Motionless in White-Disguise

"Ichijo-sama!" Ruka says surprised to see him as she and the rest of the Night Class guard the Day Class students.

"I have something to tell you guys." He says seriously to them. 

"Vice president, where have you been all this time?" Akatsuki questions him. 

"Kain, I know what you want to ask." Takuma says looking away, and then right back at him. "But before that, if you guys continue to follow Kaname's plan, then you will become the ultimate enemy of the highest court of our vampire's world, The Council. Kaname is trying to control you guys using the pureblood's power, he is just trying to come back with a safe retreat." Takuma tell them both. He doesn't want his friends to be used as pawns and shields like Tatsuki was.

"Seiren, please go tell the others about what just happened, your master would like you to do that too." Takuma explains to the silent young woman. Seiren nods her head. He then jumps up to the top of the roof with his sheathed sword still in hand. 

"Ichijo-sama, where are you going?" Ruka questions him. 

"There's something I need to do." He tells them like he told the others. Though, it feels better if he doesn't tell any of them exactly what he plans to do. He fears he may not come back alive from his suicide mission.

"Yah!" Tatsuki drops to her knees in the most intense pain she has ever felt. 

"Tatsuki! What's wrong?! Are you okay?!" Sora questions her. She puts a hand to her reddish brown eye. 

"I-I can feel Rido's power inside of me. He-He's killing me from the inside slowly." Sora looks stunned at Tatsuki. 

"How is he doing that?!" Sora questions her worriedly. 

"I-I don't know, but I have to hurry. I have to stop him! There is something only I can do for Yuki-sama." Tatsuki stands up while gripping her arm.

"Tatsuki, you can't die. I need you." Sora says holding her. 

"I'm sorry-" 

"I know you love Takuma, but I want you to know how I feel still. I don't think I could live on without you being around." Sora admits to her. 

"I'm sorry for making you suffer." Tatsuki says before pulling away from his grasp. "Go help the students. Take this weapon with you. It's an anti-vampire sword. Use it on the vampires that want to attack you." Tatsuki says pulling Ichiru's sword that was strapped to her back. She picked it up on her way out, Rido's blood still clinging to it.

"When did you-" 

"Go now! Please!" She says feeling the throb of pain come again. 

"Alright." He says, and goes off in the opposite direction to where Tatsuki is going.

"You didn't just awaken more of my pureblood blood. You made sure that it would turn into a lethal poison once you didn't need me anymore. At least Senri got to be able to stand up for himself." Tatsuki smiles, and runs to where she senses Rido Kuran. If Yuki is unable to stop him, she will help her as best she can with a dying body.

"Rido-sama, we've been looking forward to your reawakening, please give us orders. Rido-sama..." His loyal servants say to him as he continues to feed. 

"A bunch of annoying retards." He says licking away the blood. "I was just in the mood-" He stops as the door is opened.

"Tatsuki." He says, and she looks at him for the first time in ten years, at the man who had destroyed her life. He's killing her. The vampires around him glare at her, and prepare to attack her. "Back away trash!" Rido calls out ominously as the other person he just finished feeding off of turns to dust.

"It hurts, doesn't it?" Rido questions Tatsuki who grips the arm closest to her heart. 

"This is nothing compared to what you put me through." He chuckles at her, and then is in front of Tatsuki in a flash, startling her. He wraps her in his arms before a large blast of flames destroys the vampires and most of the roof above, except for them. They were only shields to protect Rido and Tatsuki.

"Rido-sama." They call out to him as they begin to die and turn to dust. Tatsuki gulps. 

"Can you really fight me? I am a pureblood, but you are not." Tatsuki clenches her jaw, and the pain shoots through her heart and body again. 

"Gyah!" If Rido wasn't holding her up she would have fallen. He can't help but chuckle as he watches her suffer from the lethal Kuran poison in her blood.

"If you were stronger, then maybe you would be able to survive. You see, I had hoped to bring some pride to the Shiki name by gifting them a pureblood. A fake Kuran pureblood that could be of use if Kaname got in my way. Alas, I had almost hoped for too much from a weak woman who created weak children." Rido finally explains to her why he tried to get rid of the human blood that ran through her blood from many generations back. "Now you're useless." 

A fireball goes through the hole once again, Tatsuki ducks while Rido's shoulder gets singed with it. He only had to move slightly away as the fireball had come from a distance. Rido had time to sense it coming and avoid it.

