Chapter Thirteen

3rd POV

"I couldn't agree more." Kaname stated as Zero sat down and a silence filled the room.  They both stared at each other not knowing who to start with or where to start.

"Where do you think he's holding her?" Zero asked fidgeting in his seat, Kaname sighed.

"I don't know. I just know that we need to figure it out soon rather than later. His father was Rido. You know how dangerous Rido was to Yuuki and Elissa. How dangerous he was to my mother... He murdered my father. Even beyond the grave he's still holding his presence here in his son. I'm thankful that Senri didn't turn out like Quentin."

"No, he just decided to possess Senri instead." Zero scoffed and Kaname nodded.

"Quentin told you he wanted you to grant the Senate their requests on joining them. As much as I want to tell you to ignore that, it is Elissa's safety we are talking about here... To keep her safe you must do as he says." Kaname kept his eye contact with Zero but Zero saw the hesitation in his eyes.  He wasn't sure what to do in this situation and neither was Zero.

"So that's it? We're supposed to roll over and show our belly?" Zero asked agitated that Kaname was being so submissive to Quentins orders.

"What do you suggest we do?! Elissa's safety is at stake here and I'm not willing to risk hurting her! He said what he would do, I do not want one of my sisters being in pain let alone both!" Kaname finally snapped, it took Zero back a little at the sudden outburst.

"We have always disagreed and argued, we have always hated each other and fought each other. But now, we have to work together to find her. We need to be able to count on each other Kaname, for Elissa's sake we have to find her quickly." Zero told him trying his best to remain calm. Kaname nodded as he came back to his senses. He composed himself rather quickly.

"I agree. We have to work with each other on this matter. I suggest we make him see what he wants to see. We follow his orders for now, but work together to try and find her on the side lines. Of course the aristocrats are going to want to help but only my inner circle will be helping in this matter. I don't trust anyone else with this." Kaname stated and got his chess board out. He started putting them on the board and Zero stopped him.

"No more games Kaname. This isn't a game where you control the board. Quentin has the upper hand here. The only thing we are pressuring he hasn't got is numbers, however-"

"It helps me think if I layout a board with pieces that resembles everyone. If he does have numbers then he'll be harder to get to."

"Yes he will be but if he does have the numbers we can only assume its numbers provided by the Senate, or Rido's followers. If its the Senate providing then I can guarantee you they're holding her at the Senate's headquarters-"

"If she's at the Senate's headquarters then she is not safe. They're probably draining her as we speak!" Kaname started worrying and the windows shattered, his powers being controlled by his emotions.

"Kaname! Stop it and calm down. I want to find her just as much, I'm just as worried as you are but we need to think straight. We can't go barging in. If she's there I'll have to infiltrate with the invite they have given to me. I'll be your dog on the inside." Zero told him and Kaname looked at him raising his eyebrow.

"You just called yourself my dog." Kaname noted and Zero's forehead started to twitch. 

"I'm aware. I needed you to think straight." Zero mumbled and Kaname chuckled.

"Very well, we'll make it seem like we're obeying his orders whilst you search for her. But do not make it obvious, if you do-"

"I know, it's game over."

"I'll teach you how to mind link to me, so if you do get into trouble you can let me know and I'll come with reinforcements to get you out as quickly as possible."

"Sounds like a plan." Zero said nodding. He wasn't going to admit it to Kaname but he was grateful that he would look out for him that much. Maybe it was time to start turning a new leaf and start being friendly with Kaname.

Your POV

You woke up groggily, the last moments you had awake playing in your head. You went to touch your neck and heard rattling above you. You looked up to find your wrists in handcuffs. You pulled yourself up holding yourself up against the wall. You looked around as you tried to tug your wrists down go get your feeling back in your arms. It worked a little but your hands were numb. The room was dark and grungy. You could feel a draft from somewhere.

You sensed a presence in the room making you look around in every corner. You couldn't see anyone, "Don't worry my little bird, you're safe." You heard Quentin's voice from behind you and then felt a hand trailing from the back of you to the front of you as Quentin appeared in front of you. He held your long hair in his hand as you tried to pull it out of it.

