before falling asleep.
____________Levi's POV____________
I heard (F/N) mumble a 'night' to me before falling asleep.
"Idiot." I mumble under my breath, before picking (F/N) up, and heading towards her bedroom, where I then laid her down on the bed.
I then walk into the kitchen, before writing a quick note.
'I'll be back later this evening.'
I then placing it on the table, before heading out.
'After all, I haven't had any nourishing food, although that instant noodle stuff is pretty good, I still need to feed.' I think as I head out, on order to steal some blood from the nearest blood bank.
