I can explain my home in back woods Montague in just a couple of words. Trees and wolves. Lots of wolves. My home town isn't the best but with my family it's heaven. My mom Grace Marques is a wonderful and beautiful woman, and both of my siblings look like her or my father who past away a few years ago. Alexander (Alex for short) and Lucy are 5 and 2. I'm the oldest at 16." Bella come down breakfast is ready." " 5 more minutes mom."
My name is Isabella Raven Anna Marques. Yeah laugh if you want, just know that my name comes from the werewolf queen Isabella, her daughter Anna( who isn't a werewolf), and let's not forget my grandmothers favorite bird either.

"Isabella! Get up now. I won't ask you again. Your breakfast is getting cold and you have school in an hour." I look at my alarm clock and nearly scream murder." Oh shit. MOM! The time changed so no I had school in 15 minutes!!!" Racing out of bed I put on the first things my hands touch and run out of my home.

Another thing you should know is that I love school, hate morning, and am the biggest kulutz I the world." I'm so late!"

I reach my school in a record time of 14 minutes." Well look who made it here today. Heard a rumor that you had run away to get married to your vamp boyfriend. Oh wait, he ran off didn't he , saw how ugly you are and ran." I turned to see Lily Moreno the most popular girl in school, the brattiest as well." No Lily that would be you to a werewolf you slutty bitch." I had stepped out of line but I knew she was talking about my boyfriend who juts happened to be a vampire. She had had a crush on him till she found out that he was a vamp, then she black mailed him with telling the wolves if he didn't leave then and there. He did, but promised to come back once everything was undercontrol.HIM. PETER. I miss Peter dearly, but I know he had no other chose.

My cousin willows voice drags me out of the past." Hey Bells you ready for lunch? Pizza and fudge brownies from Aunt Grace." Well there was no way in hell I was missing that. I just want to where the day had gone." Alright, but 2 things 1.) don't in gods name call me Bells again, and 2.) where the HELL has the day gone. I don't even remember leaving homeroom!?"

When we got to lunch we sat at our usual table with Maya, Angle, and Anna.(Yes I do mean the princess. We don't talk much, just polite greetings.) I don't have much to say which is normal so its easy to let the chatter pull me back into another memory while I eat.

I'm about 7 sitting on my moms lap before bed and she sings me my favorite bed time song. It's called "Eternity" and it goes like this." Vampires roam the land, searching for something they lost, they wander, and wander, and wonder if they will ever find you, find you. You will be safe as long as you stay close and away from danger, vampires, werewolves, danger, the wolves will harm you, vamps will worship you , people will treat you like a freak, don't get discouraged I will protect you from all this harm. Harm that will take you away from your family and loved ones. I will protect you and love you for all of eternity. Eternity, eternity." I know a weird ,sad, and slightly depressing song especially for a child, but it put me out like a light and the end is very beautiful and heart felt.

All to soon I'm jerked from yet another memory, this time by the bell signaling the end of lunch. I get up and tell everyone that I'll see them later and walk to 6 period math. As soon as I walk in I nearly faint.

Sitting next to my desk as if nothing ever happened is him. Peter. Half running, half walking I take my seat. A note finds its way onto my desk, once in my seat. Opening it I see the elegant script that only comes from years of practice, more than I had. Peter wrote that I should wait to read it till I was alone. Alittle put off I folded it back up and shoved it in my pocket right as class started. Unable to help myself I very sneaky like stared at Peter all period not listening to the teacher at all. Thankfully there was no homework and the class ended.

The rest of the day passes me by in an even faster blur then this morning, if that's possible. Skipping out on Willow I run home with the speed of a cheetah.

Once home I run to the kitchen to make end of the day snacks and read the note." Dear Bella I miss you so much it hurts, and besides it seems to have calmed down enough so I came back. I would love to come over for dinner if that's possible. If not I will be in your room regardless. Hope I can meet your family finally. Love Peter." The idea of Peter coming over period made my heart soar.Racing up the stairs taking them 2 at a time. Before walking in I check my appearance.

There in all his beauty was Peter. I walk over to him and nearly cry when he hugs me. We stand like that until we're sure we're real then he picks me up and lays me on the bed gently. Laying down himself he starts kissing me ignoring my surprised gasp. Breaking apart so I can caught my breath." I missed you. God it was hell to be away from you, from you for so long. Sorry if I caught you off guard I just wanted to feel your lips on mine."" It's fine, believe me when I say that I could careless that it was abrubt or impolite. And please don't stop kissing me, it was my own personal hell without you as well." Grinning a crooked smile I love he kissed me until the front door opened and signaled that we were no longer alone.

Getting up Peter closed the door, then came back and laid down next to me. Just like that it was as if nothing ever happened, like he never left to protect both of us. I started trying to get up and said " You might want to go wait outside, unless its normal for a family to meet their daughters boyfriend while he's laying on her bed staring at her." He smiled and went to the window. Leaving the room I headed down the stairs. Everyone was there and when I came in heads turned." Everybody I invited my boyfriend over for dinner so please look sharp and be on your best behavior!" Obviously no one quite believed me since I rarely talked about him anymore so no one wanted to pop my bubble but had to tell me that he was not here right now. Before they could get a word in edge wise I simply stated that " I know he left for a while but Peter got back last night and wanted to meet you all properly. So let's go and get ready!!!!!

