Chapter There

You walked along outside the campus, you couldn't believe that Zero hated you. It made you both angry and unbearably sad. You remembered when Zero had come to yours and Yuuki's rescue when Rido nearly drank from you both. He seemed to be okay with you both afterwards. Maybe it was because you didn't go see him after that.

You sighed gaining Ichigo's attention, "Elissa is everything alright?" He asked softly. He was obviously worried about you.

"I don't know, I just wanted to see Zero and make sure he was alright." You told him, not even realising you were crying. Ichigo looked even more worried now, he found it hard to stand by and not comfort you.

"Kaname will probably nearly kill me for this but I don't like to see girls cry." Ichigo told you before pulling you into a hug. You couldn't have time to react but the fact he hugged you made you cry even more. You hugged him back and cried on him. He held you tightly telling you to calm down and that it will be alright. But what part of Zero hating you would be alright?

You soon enough calmed down and Ichigo let you go. You stood back a little and smiled up at him wiping your tears, "I'm sorry you had to witness that Ichigo." You apologise and he smiled a little.

"Please call me Takuma, Elissa." He told you and you nodded. You carried on with your walk and shortly decided to start your way back to the headmasters office. You were about to walk inside the building when the door opened and revealed Zero. He came out of the building the door closing behind him. You both stared at each other, not knowing what to say or what to do. Takuma stood idly by waiting for you to make a move. To either walk past him or attempt to talk to him.

You looked away from Zeros gaze and decided it would be best to leave him alone from now on. As you walked past him he grabbed your arm shocking you and Takuma. Takuma instinctively drew his sword on Zero whilst Zero protected himself with the bloody rose pointed at Takuma. You protested to this.

"Takuma please put your sword away, Zero can you please remove your gun away from Takuma." You asked them, Takuma obeyed and that made Zero put his gun away. Zero still had a hold on you and you looked at his hand.

He started to pull you away from Takuma but he followed closely. "Zero where are you taking her?!" He called out and Zero hissed at him.

Zero stopped and looked back at him, "Do you mind?" He asked annoyed, you stared at him in confusion.

"I have my own orders to protect Lady Elissa, you have to ask my permission before taking her anywhere Zero." Takuma told Zero but Zero only scoffed in annoyance. Suddenly Zero pulled you in his arms and picked you up bridal style. He then took off with you in his arms Takuma yelling for him to come back with you.

Soon enough you were on the top of the building he was on when you and Yuuki awoke. He put you down and you walked back a little away from him. You were shocked at the sudden actions he had taken.

"Why?" You asked, he knew what you meant by it as he looked at you and put his hands in his pockets.

"You wanted to see me." He simply said. You were very confused, he had acted so horrible in the office and now he's telling you that he was there for you to see him.

"You made it clear in the office you hated me and Yuuki. Why have you brought me up here?" You asked him as you looked out to the horizon. Zero came up to you and put his hand on your shoulder, you looked back at him shocked, then your eyes widened even more at the sight of him. He had that vulnerable look on him, you turned to face him and put your hand on his cheek. He held it there.

"Kaname was right back in the office. You can't lie about something you had no knowledge of. I was being childish, it's just you know what happened to me with Shizuka. I didn't want to believe you were a pureblood, you were a human. You cared for me Eli, you really cared for me. You were cautious of Kaname like I was, even though he was your fiance." He explained, you smiled a little emphatic smile at him.

"Yes I was cautious of Kaname but that was because he was suspicious. He never seemed to be far away from Yuuki and I. I didn't trust how he had saved our lives and what for? Everything makes sense now." You tell him, Zero looked at you and smiled a little. Your heard fluttered at this.

"Have all your worries gone?" He asked you and you nodded at him, "I'm glad."

He hugged you and you hugged back, you had been yearning for this moment. You felt him bend down and hover over your shoulder just like Kaname did earlier in the morning. You looked upwards and allowed him access to your neck, he hesitated to pierce your skin. He was obviously thinking back to the days you were a human.

"It's all right Zero, I'll heal right back up." You tell him and he sinked his teeth into you. You could hear him drinking your blood, all of a sudden he got pulled away. You let out a screech as Zeros fangs got caught in your flesh tearing it a little. You grabbed your neck where it had teared it. You looked over at Zero to see Kaname looking at you concerned. Of course Kaname would have smelt your blood.

"How dare you put your fangs on a pureblood!" Kaname roared at Zero, scaring you instead of Zero. Takuma had appeared and had checked you over. He reassured you that you had healed up.

