My dad couldn't drive me today so I had to wake up super early to walk to school. I'm so not up for it today. Fist I meet the weird guy that most likely hates me, then I almost die, and get save by someone with super human strength. 

I really don't feel like seeing him today but like always, nothing goes right for me. He started to walk up to me. I avoid his eyes. "You. Come with me, now." He said in a intense voice. I gulped not knowing what to do. He grabs my hand and drags me off. 

"H-hey! Let me go!" I finally speak up. "Stop that, i'm not going to anything to you I just want to talk." He said looking back at me. Like hell I'm going to believe him! So that's why I always carry a pocket knife with me encase of things like this happen.

We finally arrive in the woods behind the school. "Tell me. What do you think you know about me?" He asked. "What?" I ask. "You've been acting strange. More than usual. Every time you look at me. You freeze. I know you know some thing now tell me." He said in a cold voice.

"Fine. You aren't human. Or you are and...I don't know! You saved me the other day you are incredibly fast! Abnormally strong! And you just never seem to stop looking at me. And you eyes, they're different today. Yesterday the were blue now there grey. That's all I know so how about you tell me what you know!" I told him.

"What?" He asked. Then It came to my mind. But there's no way right. "H-how old are you?" I asked. "17" He answers. "How long have you been 17?" I asked. He looks at me for a moment. "A long time." He answers. 

I knew it. But there's no way they can't exist, there just made up stories! "I know what you are." I say to him. "Then say it. Out loud." He says in a smooth voice. "Vampire." I say looking right into his eyes. "Are you afraid?" He asked getting closer. 

I shake my head. "No. I'm not afraid." I said. "Then ask me the most basic question. What do we eat?" He asked. I look at him right in the eyes. "You won't hurt me." I'm really pushing myself hear. But I want answers!

He grabs my hand again drags me off. "Where are going?" I asked scared all over again. He doesn't answer he just keeps walking. We make it to the top of this hill out of the cloud bank and in the sun he shows me what he really is. 

He opened  his eyes they were completely red. And the sun made his skin even more pale than it was. There was dark red markings that went down his eyes to his neck (Image above) And there was a symbol on his hand. (Image below)

"If people ever saw me like this they'd know right away what I am. What we are."he said with a shaky voice.  I couldn't stop looking at them. "What do you me we? Are there more of you?" I asked. He nodded. "Some are even closer to you than you think." He told me. 

"I'm a killer. You shouldn't have met me because now after seeing this, you are forever tainted by me." He told me with a smirk. "I don't believe that!" I told him. "You think you don't. What you see is barely a slight image to what I really am. I'm the world's most dangerous predator. And know one knows it but us." He said with that same smirk. 

"Now my family and I, we don't hunt humans. No, we hunt only animals. We learn to control our thirst. But you! You are like a drug to me. I barely control it when I'm around you. I want to kill you." He said as he takes a step back. 

I shook my head. "No I can't believe that. Sure you hunt animals but you wouldn't kill me." I told him. He walks towards me and pins me against a tree. "I can't read you like I can with others. Tell me, you have to tell me what you are thinking." He said again with a shaky voice. 

"I'm scared. Of what you can do that is, but not scared of you." You told him honestly. "Dumb girl. I've started having thoughts about you. I'm in love with you." He said to me. My eyes widened. "All the more reason to stay away from me." He continues. 

"I'm going to try something ok. Do not move!" He said sternly. I nodded and held still. He leans in and puts his lips on mine gently. I shut my eyes tight.I slowly ease into it. I started to kiss him back. 

He pushes himself away from me. "Don't do that." He said quietly. 

At that moment I realized that my world could never be the same. I had fell in love with a demon. 

And he loved me right back.
