Chapter - 4
Recap: Harsha's plan to create dispute between the vampires and Agastya.

Agastya circled Harsha with a sneer, his fangs glinting ominously. The vampires in the courtroom, uneasy and unwilling to support a war against the demon king, remained silent. Agastya's smile widened as he saw their reluctance.
"Dismiss the court," Agastya ordered, his voice carrying an air of finality. The vampires quickly bowed and filed out, leaving only Harsha behind. Rakshan glanced at Agastya, unsure if he should stay but Agastya waved him off.
Rakshan nodded and signaled to the guards to close the doors. An eerie silence fell over the courtroom. Harsha tried to maintain a facade of strength but his composure faltered as Agastya stepped closer. Before Harsha could react, Agastya grabbed him by the throat, his fangs dangerously close to Harsha's neck.
"Stay away from me and my kingdom," Agastya growled, his voice low and threatening. "Next time, you'll find yourself in the dungeons for treason. It might be hard to wake the ancestors, but it's not difficult to deal with you. If your mate returns, she won't be happy to see you whoring around. Life for a life Harsha, if she is back then you will in coffin. Out Now."
Harsha scrambled away, his face pale with fear. Agastya watched him go with a cold smile before walking out of the courtroom. Rakshan met him in the hallway and they headed towards Agastya's chamber.
Once inside, Rakshan removed Agastya's long coat, looking concerned. "Is it true that we can only wake the ancestors on a blue moon?" he asked.
"Yes," Agastya replied, his voice grim. "We will have answers for everything happening around us."
Rakshan continued, "Why not just kill Harsha? No one in the vampire world could challenge you for the throne."
Agastya shook his head. "I'm a king, Raksha. I can't just kill someone because they threaten my position. I must prove myself worthy of this throne, not just by being more powerful. Killing Harsha would also bring his mate back to life, and she's half witch. That could cause us more trouble."
"How do we control Harsha?" Rakshan asked.
Agastya's expression grew thoughtful. "My father wouldn't be pleased if his son was killed or tormented without cause. Let him live a few more years."
"What could his next move be?" Rakshan inquired.
"Anything that might jeopardize my position as king," Agastya said.
Rakshan hesitated before speaking. "How is...?"
"Rakshaa," Agastya interrupted sharply.
Rakshan swallowed hard, understanding he shouldn't discuss Yashvi in the vampire world. He fell to his knees, apologizing. Agastya patted him on the shoulder, acknowledging his apology.
Meanwhile, Harsha returned to his aunt Daini, his anger evident as he kicked a table, sending it flying out of the window.
"He's still powerful, Aunt," Harsha said, frustration evident in his voice. "I don't see any sign of him losing his power."
Daini looked at him calmly. "He still has time. Perhaps after the blue moon, he might start losing his power. But what if he decides to choose a mate since he hasn't found his own after all these years? That could put us in danger."
Harsha frowned. "If he does that, we need an alternative to stand against him."
Daini thought for a moment. "Seek help from the werewolves. Create a conflict between them and the vampires. In the meantime, maintain a double stance. Find a vampire who can work for you and ensure a werewolf is killed regularly. This will keep them restless."
Harsha looked at her, bewildered. "Do you think werewolves could fight vampires?"
"It's not about direct fighting," Daini explained. "Even if that happens, we mustn't underestimate them. Our goal is to create chaos. Stay low-key and find a vampire to work on your behalf. Make sure a werewolf is killed once a week or month."
Harsha nodded. "Thanks, Aunt. Do you think he could have overheard our conversation, or has he really found a way to wake the ancestors?"
Daini reassured him. "This home is protected by a spell. I can sense any vampire, even in their invisible form. There's no way he could have overheard us."
Harsha's expression was serious. "How strong is the spell? Is there anyone who could break it?"
Daini replied, "Even demons cannot enter this place unless it's King Agas himself. He has exceptional powers."
Harsha's face darkened. "I'd shake hands with him if I could meet him. That bastard hasn't revealed himself all these years."
Daini shook her head. "That's why he's feared. All access to him is closed. Perhaps we can use hellhounds if you need to fight Agastya in the future."
Harsha's curiosity was piqued. "How is that possible?"
Daini said, "I can get them to work for me temporarily using my power, but it's a last resort."
Harsha considered this, then hugged his aunt before returning to his chamber, his mind racing with plans.
In the quiet of Agastya's chamber, he opened his eyes, their red pupils returning to their normal hue. Rising from the couch, he walked out with determination to meet the heads of the various vampire covens.
In the human world, Aashi and Agastya entered the principal's office with Yashvi, now dressed in her school uniform. The principal, familiar with Yashvi and her family, greeted Agastya with a warm smile.
"Sir, you don't have to worry about Yashvi," the principal assured. "She will be well taken care of in school."
