It was still mid-afternoon, and you were becoming very impatient.
'Ugh, why can't it be the next day already!' You thought.
"Hey (F/N), what's wrong?" Petra asks.
"Nothing, I'm just being impatient, that all." You say smiling.
"What are you being impatient about?" She asks.
"Oh, I asked my friend for a favor, and (He/She), said that (He/She) wouldn't be able to get it done until tomorrow." You say.
"Oh, then I have an idea, why don't we go out and rent a movie!" Petra says.
"That's a great idea!" You exclaim as you jump up from your seat.
"What movie theme do you want to do?" You ask.
"How about horror!" She says, and you pale.
Let's just say that the last time you went to a horror film, you couldn't sleep for weeks.
"O-Okay!" You stutter.
"Are you sure? We can choose something else." Petra offers.
"No, its fine!" You say as enthusiastically as you could.
"Great! I'll go get the movie, while you get everyone gathered into the lounge!" Petra says as she goes to get the horror movie.
After about a half an hour of running around, you have gathered everyone, but one.
'Where's Levi?' You thought as you continued to look around.
You already checked his office, bedroom, and so on and so forth.
"Maybe he's outside?" You say to yourself.
You walked outside, and saw that Levi was underneath a tree, staring down at something.
'Huh, what's he doing?' You thought, as you walked up to him.
He turned around immediately when you started to walk towards him.
"What is it?" Levi asked.
"Um, everyone's in the lounge, we're getting ready to watch a horror movie, wanna join?" You ask.
"Tch, do I have to?" He asks.
"Well, no, but I would be happy if you do." You say, and you could see his eyes widen a bit, before his cheeks turned a bit pink, almost unnoticeable.
Your eyes widen as you realized what you said.
"W-What I mean by that, is that I can't handle horror movies, and it would be better if you were there with me, because I don't wanna ruin the movie, and all that.." You started to trail off towards the end.
You heard Levi chuckle a bit.
"Its fine, if you get too scared you could always hold my hand." He says as he turns his head to the side, while rubbing his neck.
"Thanks!" You exclaim happily.
"By the way, what were you looking at?" You ask suddenly.
You could've sworn that you saw sadness in his eyes, before it was gone.
He stepped to the side so you could take a look.
You took a step forward, and looked down.
"Here lies Isabel Magnolia and Farlan Church.
They were great friends." You read quietly.
"They were my first ever real friends." You heard Levi say.
You turned towards him, and saw that his bangs were covering his eyes.
"They died because of me, I made the wrong choice." He continued.
"What happened?" You asked gently.
"Many many years ago, when we were 'reborn', we would kill humans for their blood, and we always stayed together, no matter what. That was when Erwin found us, he said that if we joined, they would help us in controlling our bloodlust, but in return we would have to fight titans. I agreed, but that turned out to be my biggest mistake. When our first mission came up, I underestimated the titans, but I survived, but at the cost of my friends lives." He says self deprecatingly.
"Levi, its not your fault, and your not alone anymore, you have people here at the HQ, and me." You say, and this caused Levi to snap his head up, as you continued talking.
"They saved your life, because they cared about you, and I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't regret anything. I mean that if I was in the same position, and I had the chance to save you, then I would do it without a single regr-" before you could finish, you felt arms wrap around you, and hug you tightly.
Your eyes widen, as you stare at Levi.
"Never." He said, barely above a whisper.
"I would never let that happen, I don't want to loose you too." He says harshly.
"Le-vi?" You ask.
His grip tightens on you.
"Please, promise me that you won't do that!" Levi hisses.
Your eyes soften a bit as you say "I promise that I won't leave you behind." You say.
You could feel Levi nod his head against your shoulder, before he lets go.
"A-Anyway, we should go to the movie, I don't want to keep everyone waiting." You said a bit flustered as you began making your way back to the lounge.
You heard Levi chuckle, before he begins to walk behind you.
You and Levi finally reach the lounge, and saw that everyone was sitting in front of a white blanket, with a projector in front of it.
"Everyone here!?" Petra shouts, and everyone nods.
"Great, lets start the movie!" She says as she turns the projector on.
'Shit, why are we watching Saw!' You mentally whine, as you bring yourself closer to Levi, trying to hide behind him.
Once the gore started, you were clinging onto Levi for dear life.
You felt Levi put his arm around you, as another violent scene came up.
You jumped, and buried your head into Levi's shoulder.
You felt Levi's shoulders begin to shake, causing you to look up.
He was covering his mouth with his hand, trying his best not to laugh at your reaction.
"It's not funny." You hiss, but as you trying your best to sound threatening, another violent scene came on, causing you to yelp out, and bury your head in Levi's shoulder once more.
His shoulders shook more at this, and all you could do was pout into his shoulder, trying your best to not watch all the violence and gore going on in the movie, all the while, Levi was trying his best to not laugh at your reaction towards the movie.
