Chapter seven

You woke up in your dorm, in your bed. You sat up and tried to get out but then you realised you had arms stopping you. You looked down at the side of you was a sleeping Kaname. You smile at the sight and he pops his eyes open slowly.

"Hi." You smile. "How're you feeling?" He asks. "Why're you asking me that? It should be me asking you." You tell him. "Yesterday you cried yourself to sleep." He says. Your eyes go big with shock. Kaname pulls you down to him and hugs you tightly. "So how're you feeling?" he asks. "I'm f-fine. Just a little shocked." You mutter. His grip tightens on you. "How're you feeling?" you ask. "I'm fine. I'll always be fine as long as I have you." He says. You smile and sink into his arms.

"I cherish every moment with you Yuuki." he suddenly says. "You say that as if your going to leave me." You mumble. He stays quiet and you get out of his tight hug and stand up and walk away from the bed. "Tell me your not leaving Oni-sama." You say worried, not being able to stand still. You hear him get up from the bed. "I can't promise that." He says without emotion. "Why would you even think about that?" You ask your voice slightly rising. "Yuuki, I have done things in the past, that shouldn't have been done but then again should have." He says. "That makes no sense." You say grabbing your uniform and getting changed. "Yuuki, tonight I want to tell you something. Then all of this will make sense." He states. You finish getting change and brush your hair. Once you finish your hair you turn to him, he is fully clothed in his uniform. "Fine." You say and walk out slamming the door.

You walk down and run into Sara as you try to walk out the door. "Lady Yuuki!" Sara exclaims and hugs you. "Hello Sara." You say hugging her back, slightly annoyed by her actions. She pulls back. "Is everything okay? You slammed your dorm room door." She says. "It's fine. It's nothing really. It must have been the wind." You make an excuse up. "Well, it is a lovely day isn't it?" Sara asks suddenly. "Well, I wouldn't exactly know because I haven't been outside yet." You say. "Well, let's take a walk together then!" she exclaims persistently. "A-Alright." You stutter.

You both walk out together and walk towards the big fountain. "So, what was wrong with Kaname? Anything serious?" she asks. "We don't know. Kaname thinks that you had something to do with it, but I don't think you'd do something so horrible." You explain. "Why does he think such a thing?" she asks shocked. "I'm not sure. He says that his suspicion points to you. He made me promise to not go near you or talk to you just in case but I've just broken that promise, and besides it's not like he owns me." You blurt out. "Oh dear. I'm so sorry." She says. "Don't be. It's my fault, not yours." You tell her.

You both reach the fountain and you put your head under the running water. "Yuuki, why are you doing that?" Sara asks. You pull your head out and sat on the side. "It always helped me refresh myself and clear my head." You explain. "Does it work?" she asked. "Yes. It always did and still does." You say. Just then she got up and tried it herself. Soon after she sat back down next to you. "Your right! It does work!" she exclaims. "I told you." you say.

"Well, Yuuki, you know Ichijo and Kaname seem very close." Sara suddenly says. You look at her. "They grew up together." You say. "That's sweet." She says smiling. "We better be getting back." You say. "Of course." She says. You both stand and leave the fountain making your way back to the dorm.

~After classes~

You and Kaname walk back together. "Kaname, earlier you were saying how you needed to tell me something tonight. I want to know." You say. "Alright." he says. He takes your hand and walks you to the front school gates. "I already have permission to leave the school for a while with you." He says and walks you out. You both walked to the car set out and you find out he was taking you home.

When you arrive at your house, you have butterflies in your tummy. 'Just what is he going to tell me? What's the worst he could tell me? Why must he tell me here?' You think. You both walk inside and Kaname leads you to a room you've never seen before.

"Kaname.. this room has your scent all over it." You say. "I'm quite surprised you haven't came to this room before." He says and opens the door. The scent of him in the room overwhelms you. He walks in and indicates you inside. You walk in hesitantly. "Yuuki, don't be afraid." He says. "I'm not. I'm just confused that you brought me back to the house to just tell me one little thing.." You tell him, your voice shaking. Truth was you was scared, you were scared of why he brought you to your house, scared of what he was going to tell you and deep down you know things would've been better if Zero was with you both.

You walk to Kaname and he hugs you and picks you up placing you onto what looked like a coffin bed for lords and lady's to sleep in for years. "K-Kaname what is this room?" you ask stuttering. Now you were quite scared indeed. Your heart was beating against your chest so fast it almost hurt. "This room is where I slept for lots of centuries." he says. "W-what are you t-talking about Oni-sama?" you ask stuttering like a fool. "I'm not your older brother Yuuki." he says. "Y-yes you are." You tell him. "I'm not. I killed your brother when Rido came and awoke me. He had your brother with him, he sacrificed him to me and awoke me. That's why I needed Zero to kill him for me, to break the bond he had with me. I took the shape of your brother but Haruka and Juri knew that I wasn't their son." He explains. Tears well up in your eyes, as you put your hands to your face trying to hide the tears. "Yuuki please don't cry, I never intended once to hurt you." He says pulling your hands away from your face by your wrists.

You look up at him with tearful eyes. "If your not my brother.. than who are you?" you ask almost not being able to finish the sentence. "I'm your ancestor." He says.