Agastya nodded and replied in his deep, intimidating voice, "Thank you."
The principal, visibly nervous, stood up as Agastya and Aashi walked out with Yashvi. Agastya noticed Kaala, the hellhound, following Yashvi as ordered. Leaving Yashvi at her classroom door was hard for Agastya but he managed it with a heavy heart. Just as he was about to leave, he heard Yashvi's footsteps running towards him.
Yashvi ran to him and hugged his legs. Agastya wiped her tears shaking his head.
"Agastya," she pleaded, "you promised not to leave me. Stay with me at school. I don't want to be alone."
Aashi knelt beside Yashvi, gently encouraging her. "Yashvi, your friends will be looking for you. Agastya and I will come back to pick you up after school. You need to study, remember what your mother said?"
"But I want to play with Agastya," Yashvi countered, her lips wobbling. "I'm ready to play ball too."
Agastya crouched down and wiped her tears. "We'll play after school. I'll make a special cake for you today."
Yashvi nodded reluctantly and returned to her class. Agastya turned invisible and sat beside her in the classroom. He marveled at their bond, wondering how she could sense his presence despite him being invisible.
"How could our bond be so strong that she is able to sense my presence? Is she really just human?" Agastya thought in his mind perplexed on seeing the bond working between them.
Yashvi glanced towards where Agastya was sitting, as if she could feel him there. To avoid distracting her, Agastya decided to return home. Back in the kitchen, Aashi had prepared the cake. Agastya pricked his finger and let a drop of his blood fall into the cake before placing it in the refrigerator.
As the school day ended, Agastya parked the car and saw Yashvi rushing towards him. He scooped her up into his arms, inhaling her calming fragrance.
They drove home, and once Yashvi was refreshed, Agastya placed a piece of cake before her.
"This is the best cake, Agastya!" Yashvi exclaimed. "Will you teach me how to bake?"
"Of course, baby," Agastya said, smiling. "But didn't you want to play? Let's go to the backyard."
Yashvi's face lit up with excitement. "Yes!" She ran to the backyard, with Agastya following in long strides. When she saw the swing adorned with flower vines, she smiled up at Agastya, who gently placed her on it and pushed her back and forth. Her laughter filled the air.
After some time, Yashvi jumped off the swing, pulled Agastya down, and planted a kiss on his cheek. He ruffled her hair, and they played ball until Yashvi became hungry and ready for dinner.
Aashi called Yashvi to get ready for bed, but Yashvi ran into Agastya's arms. Just as he was about to lift her, she farted and immediately covered her face, embarrassed.
Agastya chuckled and gently removed her small hands from her face. "It's okay, sweetheart. Everyone farts, especially little ones like you."
Yashvi peeked at him, still shy. "Agastya, don't look at me."
"It's alright," Agastya reassured her playfully pinching her nose. "You don't need to be embarrassed."
Yashvi looked at him with a scrunched-up face but eventually smiled when Agastya pulled at the corners of her lips. "Agastya, will you put me to sleep? I want you by my side, but please don't tease me."
"Of course, baby," Agastya said, guiding her to bed. "Would you like to hear a story?"
Yashvi nodded eagerly as Agastya sat beside her, caressing her hair.
Agastya began,"Once upon a time, there was a beast who was both brave and fearsome. He was the king of all beasts, and everyone feared him. But in his heart, he was kind and prayed to the gods for a queen. For many years, his prayers went unanswered until one day he met a very beautiful girl."
Yashvi's eyes widened. "Like me?"
Agastya chuckled softly and kissed her forehead. "Yes, very beautiful, like you, with blue eyes too. The king decided to wait for her to grow up."
Yashvi asked, "Did he leave her?"
"No," Agastya continued. "He stayed with her and cared for her. The little girl loved the king, though she didn't know he was a beast. The king was afraid she might hate him when she grew up."
"But beasts are good," Yashvi said. "I love puppies, cats, and rabbits too."
Agastya smiled. "He wasn't a puppy, cat, or rabbit, baby. He was a huge beast, so he worried she might hate him. He prayed and hoped she would love him as he loved her."
"What happened when she grew up?" Yashvi asked.
Agastya Mv: *I hope you will accept me and our mate bond.*
"She knew he was the one the gods had given her," Agastya said. "And she loved him very much. They lived happily ever after."
Yashvi asked sleepily, "How did he look, Agastya?"
"Very large, with two horns, a tail, red eyes, and fangs," Agastya replied softly.
Yashvi's eyes fluttered. "Very scary."
"Yes," Agastya agreed. "But he only hurt those who behaved badly."
As Yashvi drifted off to sleep, Agastya remained on the couch, watching over her as he wished "I hope this peace remains, even as you grow up and the truths are revealed."
