Chapter 6

Wanda and Laura had gotten close to Alissa, learning what she did and what her hobbies were. Wanda was walking towards the room with a red-headed female. Wanda walked in seeing the panther look up happily. "Wanda!" Alissa cheered before getting up quickly. Wanda smiled and walked over patting Alissa's head.

"I have a friend that wants to meet you. She wants to see what you can do." Wanda explained as she patted the Panther.

"I..... won't be treated like a prisoner, will I?" Alissa asked nervously. Wanda smiles softly and shakes her head.

"Of course not. I'll make sure you aren't, okay?" Wanda said hugging her close. Wanda stood up and watched as the panther got up and jumped down from the bed. Alissa sighed before crawling under the bed. "What are you doing there Alissa?" She asked before looking as the black feline comes back out with her backpack.

"Where's.... Tony, is it?" The feline asked confused. "I'm sure they would like to have a better understanding than what they have already." The feline said looking at the Wanda.

Wanda smiles and nods. "Yeah, it's Tony. Are you sure though?" Wanda questioned the panther. Alissa nodded. Wanda nodded and stood up. Leading the feline out, Wanda looked up. "F.R.I.D.A.Y? Let the team know Alissa and I are on our way to the training room. Could you ask them to meet us there?" Wanda asked before leading Alissa down to the training room.

"Of course, Miss Maximoff." The AI replied before telling the other Avengers. Alissa walked closely beside Wanda before stopping and looking at the red head. Alissa sits with her bag in-between her legs as she watched the red head look at her.

Wanda looked down before looking at the Alissa. Looking where Alissa was looking, she looked up and smiled. "It's okay Alissa, this is Natasha Romanoff, otherwise known Black Widow." She said patting Alissa's head and back gently.

Natasha walked over and kneeled back a bit and holds her hand out. Alissa huffed and growled slightly. "I'm not a dog, Miss Romanoff." Alissa growled softly. Natasha looked at Alissa before laughing slightly.

"Of course, sorry." The red head said with a small smile. Natasha stood up and smiled. "Where are you two heading?" Natasha asked Wanda.

Wanda smiled and stood up. "We're heading to the training room." Wanda answered. "I thought she might like to stretch her wings a bit more."

Alissa rolls her eyes in annoyance. "I have more than just wings." Alissa says licking her paw gently. Natasha and Wanda look at each other before looking at Alissa.

"What do you mean, more than just wings?" Wanda asked. Alissa gives them a kitty smirk before grabbing her backpack and trots towards the elevator. Wanda and Natasha look at each other in confusion before chasing after Alissa.

The three girls made it to the training room and spots Bucky, Steve and Tony. Alissa takes a deep breath before trotting over to Tony. Bucky looked up and saw the panther trot over before tapping Tony on the shoulder. Tony looked at Bucky before seeing a black cat sitting beside the soldier.

"Out and about?" Tony asked. Alissa stood and walked over to Tony and putting the bag down at his feet before going to the middle of the room.

"You wanna see what I can do, don't you?" Alissa said, sitting in the middle. Tony looked at her before looking at the other two and closed the blinds and switched the lights on.

"Better?" Tony asked before picking up the bag and opens it to see two folders. "What's this?" Tony looks at them confused.

Alissa shifted and stretched. "When I released a pulse, I saved two collections of files." Alissa said. "One is the files of the Blood Assassin Program. That's the program I am, regrettably, a part of. The other one, holds the program that Bucky was a part of." Alissa explained before looking up. "Those fire sprinklers up there?" Alissa asked curiously.

The five Avengers looked up to see what she what she was talking about. "Yes, those are fire sprinklers." Tony said before looking back at the girl. "Why?"

Alissa examined the sprinklers before large leather like wings appear causing the Avengers, except for Bucky, to jump back. Alissa's bat-like wings beat down giving her enough force to lift her up. She flew up to the pipelines before following them around. The others looked at Bucky.

"She has wings. She has bat wings. What the hell? Wonderland what is that?!" Tony questioned angrily.

