Chapter eight

You look up at him, not being able to take it in.

"Your... Your.. lying.." You trail off tears in your eyes. Your trying to convince yourself that he isn't your ancestor but your older brother, however you know he wouldn't say such a hurtful thing if it weren't true.

"I'm not, and I know you know that I'm not lying too." Kaname says, proving you wrong. You fall apart in tears in his arms.

"W-why would you lie to me all these years?" you stutter trying to stay calm. You hear him sigh before he says anything else.

"I never intended to hurt you Yuuki.. believe me. I do love you as a brother but I had promised Juri and Haruka that one day I will tell you. I wanted to be ready and I just wasn't ready. My plans are still going to be done as I intended to do but Yuuki, please understand, that what I will do is about myself and my past. If you attempt to stop me, I will no longer see you as my ally, but my enemy." Kaname explains. You widen your eyes and move out of his grip. Frightened of what he just said, you took a few unsteady breaths.

"What your going to do, what is it?" You ask.

"I am going to become the new parent of the hunters association and put an end to the pureblood line." He states, you widen your eyes in fear.

'Putting an end to the Purebloods? But... that'd mean he'd have to kill me as well.. Would he have the courage to do it? Am I still safe with him?' you think. You decide to take action.

"But that'd mean you'd have to kill me, do you even have the courage?" You ask.

"Yes, I do, because I won't just kill you, I'll kill Zero as well. I am sorry but having you as a human still wouldn't have done the job, you'd have to be awoken before you had lost your mind. Rido would've enjoyed watching that, and for that reason I changed you back. Believe me Yuuki, when I say I'm sorry. I mean I am truly sorry." Kaname says.

You stand there shocked, frozen. Was this the same man or someone else?

"The Kaname I know wouldn't hurt me at all! Who are you!?" you scream at him.

"I've already been through this Yuuki, I'm not your Brother, I'm your ancestor. I have always been your ancestor, and not your brother." He states annoyed.

You turn around and run for the door, obviously fast in vampire speed until you had reached the car. Once you were in the car you instructed the driver to go back to the academy. You had to warn the other Purebloods there and most of importantly, you had to warn Zero.

Once arrived at the academy, you run up the stairs and see a figure up above. You run up faster and you find the headmaster.

"Headmaster..." you start.

"How many times? Father, Yuuki, I'm your father." He states. You throw yourself at him needing a hug, crying.

"What's wrong Yuuki?" he asks.

"Father, can you gather the pure bloods and Zero in your office today please? It's urgent." You tell him.

"Of course. Now why are you crying?" he asks.

"K-Kaname.." you manage to say before your eyes spill more uncontrollable tears. You had to stop, but would you? You mean, you had the worlds biggest news threw at your face. The person you loved most wasn't whom you thought. 'Just why did he do that?' You think.
