Epilogue

Clover's POV

"You've got this Clover. You can do this...." I mutter to myself, as I feel my legs begin to walk. "It's not even your day Clover! Get a grip. You're 25 now, you shouldn't be sacred. You're a grown-up, confident woman!" People around me look at me weirdly, noticing that I'm talking to no one.

"This is Olive's day. You need to be there for her. And it's also Dominic's too. So get a hold of yourself and walk in there!" I encourage myself but I still don't have the guts to walk into the church.

You might've guessed it by now that it's Olive's wedding day. And Dominic's. The ship has sailed! The engagement was so romantic. Dominic took Olive to where it all began and then proposed to her in the middle of the fields.

Don't even get me started on why they had to rush it. You'll find out later. Anyway, I'm the nervous one and it's not even my wedding day. And that is why I'm talking to myself. In front of a church. Surrounded by dead bodies in graves. Welp.

"Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. I mean, look at this stupid dress. You can tell I'm a vampire from a mile off." I grumble, peering down at my figure.

I'm wearing a blood red, strapless dress that shows off my slim figure and pale skin. It has a heart-shaped breast line, with sparkles going around the top half. I have the same colour heals to match with the dress and my black, long hair is tied up in a neat bun.

I shouldn't have let Olive choose my dress, even though she is a fashion designer. I could just be like all the other bridesmaids and gone with a dainty colour like blue or pink.

I'm about to walk out of the churchyard when I spot two familiar faces coming through the church gate.

"Clover!" One of them shouts and comes running up to me. Before I can react, she already has me engulfed in a hug. "We haven't seen you in ages! You went all MIA!" Rebecca squeezes me tightly.

"Rebecca I've missed you too but I kind of need my internal organs for breathing." I manage to squeeze out. She lets go and smiles at me. The guy who's with her comes down at a normal pace, hands in pockets.

"Simon! Hurry up!" Rebecca screams at him. He rolls his eyes with a smirk and then sees me. His eyes scan my body meanwhile, Rebecca notices this and slaps him. "Simon. You have a girlfriend."

"Oh, and who might that be? I'm sorry, I seemed to have lost her." He grins, pretending to scan the area. Rebecca places her hands on her hips. "I'm only joking Becca." He takes her into his grasps. "You're the only girl I want."

"Ew guys! Stop with the PDA! Please!" I quickly cover my eyes as they go in to kiss each other. It seems all my friend fell in love after the deal with the Scientists.

Rebecca and Simon got together around 5 years ago but has been going on and off since then. But I can see that they'll become serious soon.

I've heard that from Olive that Rebecca has been going on about Weddings since Dominic proposed to Olive. Simon just needs to be nudged in the right direction.

"So Clover? Found the love of your life yet?" Simon asks, while still hugging Rebecca tightly. "I mean, you're 25 now? Right?"

"Says the guys who's 27 and still hasn't proposed to the love of his life." At this, Simon's eyes widen. "On the cards?"

"Yes. It's on the cards, Clover." He mumbles back, making Rebecca the one with wide eyes now. "Right. Let's get this thing over and done with. To the church!" He changes the conversation quickly and strolls down the lane.

I finally get to take in the appearance of Rebecca. She has a beautiful short, mint green dress. It has lace at the top and a heart-shaped breast. She wears mint green flats on her feet and her brown hair lays down on her shoulders. Simon wears a black tux with a mint green tie to match his girlfriend.

"Come on Clover! Don't want to be late for your best friends wedding!" Rebecca smiles, having recovered quickly and linking her arm with mine. I can't run now. I have witnesses. I get dragged along the stoned pathway towards the church.

Lots of unfamiliar people stand around, some of them being Dominic's and Olive's Uni friends. Others are their family, some whom I recognise as half are my family too. I wave to a few before entering the church.

Churches have never been my type of place. I get creeped out by them, knowing that this where people have celebrated others lives. But I guess this is also where people celebrate others marriages.

I scan the room, lots of the windows catching my eye. Both Olive and Dominic aren't religious people but they wanted their marriage to be traditional. Pews line up in rows, some of them already filled with people chit-chattering to others.

The priest at the front fiddles with a few things while also introducing people in. He doesn't seem nervous at all as he's probably done this lots of times before.

I remember Olive telling me that Rebecca, Simon, Robyn, Oscar and I will all be sitting down at the front. We trail into the pew that we got allocated and sit.

I feel a few burning eyes into the back of my head and I try my best to ignore them. It's what I'm used to. A vampire is not regularly seen in the Penel World as people tend to stay where they are from.

The door opens and Dominic walks through, rubbing his hands together with a nervous look on his face. He smiles at the people who are already in the church and then spots our group down the front and his face washes with relief.

