I don't remember deciding to open my mouth, but I did and the words that came out were " WHAT?" I was so confused. Life changing things happened all the time but finding out that your a vampire who has been asleep for years is not how you want to spend your day." Bella, please let me explain? I know its hard to believe but please you have to trust me." "Alright mom. I'll let you explain this ridiculous story you'v so obviously made up, because all vampires are dead, captured, on the run, or hidden." I wanted it all to  be a dream. My minds nasty way of telling me off for dating a vampire. I'm also not the prettiest. I mean okay how can I a brown, untameable haired(or at least to me), short, clumsy, not beautiful, has to try her damnedest, to reach pretty girl, be a vampire! Who may or may not have been asleep for god knows how long  be me!?

 Yet it makes sense somehow. I don't understand it, but some part of me screams for the truth to finally be heard again."Thank you. Now you know how you don't look like me or your father? Well..." She hesitates a moment, just long enough for a conflicted look to cross her face, the n she continues. "Well, we were walking the woods and came across a beautiful meadow. We were just about to leave when a babies cry cut through the silence like a knife. I had run to where the baby was, where you were!" She pauses and lets this latest piece of news sink in.

 'So I was adopted! Well that helps me understand why I don't really look like my family, but who are my birth parents?' Voicing my question  mom answers. "There was a note that was on your blanket, here I still have it if you'd like to see it?" I nod my head. So my parents had left a note explaining somethings, I hope.

My mom walks back into the room, a piece of paper in her hands. "Here I don't want to read  it aloud and I can't read some of it so..." She trails off and hands me the letter. The letter read,

"Thank you  for finding my child, my dear Isabella. Whoever you are should know somethings about this little girl, she is a vampire. Now before you freak-out shes under 2 spells, one has been in place since the beginning of the werewolves rule and the other is much more recent. The recent one put her in a deep sleep, taking away her memories and having her grow like a  human until her 18 birthday or she meets another of her kind. This leads me into the other spell, she is our saviour from the wolves. She is also the reason for the war. At least for the vampires. The wolves had already declared war, but we defended with no retaliation. This girl is also part of the vampire royal family, the princess. Bella will save us  all! With thanks the royal vampiress, Karina Trueblood."

'Karina Trueblood is my mother! What the hell.Dream come true or worst nightmare' "Honey, are you okay?" I look at her and then back at the paper. Looking it over I gasp  when I come to 'She is the reason...'  because it was written in a strange language. 
"Mom, can I keep this, as a sentimental token of my birth mother!?!"

"Of course! Know, why don't you take a warm shower before going to bed to relax your nerves? We can talk more in the morning about what we're going to do, okay?" I nod, grabbing my towel and pj's before going to the bathroom and turning on the water.

I stand under the water that's beating down on my back, on my scar. I've had it for as long as I can remember. It starts at the tip of my right shoulder blade going all the way down my back in a diagonal line. The warm water always made me feel better. Then my back started pounding in agony, like the scar was fresh. Suddenly my vision was nothing more than swirling colors that parted only briefly to let me see Willow come in and me to tell her. "Don't tell Mom!" Before it filled my vision once more and faded into nothing.