"You attacked me, how do you expect me to feel safe here? I'm practically a sitting duck, in case you haven't noticed I'm chained to a wall." You looked at him full of hatred as you spoke informally to him like you used to.

"I should punish you for your informality. I wonder if Kaname has ever done that since he hates informality." Quentin snickered and you narrowed your eyes at him.

"Kaname has never hurt me or Yuuki. How dare you even suggest it!" You raised your voice at him and he gripped your jaw making you fall silent.

"You will do well to not raise your voice at me again. Understood?" He asked, his voice low and deep. It made you realise who had the upper hand and who had the authority here. You silently nodded slowly. He smiled at his victory, "My, my, that didn't take long to make you submit. I was expecting more of a fight, maybe I should have gone for Yuuki after all."

As he was so close to you the moment he mentioned going after Yuuki instead your leg automatically worked on its own. You kneed him and caused him to bend down forward a little in pain and you kicked his head after he bent. He fell on the floor and soon regained himself and started laughing.

"There it is, that's the fire I liked about you. You're strong, fierce but gentle until someone threatens your loved ones." He chuckled and stood up.

"Where am I?" You asked still trying to place where you were. It wasn't anywhere you had been before.

"Well been so you liked it underground as I understand I thought this would be a lovely comfort to you. You spent your childhood with Kaname underground hiding with Yuuki from my father, correct?" He waited for your answer.

"We were hidden by our parents, we had no choice in the matter and it was a matter of our safety. That was until we got passed over to the headmaster by Kaname."

"It's an underground..." He trailed off and stared at you and you stared back. He laughed, "You really think I'm going to tell you after you were able to mind link Aidou to tell Kaname about what was happening?  I'm not telling you where you are." He laughed.

You sighed almost in defeat, you had to figure out a way to contact them. You felt so lost without Kaname close by, even Zero's presence you felt was lost. "Oh don't worry, if Zero plays his cards right he'll see you again shortly." Quentin said and you snapped your head up to Quentin.

"I swear, if you even dare hurt him I will-"

"You'll what? What will you do Elissa? You're chained to a wall." His hand was on your jaw again holding you close to wall. You channeled your power and it was enough to throw him off you.

"I'll do a lot worse then you'll think." You gritted your teeth as your facial expression showed him the hatred you had in you.

He chuckled, "Fiesty, do you know why I like fiesty women like you Elissa? It's because when I finally break you and make you submit to me it's all the more satisfying." He snickered and in a blink he was back in front of you slightly taking your breath away.

"You will never break me Quentin." You spoke quietly.

"We'll see about that," He said and pulled your hair away from your neck. He bent down to your neck, holding your jaw so he could get better access. "You don't mind do you?" He snickered before plunging his teeth into your neck causing you to scream out in pain. He wasn't gentle at all. Whenever Kaname or Zero drank from you they were so careful to not hurt you, whereas Quentin didn't care whether he caused discomfort or not. In fact, you were pretty sure he wanted to cause the discomfort.

Your eyes started to become droopy once again as you were becoming more weaker by the second. Since the first attack you hadn't fed on Kaname or Zero as you had not had the chance. Quentin finally pulled off you and chuckled. "My bad. I guess I over drank." He snickered at your weakened state as you slid down the wall and to the floor unable to stand on your own anymore. Quentin gave you more chain leash to bring your hands down to the floor. You sighed at the relief of the blood flowing to your hands fighting through the numb feeling. Quentin knelt down to you and caressed your face.

"Elissa, join the winning side here. Forget about them and join me. I'll give you anything and everything you ever wanted-"

"No, the only thing I want is to see Yuuki, Kaname and Zero." You cut him off as you didn't want to hear anymore that he had to say.

"That can be arranged, if you join me. I'll leave you to have a think about that." He said and walked up some stairs and out of the door.

You sighed hoping that Kaname and Zero weren't arguing or tearing each others heads off.

"Like hell I'll join you.. " You whispered to yourself and sighed falling unconscious on the floor.