"Takuma, why weren't you with Elissa?" Kaname asked him in a threatening manner, you gulped as Takuma answered.

"Zero took off with her, I couldn't catch up with him. I didn't want to draw my sword on him either in case I caught her in the blow."

"I see, you took her hostage did you? You do not deserve the blood you have taken from her." He said and scratched Zeros chest ripping the blood from him. You screech and try to run to them but Takuma stopped you by enclosing you in his arms. Takuma didn't want to see Kaname accidently hurt you, he wouldn't lay another hand on you again if he did.

"Kaname stop it! Zero wasn't hurting me! He had my permission!" You yell out, Kaname looked back at you with surprise.

"You let him drink from you?" He asked you and you nodded, "I see, this was a mistake to bring you back here. Takuma take her back to the office and do not let her out of your sight this time. I'll be joining shortly."

Takuma nodded and you protested, Kaname slammed Zero to the floor then walked over to you.

"Do not hurt him Kaname! You hurt him and I will never forgive you!" You tell him, that was the only way to get him to listen and obey you. Kaname stopped and his eyes grew dark, you heard Takuma mutter an 'Oh boy.'

The ground started shaking beneath you and the ground started cracking. Kaname advanced towards you and you felt terrified. He put his hand on your cheek and you started trembling, is this what it felt like to be scared of Kaname?

"You made me angry with what you said. You are only to blame for my actions. Do not say such harsh words to me, do you understand Elissa?" He explained and you just stared at him, "You make me cruel Elissa, I'm sorry I scared you." He told you and moved his hand from your cheek to your forehead, you knew what he was doing. This was a trick he did with Yuuki.

"Zero, run!" You yell before losing consciousness and saw Zero move from the building. You blacked out falling limp in Takumas arms, he had then passed you to Kaname.

Kaname carried Elissa back to the office, Takuma followed closely behind him. Takuma mostly stayed quiet but did have some things to say to Kaname. Takuma was Kaname's best friend so he knew Kaname would never take things too personally.

"Kaname," Takuma started to talk and Kaname acknowledged it, "Don't you think you were too harsh back there?" Kaname looked at him and Takuma tensed up.

"I did what needed to be done. If she does not see me when I am angry she won't know when to stop pushing." Kaname explained to him, Takuma stayed silent for a couple of minutes as they had neared the building Takuma started talking again.

"She was trembling after you got angry. I fear that she may fear you for good." Takuma told him and Kaname looked at him stopping at the door of the building.

"Takuma you've always been a good friend worrying about me. You don't need to worry any longer, I'll be fine now I've got Elissa. She won't be afraid of me, if she is her feelings for me will betray her." He told Takuma and Takuma just simply nodded. He opened the door for Kaname and he walked through thanking him.

They entered the office and Kaname laid Elissa down on the sofa. Yuuki was sat on the floor looking at her with worried eyes. Kaien sighed, he knew what had happened.

"Is she alright Kaname?" Kaien asked him and he nodded caressing Elissa's cheek. He stopped and patted Yuuki's head.

"She'll be fine." He told them both and Yuuki nodded. Then she noticed the blood on Elissa's coat.

"Did Zero do that?" Yuuki asked Kaname with a sorrowful tone.

"Zero drank from her and I ripped him off her, I hurt her a little with the force. I should have known better. I just got a little jealous." Kaname explained to her and she nodded.

"Would you get jealous if someone drank from me Kaname?" Yuuki asked, she had obviously envied her big sister and big brother.

Kaname knelt to her side, "Whoever may drink from you will obviously deserve you, Yuuki. I would not be jealous no, I would be extremely happy that you would have found someone worthy of you to finally make you happy." Kaname told her and she hugged him and he hugged her back.

"We are still on alert with the Senate. We have had vampires around the site still." Kaien told Kaname obviously getting to the business he had asked Kaname here for.

Kaname rose up from the floor and looked over at Kaien. Kaname nodded, "We are still trying to get back the power the Senate had taken from us purebloods." Kaname told Kaien.

"Is that why Mr. Yagari had his gun on him at the gates?" Yuuki asked her adoptive father.

"Yes Yuuki, it is. Kaname, I think you should know that I intend to try to start the night class back up." Kaien explained and Kaname acknowledged it, Yuuki gasped happily standing up and hugging her father.

"I would love to be back!" Yuuki exclaimed happily. She turned to Kaname after hugging her father, "Kaname can we join again please?!" She turned to Kaname. He found it hard to resist Yuuki's pleads.