Bucky chuckled. "It's a part of her Vampire gene. They tested her wings before she had to drink the elemental and elemental shapeshifting abilities from two of the other subjects. Before the elemental blood work was in, she had enough strength in just a flap to knock over a group of scientists that tried to corner her. She tried to escape just after being injected and her wings made it seem like there was no gravity in the room. After the Elemental abilities, her wingbeats got stronger and so they placed the collar on her to control her. The Elemental shapeshifter abilities made her Griffin wings just as threatening." Bucky explained and watched as she landed with her wings fold away.

"I was hoping to stretch my fire out a bit....." Alissa whispered quietly.

Wanda watched Alissa before looking at Tony. "Are you able to disable the smoke alarm and sprinklers for about 30 minutes?" Wanda asked. Tony gave Wanda a 'are you serious?' look.

"If her wingbeats don't kill us, you want to see what else could?" Tony asked causing Bucky to laugh. "Now what?"

Bucky shook his head. "Please. Disable the fire safety systems and you'll see just how tame she is in fire." Bucky said.

Tony looked at Steve. Steve shrugged. "Bucky knows her capabilities better than us. I think it's the best idea to go for." Steve replied. Tony sighed and disabled the fire system within the training room.

"If I get burnt to a crisp." Tony started.

"You won't." Bucky said before looking at Alissa as she stood in thought. "Got a flamethrower?" Bucky asked, keeping his eyes on her. Tony looked at him before getting a flamethrower and a fire extinguisher ready. Tony gave the flamethrower to Bucky keeping a firm grip on the extinguisher. Bucky shook his head before walking close, but keeping a good distance from Alissa, and whistles.

Alissa looked towards Bucky before being engulfed in fire. Panic ensured amongst the other Avengers before the fire grew as the body shifted. A loud roar was heard within the fire. Tony got ready to pull the pin on the extinguisher before Wanda held her arm up.

A large scaly face appeared before Bucky before smoke was blown in his face. "A little warning next time Soldider. I won't be so contained next time." The red slitted eyes narrowed.

Bucky chuckled. "Sorry Al. It must be rare to spread your fire." Bucky said before putting the flamethrower down beside him.

"While yes, it is rare. I still would prefer a warning first and foremost." The scaly face slowly turned into a large black dragon face as it walk out of the fire with its tail still in the fire.

Wanda, Steve and Natasha looked at the large black scaly creature in amazement. Tony on the other hand. "That's a dragon.... Dragons aren't real....." Tony mumbled in confusion. The dragon looked over at the small group before blowing smoke at Tony.

"Does that feel fake to you?" The dragon huffed before walking out of the fire completely causing the majestic beast to shift and pull the fire into her hand, controlling it into a ball.

"What was that?" Tony asked, still slightly dazed.

"I think I should have gotten you to read the files for a better understand before I started all this. Elemental shapeshifting allows me to shift, when the element calls for it. For example. I can shift into a large wingless dragon when I'm engulfed in fire." Alissa said gesturing to the ball of fire still resting her hands. "I can be a large Griffin flying through the air and cause hurricanes with a beat of my wings. I can shift into a seal to speed through waters. And you've already been well acquainted with my panther form." Alissa explained. She then twirled the fire around her hands a bit before causing it to vanish.

"I can't create fires or torrents of water from my hands. But I have the strength to cause earthquakes from one coast to another in controlled environments just from jumping from high distances. I can get hurricanes just from beating my bat wings. But what I can do with fire and water is manipulate it to my own use." Alissa finished.

Tony looked at the backpack before looking at Alissa. "What else can you do?" He asked curiously. Alissa looked at him in shock before smiling softly.

"Well let's see, I can shift into a shark to take out aerial attacks." Alissa explained before hearing a 'told you so' from behind her causing her to chuckle. "That's a part of my shifting abilities, not the elemental shapeshifting. One of the abilities I collected..... it's better to show than explain." Alissa said.

"And what ability would that be?" Tony asked putting a hand in his pocket.

Alissa looked a bit loss for words. "It's kinda like a two-way street with this one." Alissa tried to explain. "My blood can be used to heal someone without healing factors, but depending on the blood that I drink from, I can absorb an ability. It's why I can tell what's within a blood stream."

Tony thought this over before facepalming. "Like the comment about how my blood has a mainly metallic smell to it." Tony said. When he looked up, he saw Alissa's sheepish smile.

"Yeah......" Alissa said with slight chuckle.

Tony tapped his chin. "Alright. Let's go through the list." Tony said restarting the fire system before going through the list.