"Thank god you guys are here. I've had strict instruction from Olive that we're not allowed to start the ceremony without the whole gang being here." He says as he approaches us but then notices something. "Where's Oscar and Robyn?!"

"Robyn text me saying the train from Human to Penel is really slow and she didn't anticipate how long it'll be. Oscar is with her for some reason." Rebecca looks at the last text message from Robyn. Dominic rubs his hand over his face.

"Dude chill. We can wait all day if we need to for those idiots. Your family won't mind will they?" Simon says, an attempt to calm his best friend down.

"Update: Just pulled up. Now running towards the church. We're not late. All in caps." Rebecca decides to update us. As on cue, the doors of the church slam open, revealing an out of breath Robyn and Oscar.

"WE'RE HERE!" Oscar shouts, everyone's attention in the church now on him. Robyn rolls her eyes and hurriedly makes her way down the aisle towards us, leaving collapsed Oscar to fend for himself in front of the glaring family eyes.

"Congratulations Dominic! I promised I wouldn't be late so here I am!" She smiles at my brother. He sighs but also looks thankful that he doesn't have to delay the ceremony any longer.

Oscar now walks up to us, pats Dominic on the back and then sits in the pew next to Robyn.

"Tell them we're ready." Dominic turns to a girl and she nods, leaving the church. He gives us the thumbs up and then takes his place the front of the church.

Suddenly, the music starts up and the whole church begins to stand up. The first people down the isle receives massive awes from the crowd. 5-year-old twins, boy, and girl walk down the aisle in white dresses. Smiles fill their faces.

"Daddy!" The boy screams and runs up to Dominic. Dominic takes him in his arms. The girl waddles after him, also happy about seeing her dad. Yep. Olive and Dominic are parents to twins. I told you Dominic had to rush the proposal.

The boy is called Alister and my lord does he have the energy of a wind-up toy. I've had to babysit him once and he ran around my flat for hours until he collapsed on the sofa. I've never seen so much energy from one boy in my life.

The girl is called Isla. She's the most adorable girl in the world. Even though she has trouble talking, she can still have a full conversation with you in noises. She looks up to her brother and tries to be like him. It's so cute!

Olive fell pregnant when she was 20 and almost had a heart attack but Dominic helped her through it. Now, their loving parents to both of them and couldn't be happier.

Although, Olive's parents weren't happy that Olive was already having children and not doing school work, but, being the protective boyfriend that he is, Dominic stuck up for her.

"Go to Auntie Clover." Dominic points the twins towards me and they run together. They bounce up onto my lap, squirming. Dominic smiles at his children and then turns back around.

Suddenly, gasps fill the air as Olive enters the Church. She looks beautiful. She decided on a wedding dress that was a princess style, the middle to the end puffing out. The top was laced with sleeves going to her elbows. Her blue hair could be seen under the white veil as she walks down the aisle.

Olive looks towards my group and smiles at us, looking thankful that we're all here. I feel my eyes water up at the sight of my best friend and brother standing together at the front of the church. Dominic looks at Olive and goes speechless at the sight of her.

"Now, Dominic, will you please say your vows." The priest gets started.

"I, Dominic Waterstone, take you, Olive Mcniff, to be my lawfully wedded wife. To have and to hold, from this day forward. For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part." Dominic says, smiling, wiping a tear that had appeared on Olive's cheek.

"Olive, will you please say your vows?"

"I, Olive Mcniff, take you, Dominic Waterstone, to be my lawfully wedded Husband. To have and to hold from this day forward. For better, for worse. For richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part." Olive's voice shakes, looking into Dominic's eyes.

"I pronounce you Husband and Wife. You may now kiss the bride!" The priest says and Dominic wastes no time in kissing his new partner.

"I love you Mrs. Waterstone." Dominic smiles.

"I love you Mr. Waterstone."

*Wipes tears from eyes* I'm not crying, I'm sweating. MY FAVOURTE CHARECTERS JUST GOT MARRIED! I'm so happy for them!

Now, the thank yous! I would like to thank mariexhood princessluna16 and http-vulpix for encouraging me to keep writing this book even though the viewing rates of this book hasn't been as high as I would've liked it to be.

Then I just want to mention that some of these characters are the best characters I have ever created. I love these people and I would love to be able to continue their journey.

But sadly, this book will not be having a sequel but in the future, it might have a special chapter if I feel like it. Book with all my OC's in?

Anyway, I want to thank everyone who has been reading this book from the very beginning and I hope you enjoyed the ending.

Don't forget to ( for the last time ) comment and vote for support on this book and also follow for updates on all the other books ( and also be on the lookout for a book updating in two weeks! )