He simply rubs the small burn on his shoulder as if it were nothing, but a simple scratch. "That's enough with the appetizers. Go clean it up." Rido orders the surviving few vampires that began to heal. 

"Yes, Rido-sama." They say without a care in the world. Tatsuki moves a trembling hand to her lip. Trying to bite her finger.

Rido pulls her up, and looks at her weakening figure. "I can't believe you survived ten years." 

"I can't believe it took you ten years to revive." Tatsuki starts to talk back to him, just as he expected as soon as he released Senri. She would be the rebellious and disobedient child he raised for a bit. He smirks angrily, and then slaps her to the ground. Blood runs down her chin.

Rido stops stalking slowly towards Tatsuki as he senses someone. Tatsuki just barely lifts her head to see Aido Hanabusa standing at the top of the near broken ceiling.

"You are Rido Kuran-sama." He says stunned, and then his gaze diverts towards Tatsuki, who much to his surprise is still alive even though she's with this man. The man with the same eye color as Tatsuki's.

"I do not need any more appetizers. But you seem to be something worth eating." Rido says smiling up at Aido. As Rido uses his pureblood powers to coax Aido to him. "Come here." Rido puts his hand out towards Aido, who is compelled to follow the orders of the pureblood.

"HANABUSA! STOP!" Tatsuki yells out at him, but he won't listen. The sway of Rido is far more tempting than the dying girl beside him. "RIDO!" Tatsuki yells out at him trying to get his attention back on her. To just ignore Aido and let him run away. Especially as she senses the one pureblood she was hoping would not come near.

"After all, you guys will not betray your 'king', the purebloods." He says as Aido sways, and begins to fall forward. 

"NO! STOP!" Tatsuki pleads. She jumps surprised to see someone catch Aido. A girl wearing the Day Class uniform of Cross Academy, wielding a scythe, and contains the feeling of a Kuran pureblood within her petite body.

"Y-Yuki Cross." Tatsuki says stunned to see her in her pureblood state. Her long hair flows in the winter breeze as she turns back to face Rido Kuran. Aido blinks a couple of times as he returns to his senses, realizing that he was saved by the person he was supposed to be protecting.

"Let me eat your body softly and let you become a part of me. I'm glad you are here. I've been waiting for you. . ." Rido puts his hand out to her. "The youngest and most energetic pureblood princess in the world." Tatsuki manages to slowly stand up. 

"Nice to meet you. Are you Uncle Rido?" Yuki questions him, but then her gaze travels towards Tatsuki. She sees that Tatsuki is growing weaker in spite of having no other visible injury beside the bruise on her cheek.

"The eyes from far away. Looking at me like you want to eat me. How could I have ever seen that in Tatsuki? It was you all along, Uncle Rido. You were the monster with the mismatching eyes that scared me as a child." Yuki says keeping her composure even though she is becoming worried for Tatsuki. Now that her memories are restored, she no longer feels fear at the sight of Tatsuki. She wishes to clear that up with her once things with Rido are settled.

"Alike. . ." Rido says observing Yuki. He jumps towards Yuki in a flash, and goes to touch her cheek. "You look like Juuri." His voice comes out in a low whisper full of desire. Yuki swings her scythe. 

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" Yuki yells out at him. He holds back her scythe easily in spite of it hurting his hand.

"I've changed my mind. You will replace Juuri, and let me love you. Yuki Kuran!" Tatsuki finds some strength, and jumps to the aid of Yuki, but Aido had the same plan, and they both grab a hold of her. Pulling away the stunned young girl who is being claimed as a replacement for her mother.

"Idiot! Don't fall for it!" Aido scolds Yuki.

"I'm not! Tatsuki-san, are you alright?" Yuki questions quickly diverting her attention to her. 

"I-I'm alright, but you should get out of here. It's not safe for you, Yuki-sama." She says to her. Yuki looks at her surprised. 

"I can't do that. Especially since you look so weak." She looks into the dark circles developing under Tatsuki's eyes. She is deteriorating right before their eyes at an alarming speed.  

"Yuki. Right, 'Yuki', the name that Haruka and Juuri gave you." Their attention goes back to Rido Kuran, who watches them from a distance. Rido wipes away his blood, and licks it off. "Yuki, what a bad girl. Swinging something so dangerous. Yeah, an anti-vampire weapon is real dangerous." Rido says only having mad eyes for her. "I borrowed it's strength when I killed Haruka." Yuki and Aido look at him surprised before Yuki loses her composure at the name of her dead father.

