Chapter 5

Months had passed and while Laura and Wanda were trying to make her comfortable, the others were discussing how to get the backpack from the terrifying cat. Natasha was talking about an idea when Wanda and Laura came in.

"She needs that collar off." Wanda spoke quickly. They looked at her confused.

"What collar?" Tony asked.

Laura took the lead in the conversation. "The collar she has around her blends in with her fur and since she's still slightly weak in her human form, Wanda found out that she stays in her panther form because she feels that she's isn't going to be hurt if they fear a large cat." Laura explained. The others looked at each other before looking at Bucky.

Bucky sighed and stood up. "Alright let's get this collar off her." Bucky said as he walked towards the two females still standing. As he walked closer to them, they lead Bucky to the room. "How does it change to her human form then?" Bucky asked as they arrived at the room.

"It changes to a more suitable black that you would see as an ordinary choker." Laura said as they watched Bucky grabs the small dagger from the table.

Bucky nodded and sliced his hand like he did last time. "Alright. I'll get the collar off." He said as he walked into the room. The panther looked up before hissing and backing up slowly.

"Easy cub. Just want that collar." He said as he kneeled near her. He moved his metal arm closer before getting a swipe causing the panther to growl and back up more in pain. "Well that was silly." He said with a small smirk.

"Why do you want my collar? You don't have the remote." She growled and held her paw close to her body.

Bucky looked at her paw. "You let me take your collar off and I'll give you some of my blood to heal your paw okay?" He asked softly, treating her like a small child.

Alissa watched slowly before limping forward slowly. Bucky slowly moved his metal hand towards her collar and stopped when she flinched slightly before slowly working his hand to her collar and removed it from her neck. Grabbing the collar, he moved back as the Panther shifted into a large Griffin and covers his ears as she screeches out loudly. Her large screech called out the other members of the Avengers.

Looking in the room they noticed the large bird/panther hybrid move slowly to the super Soldier and watch him carefully before grabbing him from the back of the shirt and lifts him up slightly before stepping back and shifting back into a human. She watched him carefully before bowing her head in respect to Bucky. Bucky watched before bowing slightly back to her. "I'll get you that beaker now okay?" He asked before walking to the door.

She watched him before nodding and walks over to the bed and sits down. Bucky walked out and throws the collar to Tony. "Go for your life." He said before grabbing the beaker they used to try and get her drink blood and squeezes some of his blood into it.

"Is there something wrong?" Steve asked as he watched his friend.

"Subject 4's ability was to absorb a person's ability through touch. She absorbs it through blood." He answered before walking back in and puts it on the table slightly right from the table. "I know my blood's not pure but will you accept as part of our agreement?" He asks Alissa before seeing her nod and walks over to the beaker and sniffs it slightly before drinking it slowly.

Bucky smiled softly before walking out. "Soldier. I believe your friends are slightly scared that a large bird/panther with attack them in their sleep." Alissa said before Bucky left.

Bucky looked at her before smiling softly. "I'll let them know that that's not your scariest." He said with a chuckle before walking, allowing her to drink the blood peacefully.

Bucky walked back and looks at the group. "You know the griffin isn't her scariest, right?" Bucky said before looking at Wanda and Laura. "Give her a chance to allow the blood to go through her system, she damaged her claws when she tried to attack me, which in turns, damages her nails." He explained to the girls. The girls nodded and looked at each other to discuss what they were going to do.

Sam looked at Bucky before looking at the pale female then back to Bucky. "What is her scariest then?" Sam asked confused. Bucky smiles gently.

"Don't fly above the water and you won't have to find out." Bucky said smirking as Sam and Tony pale slightly.
