Chapter 1
____________Your POV_____________
It was another long day for you, the reason being is that you had to take over somebody else's shift.
Which explains why you were nervously walking down the now dark sidewalk.
You heard a noise come from behind you, but you merely thought that it was an alley cat.
'Man, why didn't I accept that ride.' You think as you began to walk a bit faster, as the noise began to come closer.
That was when the you recognised the noise as footsteps.
'Oh man, oh man, oh man.' You think frantically as you began walking faster.
Now, you had a choice, hide in the creepy dark alleyway, that could be your ultimate doom, or run.
Well, you being you, you decided the creepy dark alleyway.
'Dammit, these types of situations never end well in horror films!' You scolded yourself as your back pressed against the nearby wall.
That was when the footsteps stopped.
Right. In. Front. Of. You.
'Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit!' You mentally cursed as you closed your eyes tightly, refusing to look at the figure in front of you.
That was when you heard something odd.
It was a grunt, but it didn't sound like it was threatening, nope, it was the opposite.
It sounded like someone was trying their best to not scream in pain.
Now, being the kind hearted soul that you are, you couldn't just stand there with your eyes closed, when someone could possibly be hurt.
So, hesitantly, you opened your eyes one at a time.
Only to be met with glowing steel colored orbs.
You body stiffened, but on closer inspection, it looked like this man was in pain.
"H-Hey, are you okay?" You squeaked.
Almost as if on cue, his body began to sway back and forth, before falling forward.
You bearly managed to hold him upright as he collapsed.
However, when you placed your hands on his back, you felt something warm and sticky.
You lifted your hand up, and in the dim lighting from the street lamps, was blood.
"Ah, y-your hurt!" You exclaimed.
"D-Dont worry, I-I'll help you!" You stuttered, as you put his one arm around your shoulder, as you basically dragged him to your small apartment.
Luckily no one was awake in the apartment complex at the moment.
You quickly placed him on your couch, as you raced off to grab the first-aid kit, hitting your knee off the small coffee table, in the process, but you paid no mind to it, as you hurriedly took off his shirt, and examined the wound.
It was a fairly deep gash, though not deep enough to cause any muscle damage.
You quickly wrapped the bandage around his body, before placing his shirt back on.
You went and grabbed a spare blanket and pillow, before carefully placing his head on the pillow, and covering his body with a blanket.
But, upon further notice, he seemed cold, and I mean very cold.
You went and grabbed another blanket, and placed it on the stranger in you small living room.
'This is going to be a long night.' You thought as you went to the kitchen to make some coffee.
After getting your coffee, you silently grabbed a book nearby, and began to read, waiting for the stranger to wake up.
After about what seemed to be about three hours, you finally decided to stop reading, and check up on the mystery person.
As you inspected him, he seemed to have raven black hair, that seemed to be an odd undercut fashion.
As you continued to stare, you got up to check his body temperature.
'What the hell, he's still freezing cold.' You think as you went to grab another blanket.
But, as you went to place it on him, you suddenly feel yourself being pinned to the wall on the other side of the room at incredible speed.
You closed your eyes at the sudden impact, and that was when you felt a hand grab your throat, but when you opened your eyes, you were once again greeted by glowing silver eyes.
"Who the hell are you?" The man snarled.
"U-Um, (F/N) (L/N), your seriously hurt, please get back on the couch before the wound reopens." You say as calmly as you could.
"Tch, why the fuck should I trust you?" The man growls out.
"I-If I wanted to hurt you, I would've d-done so when you were unconscious." You stuttered.
The man eyes widen, before slowly letting go of your throat.
"Where the hell am I?" He questions.
"M-My apartment, you were hurt, so I brought you here, so could you please lay back down before you start bleeding again." You plead.
"Tch, my would is already healed, dumbass." The man scoffs.
"W-What, that's not possible, you were bleeding, I saw you bleeding." You say.
"Tch, it is possible, because I'm a vampire." As soon as those words left his lips, your eyes widen.
"A vam-pire?" You say, almost hesitantly.
"Yeah, why? You scared, human?" The man sneered.
"No......way-" you began.
"Heh, see your scar-" before the man could say anything else, you interrupted him.
"That's so cool!" You exclaim.
"Yeah, see your-, wait what!?" The man exclaims.
"I said that's really cool." You repeat once more.
"Tch, so you think a blood sucking monster is cool?" He asks.
"Eh, monster?" You repeat.
"Yes, dumbass, monster, you know, the things humans should fear." He explains, treating you like you were an idiot.
"But, I don't view vampires as monsters." You say.
"Huh?" The man says, surprise almost showing on his emotionless face.
"W-Well, its not like its your fault, I mean you guys are just trying to survive like everyone else. I don't see why that's such a sin." You explain, as you rub the back of your head, giving him a lopsided grin.
"Your.......odd." Was all the man could say.
"Says the man that's a vampire." You mumble.
"Tch, I can hear you, dumbass." He says, and you stiffen.
"Anyway, I gave you my name, would you mind giving me yours?" You ask sheepishly.
"Levi." Was his simple reply.
"I see, then would you like some tea or coffee, Levi?" You asked as you gave him a smile.
____________Levi's POV____________
'How the hell did it come to this?' I think as I take a sip of tea.
'This human, she's not normal.' I think as I continue to watch her make something to eat.
"Would you like some, Levi?" She calls out over her shoulder.
"Tch, I'm a vampire, dumbass. I don't eat human food." I state as I take another sip of tea.
"Fine, then I guess you won't mind if I take my tea back then, seeing as how you don't need it." She says as she reaches out for my cup of tea.
"Tch, I didn't say that I didn't want it." I mumble.
I hear her chuckle as she goes back to cooking.
"What are you cooking anyway?" I ask.
"Ramon noodles." She says simply.
After she finishes cooking she places a bowl on front of me with the steaming noodles inside it, before she grabs a bowl herself.
"Bon appetite." She says as she begins to dig into her food.
I hesitantly take a bite, before taking another, than another, and pretty soon, I'm asking for seconds.
She laughs a bit.
"I thought you didn't want any." She says as she refills my bowl.
"Tch, changed my mind, got a problem with it, brat?" I ask harshly, but she doesn't flinch, she just laughs.
"Nope, not at all." Was all she said, as she placed the bowl in front of me once more.
"Your an odd human." I said.
"And your an odd vampire." She replies back, as she takes a bite of noodles.
I raise an eyebrow at what she says.
"What do you mean by that?" I hiss.
"Really? What vampire enjoys Ramon noodles." She says, before letting out a small chuckle.
I simply click my tongue in response, as I take another bite of food.
After we finished eating, she sets the couch up.
"You can have my bed." She says as she lies down on the couch.
"Tch, I don't sleep, dumbass." I say to her.
"Then relax, its always good to relax sometimes." She mumbles.
However, when I opened my mouth to protest, she's already fast asleep.
'Is she serious?' I think as I stare dumbfoundly at the sleeping woman.
'She let's a complete stranger, who is a vampire by the way, into her apartment, and easily falls asleep without a care in the world, she really is an odd woman, either that or she's fucking insane.' I think as I sit in the nearby chair, and picked up a nearby book, and I began to read, until the damn brat wakes up.