"Senpai, move back! Let me defeat him." Yuki yells out to Tatsuki and Aido who try to keep her protected. 

"You're not the only one, whose life he destroyed. I'm helping." Tatsuki tells her, she will not take 'no' for an answer. 

"No! You-" They all stop once they sense an immense power approaching. 

"Move back!" Yuki pushes Aido back off the building. He screams as he falls down. If she wasn't holding her scythe she would have pushed Tatsuki away too.

Yuki grabs a hold of Tatsuki as vines of thorns come out from under them. A male figure stands atop the thorn of vines. They jump down from them, to show who they are. "Zero." Tatsuki says surprised to see him. Yuki and him meet eyes, but nothing is exchanged between them. It's like they got into a fight and now don't want to speak to each other.

"Tatsuki-san, please back down." Yuki insists with her. 

"I will not fall under the sway of a pureblood. He hurt my brother, my friends, and my life. I won't forgive him for that. I'm not going to stand back, and let you all do this." Tatsuki says trying to find strength in her weakened body.

"Hey, how long do you plan to sleep?" They look over at Zero touching the thorns of vines. "Wake up, vampires." He says once again, and they watch him in silence. Yuki and Tatsuki exchange a glance before they prepare to make an attack. Zero glares back at them.

"What are you two doing?" He questions them. 

"We are you allies." Tatsuki answers him. 

"Yes, even if you see us as the enemy." Yuki agrees with Tatsuki. "How are you holding out, Tatsuki-san?" Yuki questions her. 

"I've felt worse." She says feeling the shooting pains coming on more frequently, but she refuses to show it to anyone. 

Rido finally starts to attack and the trio is forced to defend themselves from his cursed blood. More attacks come at the trio, but they manage to fend off the attacks. Tatsuki is struggling with keeping up the strong façade. The poisoned blood in her is spreading faster with all the movement she is doing.

Yuki slices up an attack of blood, but out of that attack comes Rido's hand, and then he starts to reach for her. "Yuki-sama!" Tatsuki runs as much as her body will let her to try and help her.

"Purebloods can force other vampires to submit to their will. We have the power to make them do anything we want. With that in mind, I'm really wondering if you will be able to beat me? Hm, Yuki?" Rido questions Yuki, scaring her. 

"Don't say it! Stop saying my name!" Yuki yell out at him. Tatsuki reaches Yuki, but vines of thorns also reach them.

Tatsuki covers Yuki as a strong gust of wind makes their hair fly. Both girls look over at Zero. "Hey, freak. You're my prey. Behave as a hunted animal should behave, and at least try to fight and escape your death." Zero says to Rido as Tatsuki and Yuki watch him.

Rido appears before Zero nearly startling both girls. "Why am I your prey? Oh is it because I dealt the blow that killed your twin?" Rido questions him. Tatsuki looks on sadly at that. 

"He lost his brother? That's awful." Tatsuki whispers as Yuki looks over at the girl that's still holding on to her. Now more for support than to protect her.

"But you are him, and you took back the power that should have been yours, didn't you?" Rido questions smiling now amused. "Yuki, just listen to this. This guy is as much of an evil vampire as I am! He devoured his very own brother, the flesh of his flesh." Yuki becomes enraged, and Tatsuki releases her. Tatsuki clenches her jaw at Rido's amusement in this serious and painful moment. She remembers the way his older brother killed his younger brother to steal away his wife and youngest child.

"But you are making a big mistake ex-hunter! It's the opposite," He says putting his attention back at Zero. "It is you who are my prey." He points at Zero.

Yuki has had enough, and raises her scythe to swing at Rido. She goes for it, but Zero stops her attack. "Get back. Don't you take my prey." Zero says ominously to Yuki. 

"WHY?! ZERO!" Yuki yells out enraged. "THIS MAN IS THE VERY SOURCE OF ALL THE BAD THINGS THAT HAPPENED!! I JUST WANT TO-" Yuki controls herself as she realizes that she's hurting the people around her with her pureblood powers.

"When you get angry like that your aura gets even more similar to the one the late Juuri had." Rido says smiling at her amused. Zero uses some of his vines of thorns to push Yuki away right at Tatsuki. 

"You're getting in my way." Zero says wiping away his blood from the scratches Yuki caused with her pureblood aura. Yuki bumps into Tatsuki, and they both fall off the building.