About a half hour later dinner was almost done, the table was set, and everyone was looking very nice in their good evening wear. I was wearing a polite but beautiful black and white dress with a belt around my hips. Brown hair forced into a bun and a piece next to my face. With a little bit of lip gloss and green eye shadow I felt more beautiful than ever before. I was just about to check the time when their was a knock on the door. Racing to get the door it didn't cross my mind that my family was acting weird until I was already at the door. I couldn't blame them, I was the oldest and the only one to ( so far ) have a boyfriend so no one knew what to expect except me since I was thee one dating Peter.

Throwing thee door open I looked into the angle face that belonged to my hansome vamp boyfriend. With slightly shaggy brown hair and eyes as green as meadows. Trying not to stare,( and failing miserably) I introduced Peter to my family." Everyone this is Peter, Peter this is my family."" Its wonderful to meet Isabellas family." I gave him dagger eyes when he called me Isabella. He just chuckled slightly. I hate that name you see. Thats why some people call me Bella and others call me Raven. If anyone calls me Bells, Hells Bells, or Isabella, my first instinct is to smack you till your on your ass." Peter this is my mom Grace, my brother Alexander but please call him Alex, my baby sister Lucy, and my cousin Willow."" Hello again Peter its nice to see you outside of school." Willow said dramatically. My mother being the wonderful woman she is saved me from yelling at her right then and there." Willow . Thats not polite," she hissed at her then, louder replied " why don't you go check on dinner and start making dessert. Please let's sit in the living room and wait." We walked to the living room together, me like the clumsy fool I am and Peter with the lethal grace of a vampire. I turned around at one point and saw my mother with wide eyes. She might have figured out that Peter was a vamp. Damn!!! I had hoped to keep it from her for as long as possible. Well as long as she doesn't say a word to anyone we'll be in good shape.

Sitting in the living room was a great way to get to know everyone. We were quit for a while, then my mom started questioning him which pissed me off but there was nothing I could do. After the 20 minute long Spanish inquisition dinner was ready.

It was a perfectly made baked ziti, further proof that willow can't cook while I can. The conversation at the table was polite. I saw mom stare at Peter, judging him like a normal mother one minute, but then shooting daggers with her eyes when she thought no one was paying attention." So Peter how old are you, and what grade are you in?" He gave me a curious look, then realized that she knew but wasn't suppose to and answered"I'm 17 and a sophomore like Bella. We sit next to each other in math. That's how we met actually!" The rest of dinner was fairly quit. For dessert we had chocolate fudge cake and vanilla ice cream. I was done with my dessert when Peter announced that he had to leave do to a family matter.

Once he left mom asked for help cleaning now that dinner was over. Knowing what she wanted I volunteered. Sure enough not 10 minutes later she started in on me." Honey I know you like him-" cutting her off abruptly I said " love mom, you mean love him." Knowing she wasn't going to win going down that road she started again," yes I mean love him. But do you know him? I mean really know him!?" By that point I was fuming. She just met him and already she hates him. So with as much venom as I could muster, and was willing to use spat" I know him better than you, especially in one department." That may or may not have been the way to go, but mom never noticed." So you know what he is, that he could easily kill you in your sleep or while your walking down the hall with him in school."" Yes I know he's a vampire. And that doesn't scare me in the slightest!" Her face got all sad like when she heard that." Even if it takes your family away from you, or you from us?!"" Even then, know just tell me whats going on with you!?" She half met my gaze and replied with" go get ready for bed, I'll be in in a moment." Bewildered I did as I was told.

Once in my room I grabbed my pj's and changed quickly. Then I went to the bathroom to brush my hair and teeth.

Back in my room, my mom was sitting in her old rocking chair. Not knowing what to do and not wanting to look like an idiot I walked in and went to my bed." Bella, do you remember that song I sang to you when you were small?" Well that was the stupidest question in creation if ever I'd heard it, of course I remembered who wouldn't." Yes mom I remember. What does that have to do with anything?"

She started singing and it was like I was 7 again. When she finished I just sat therein the new memory of the song." There's a meaning behind it. It speaks of a truth that has faded to myth and legend. You see vampires are searching everywhere to find something, actually someone. And this someone will bring the wolves rain to an end putting the human race back up front while wolves and vamps fade to legend once more. This someone is a vampire that has "slept" for many years always growing because her family has protected her from her reality, her destiny. Keeping her away from wolves and vamps while she lives as normal a life as possible. People treating her differently is a minor thing because it is the human way of treating someone who is nothing like them, which whether they know it or not they can sense. This person didn't know any of this until now." What was she talking about." I don't understand, what does this have to do with me?"" I didn't expect you to get it. Bella, your the girl from the song!" With that I promptly faint.