"Yuuki, what about home?" He asked her.

"This is my home too." She said to him a little nostalgic.

"I'll have a think about it, Kaien how will I know Zero won't try to hurt the girls?" He asked and Kaien gave a simple smile.

"Kaname do you really believe Zero will hurt them? He didn't hurt Elissa, he has no reason to. They cherish him, he knows that," Kaien told him, Kaname looked at him unphased by his words making Kaien sigh, "I'll have him be put into the night class so you can keep an eye on him if that is what you wish?"

Kaname nodded, "I will appreciate that, but first there is an upcoming ball that the girls and I must attend. As purebloods it is our duty." Kaname told him and Kaien nodded.

"I'll send word out to the night class students we had in the mean time then Kaname." Kaien told them and Aidou, Ichigo and Yuuki all smiled happily.

"It'll be great to be back headmaster!" Takuma said happily.

"I will send some of my followers to scout around the school and help you out with the Senate vampires," Kaname added picking Elissa from the sofa. "I'm sorry to cut our visit short, I can tell you want to spend time with the girls but they must undergo their training before the ball. When we come back I will give you my answer whether I will be coming back with the girls to the night class." Kaname explained to Kaien and he nodded.

Kaname walked out of the office with Elissa in his arms. Yuuki, Takuma and Aidou followed quickly after him. They all walked out of the school grounds and back into the car.

You woke up in your bed and you looked around confused. You then had some flashbacks of Zero that made you smile. He didn't hate you anymore. Then the flashbacks of Kaname hit you. You had started trembling and your eyes were becoming watery.

"I didn't want to scare you." You heard Kaname's voice and you looked around the room. He was standing near the door leaning against the wall. His arms were crossed over his chest and he had his coat off. He was in his black blouse and beige trousers with his normal shoes. He looked over at you and you gulped.

"K-Kaname... How long have you been there?" You asked him, he stood up right and made his way over to you. He sat on the bed and put his hands on the bed either side of your legs.

"I've been waiting for you to wake up, I've been watching over you since we came home." He told you and you stared at him. His eyes were soft but had a hardness in them. It reminded you of how Yuuki looked at Yagari.

"Where's Zero?" You asked him and you swear you saw his eyes express a little disappointment.

"He's back at the academy. The headmaster is currently sending invitations to the former night class." Kaname explained to you which made you confused.

"Invitations for what?"

"Kaien wants to bring back the night class. Yuuki really likes the idea but I'm still indecisive."

"Really? Can we go back? Please?" You asked him and he smiled at your request.

He carresssed your cheek, "I've told Yuuki that I'm going to think about for the time being. The same answer applies to you," he tells you and you nod a little disappointed he didn't say yes straight away. "Elissa, you threatened me back at the academy. It really made me angry." He told you and you held his hand to your cheek.

"It was the only way for you to actually listen to me. I'm sorry Kaname but when Zero does something you don't hear what I have to say, you just hear Zero back chatting you making you more angry. I didn't want to anger you, I do apologise but you must have more restraint. I care about you but I care about Zero too." You explain to Kaname and he takes in every word you tell him. He didn't reply to anything for a minute and it was worrying that he was being so quiet.

"Elissa, for you I would do anything. I hope you know that, you're very special to me. That is why you have the ability to make me so angry. I will try to listen to you more, you have my word." He told you and you hugged him as he hugged back. You then felt Kaname bite into your neck and drink your blood. You then did the same with him, having two vampires drink your blood in one day had made you feel a little weak. You knew if you drank some blood from Kaname it would make you strong again.

Kaname pulled away at the same time you did, he wiped the blood trailing on your chin and licked his finger. "Your lessons start now, Yuuki is already in hers. Takuma is waiting outside for you. You have a time limit as we have a ball we must attend with Yuuki. It is our duty as purebloods to do this. I've already told Yuuki this but you'll meet other purebloods there. A lot of people will look for your flaws. You need to be ready for that." He explained and you immediately felt a tone of pressure come down on you.

"I'll do my best to make you proud Kaname." You told him and he smiled.

"You already make me proud," He told you and your heart fluttered. He then leant towards you and kissed your forehead, "You best go out to Takuma and get started." He told you and you nodded getting out of your bed, taking off of your coat before leaving the room.

I am having such a great time writing this I feel so inspired writing , correct me if I'm wrong but I think Takuma is Ichigo's first name? Uhm, I'm a noob so please do correct .me if that isn't his first name. So thank you to everyone who is reading this book. You guys are amazing ♡
